Glossary
Terms from dragon biographies and clan profile that might need some explaining. The terms are in alphabetical order. Locations are explained in the Map while terms from canon lore are not explained. If you come across a term that may need explaining, leave a comment or send a message and it may be added here. Clicking the names will lead to the mentioned dragon.
A
Air ship: A type of means of transport that moves through the air usually with magic or science, sometimes both. They are often ship shaped, hence the name, and are quite common around wind domain.
Ambassador: High-ranking member of the clan that is tasked with maintaining ties between the clan they reside in and the faction to who they work for, usually elemental gods. They also make sure the members tied to the faction are not mistreated.
Ambassador familiar: Familiar that hired ambassadors receive upon receiving their job. They are most common among elemental ambassadors and are usually spirits of the said element.
Ambassador’s law: Refers to the rules by what ambassadors are bound by as they work.
Ancient lair: Mostly refers to the lairs of the gods at the heart of the domain. It can also be a title an old and important non-deity clan can bear.
Ancient lair's clan records: Records of clans that are in contact with the ancient lair usually through ambassadors.
Anti-aging spell: Spell that is used to combat aging. There are multiple variants.
Anti-gravity spell: Spell that nullifies effect of gravity. Sometimes called levitation spell. There are multiple variants.
Apparel size spell: Spell that is used to change size and shape of a piece of apparel so it can fit multiple breed. Most manufacturers add the spell to their clothes to avoid making tens of different variants of same piece of clothing.
Appearance spell: Spell that is used to change one's appearance. Sometimes called skins, accents or skincents. There are multiple variants some just changing color while others change attributes.
Architect couple: Rosalin and
Pernis.
Assistant familiar: Any type of familiar who works as dragon's assistant.
Audio letter: Type of magical letter that reads itself when prompted. It is commonly used when communicating with a blind individual or someone with poor eye-sight. Some variants can mimic tone while others are very neutral.
Audio writing: Skill that is used to write audio letters. The skill rarely appears as naturally obtained gift and usually needs to be learned by hard work. As magical skill it is medium hard to learn. Dragons unable to learn the skill can bypass that with artifacts.
Authority house: Refers to house where clan's or town's authority lives, especially when the said house is particularly fancy when compared to commoners' houses.

Baby hole: Hatchery, usually used as a mock name.
Behemoth mage: Mage that works in the Behemoth.

Being: (Finlande's bio) Refers to the entity that controls events in the clan; the owner of the account.
Binding spell: Spell that is used to bind or tie someone. There are multiple variants.
Bird people: Refers to Talonoks, Harpies and Aviars.
Biwizard Cup: A friendly battle between houses of the Observatory and the Behemoth during the summer of 2019. Dominance battle.
Biwizard tournament: *See Biwizard Cup.
Body spell: Spell that changes attributes of the body, better known as skins, accents and skincents. Sometimes called appearance spell.
Border guard: Type of title in the clan. Border guards live outside the main lair in the sector that was assigned for them to protect and either stop or hold back any attacks that may try to go through.
Breed changer: An entity that changed breeds of residents against their will;
Nemo.
Breeding doctor: Doctor that specializes in taking care of nesting parents, eggs and young hatchlings. Sometimes called nesting doctor.
C
Calling: Refers to a ritual or spell that is meant to call spirits to the caller; summoning.
Chairdragon: Dragon version of a chairman.
Clan’s authority: Refers to dragons who have authority in the clan, mainly the leaders, judge, priest, diplomats and ambassadors.
Color bias: Prejudice that stems from dragon's colors instead of breed or element.
Conference: Refers to the event in which the entire clan gathers to decide about various clan matters.
Corrupt safe: Usually refers to a strong magical item that has been enchanted to keep its magic from corrupting its user.
Counter spell: Spell that either blocks or undoes another spell.
Creature control: Work that is done to make sure wild and potentially dangerous creatures don't pose danger to the clan. It is usually done by rangers.

Creatures: Usually used on monsters that arrived with opening of the
Forbidden Portal.
Crest sign: Crest position that faes use to indicate their mood. They can also be used to indicate simple reactions like "yes", "no" and "yay!".
Crest smile: Crest sign that means "smile". Mostly used by faes.
Crystal creature: Refers to
Milla when she was under a specific spell.
Crystal infection: Magical sickness that caused
Malla's body to be covered in sharp crystals. The sickness is considered to be unrelated to gembond.
Crystal plague: *See crystal infection.
Crystalhoof Centaurs: Group of centaurs that lives in the wood. For more information see

Crystallization spell: A spell that turns the target into immobile but sentient crystal statue. Powerful spell that is known by handful of residents. It is used to imprison prisoners.
Crystallizing spell: *See crystallization spell.
D
Danger Zone: Refers to the area outside the clan's area that is rarely checked by rangers and thus considered very dangerous to dragons.
Daylight substitute: Dragon that fills in for their nocturnal clan mates during daytime;
Fiona.
Day of love: Dragon version of Valentine's Day; Love is in the Air event.
Day of the lovers: *See day of love.
Dark magic: Generally shun type of magic that is generally seen as unethical and very corrupting. Should not be confused to shadow magic that is its own type of magic.
Darkest day of the year: Night of the Nocturne.
Digging group: A gathering group that was sent to seek and dig up some treasure.
Digging team: *See digging group.
Dive vision: Type of vision that is triggered when looking beyond water surface and letting the sight to "dive" in. The term is unofficial.
Doll triplets: Huey,
Dewey and
Louie.
Dorming: Act of offering dragons a place to stay in during preparation period for a battle and during the said battle. Out-of-flight variant is often called "boarding".
Dragon-familiar: Dragon that was turned into familiar.
Dragonkind: Dragon version of mankind.
Dragonity: Dragon version of humanity.
Dream alteration: Act of altering someone's dream usually while they are sleeping. There are multiple methods.
Dream learning: Special type of learning that happens while lucid dreaming. The learned things can range from muscle memory to cognitive learning.
Dream-level learning: *See dream learning.
Dream manipulation: Either an ability to alter other's dreams or ability to manipulate someone through their dreams, generally the latter. There are multiple methods.
Dream manipulators: Refers to
Pahatar and her little revolution group.
Dream science: Branch of science that studies dreams. It has multiple branches of its own.
Dream spell: Spell that is used to affect someone's dream. Sometimes the term is used to describe sleep spell as well. There are multiple variants.
Dream travelling: Ability to travel into someone's dreams or ability to travel in their own dream akin to lucid dreaming. Can be done through a gift or through a spell.
Dream therapy: Type of therapy that is made through controlled dreams while asleep.
Dreamwalker: A dragon capable of dream walking. Most of them hatched with the ability.
Dream walking: A gift that allows the bearer to walk into someone's dream and affect it in small ways. The gift is hard to obtain if one didn't hatch with it.
Druid: Type of magic user whose powers stem from nature around them. Most of druids are nature dragons.
E
Eahket: One of clan's guardian spirits. Wayfinder and protector of travelers who is often depicted as a dolphin.
Ealga: One of clan's guardian spirits. Guardian of the fate and ruler of life and death who is often depicted as a unicorn.
Egg creating circumstances: Refers to the circumstances that are needed for eggs to be created. They are magically charged place, emotional charge and strong enough gender difference between the parents and genetic energy. For more information see

Elemental capital: *See Ancient lair.
Energy charged text: *See energy writing.
Energy reading: Ability to sense and recognize energies around oneself. The ability is naturally strong with faes and skydancers.
Energy sensing ability: *See energy reading.
Energy writing: Skill that is used to write text where each symbol or word has their own energetic charge. The text can be read by someone who is able to connect specific charge to specific letter or word.
Event recorder: Device that is capable of recording small moments; a film camera named by someone who doesn't know words "film" or "camera".
Everynight life: Nocturnal version of "everyday life".
Exalted: (Game) Dragon version of the Hangman game; instead of hanging each other dragons send each other to sit on the exalt pillar.

Fae brothers: Refers to
Trooper and
Stratospher before they changed breeds.
Fae language: Refers to the crest signals faes use to indicate tone.
Fae signal: A crest position faes use to indicate certain emotion or tone.
Fae sisters: Castor and
Pollux.
Fallen country: Generally refers to once prosperous now in ruin sub-section of Southern Icefield in where
Kalani spent most of her early days.
Familiar-dragon thing: Generally refers to a dragon-familiar hybrid, may also refer to
Doug.
Fast painter: *See time freezer.
Fate entity: A force that controls fate; the player.
Fate writer: Someone with ability to control someone else's fate.
Faux body: A fake body spirit-like entities may create for themselves to be able to interact with physical things.
Feather cloud: Suometar.
Festival of the Five: Annual five night event that is organized to celebrate clan's five guardians. Each night has its own theme, cuisine and events for the guardian who is celebrated that night. For more information see

Festival portal: Large portal that is active during elemental holidays. Each region has eleven, ten in the main hub and one near a large route. During the holiday the lone portals outside the main holiday region connect to one of the portals in the main hub allowing dragons outside the region an easy way to reach the festival activities. The portals are active as long as the festival is active and not a moment longer.
First Lady: The founder lady;
Nemo.
First Male: The founder male;
Alfa.
Fisher group: A gathering group that was sent to collect water based food.
Fluff Ball: Nickname of
Kaamos.
Focus altering spell: Spell that is used to hinder or redirect someone's focus. There are multiple variants.
Food group: Gathering group that looks for food.
Foraging: Type of gathering that focuses on finding plant based food.
Foraging group: A gathering group that was sent to collect plant based food.
Forejewel: Refers to the jewel skydancers have on their forehead.
Forest spirit: Spirit that lives in the forest. Not to be confused with a spirit embodying the forest.
Forteller: Someone who is able to predict the future one way or another. Usually used as an umbrella term or when the specific title isn't known.
Founder: Nemo or
Alfa.
Founder couple: Nemo and
Alfa.
Founder family: The two founders and their children.

Foursome: Generally used on
Tilia, Flora, Bloom and Rose when talking about no particular personality.
Free-minded: Someone who is not under a mind-control spell or someone who is able to think freely.
Fungi people: Fungi Sage and
Moonlight Fungi.

Gatherer: Someone who is partaking a gathering.
Gathering: Nightly event in which six groups are send to a specific area to search for food and other loot. The event is mandatory to dragons without demanding job while it is optional to dragons with demanding job.
Gathering area: Either the area where the gathering groups are formed or where they go to gather resources, more commonly the first.
Gathering group: Group of dragons that is sent out to seek loot as part of gathering.
Gathering team: *See gathering group.
Gathering journey: The trip gathering groups take to reach the gathering area.
Gathering organizer: Dragon who organizes the nightly gathering groups;
Tinker.
Gathering trip: *See gathering journey.
Game night: Occasionally organized event during which the clan has some games they can play together.
Ghostition: An unnatural process during which the body fades away leaving only the soul. The term is unofficial.
Gift: A special ability dragon may possess upon hatching. They are usually unnatural to dragons which is why they are considered as gifts from gods.
Globe incident: Refers to the incident in which the ice flight was trapped inside snow globes during fall 2019. Dominance event.
Gossip queen: Witchi.
Gravity void: Usually a small magical sphere that is affected by gravity and momentum but items inside it are not keeping them safe from gravity and momentum related accidents.
Great Father: Refers to any of the elemental gods that are seen as male, in the clan most often
Arcanist.
Great Storm: Refers to the storm that caused
Storm to lose her arms. Unrelated to the storm that caused the water deity to disappear.
Guardians: Generally refers to clan's five guardian spirits; Ruoigu, Nagir, Ealga, Idja and Eahket.
H
Hatching clan: The clan in which the dragon hatched especially if they no longer live in there.
Hatchling-sitter: Kaamos.
Hazard mainframe: Half-magical half-scientific system inside the Observatory that monitors the arcane region and reports any anomalies, energy surges, meteorite crash sites and hints of foreign lifeforms for HEV workers to check out.
Hazardous Environments Worker/HEV worker: Umbrella term for workers who work in hazardous places like labs that had a big accident, crash sites of a foreign lifeforms or sites with dangerous levels of magic and/or radiation. Work may include neutralizing the danger, evacuating the area or doing research. Some HEV workers specialize in one type of work while others are generalized and do all forms. In more specific context specialized HEV workers are usually referred with more specialized terms, like scientist, researcher, neutralizer and rescuer, while general ones are simply referred as HEV workers.
Head: (Max’s bio) Leader of some kind, mainly in criminal organization.
High heads: (Feeniks’ bio) *See summoners.
High mage: Well-trained and experienced mage who is respected by their peers and who generally has a lot of power. They often work within ranks of a deity.
High Scholars: Well-trained and experienced scholar who is respected by their peers and who generally has a lot of power. They often work within ranks of a deity.
Horse people: Centaurs.
House: Refers to a house system, a practice in which new students are divided into houses, generally one of four, once they start their studies. The practice is known to be in use in the Observatory, the Behemoth, the Cloudsong and the Beacon of the Radiant Eye. In the clan “house” generally refer to one of Observatory’s houses. Dominance related.
House Cup: Annual competition between houses that at least the Observatory and the Cloudsong have. In the clan “House Cup” usually refers to one between Observatory’s houses. Dominance related.
Hunting group: A gathering group that was sent to collect meat based food.
I
Idja: One of clan's guardian spirits. Herder of the dead who is often depicted as a swan.
Imperial brothers: Tres and
Mani, sometimes includes
Sabor.
Imperial graveyard: Emperor's Wake.

Insect catching group: A gathering group that was sent to collect insect based food.
Insect gathering group: *See insect catching group.
Insta-heal: Something that can heal injuries and illnesses at an instant. Extremely tiring, almost lethally, and thus very rare.
International police: Joint effort of multiple elements and breeds that is attempting to fight international crime.
Invisibility spell: Spell that turns something or someone invisible. There are multiple variants.
Island: (In arcane domain) Piece of land that has separated from ground and is now floating around the Isles.

Law enforcers: Groups and individuals that make sure laws are obeyed. Can refer to ones in a small clan, in independent group or under deity’s service.
Leader: Tinker or
Alfa.

Leading duo: Generally a leader and their guardian;
Tinker and
Morgana or
Alfa and
Obsidius.
Lesser spirit: A weak spirit that is usually a ghost of a deceased ordinary being, like a dragon or a beastclan member.
Levitation spell: Spell that nullifies effect of gravity. Sometimes called anti-gravity spell. There are multiple variants.
Light bath: Ability that lets the dragon harness sunlight to burn old skin or fur to keep themselves clean and glossy. The ability is obtained through a spell and is exclusive to light dragons.
Light speed: Ability that lets dragon increase their running or flying speed while in sunlight. The ability is obtained through a spell or it can be hatched with and it is exclusive to light dragons.
Lighting spell: Spell that is used to illuminate surrounding area. There are multiple variants.
Lightning family: *See science family.
Lovebirds day: Dragon version of Valentine's Day; Love is in the Air event.
Lovebirds festival: Dragon version of Valentine's Day including few days around it; Love is in the Air event.
Lovebird holiday: *See Lovebirds festival.

Madmen: (Feeniks’ bio) *See summoners.
Mage: Type of magic user who uses magic around them to do variety of things. The type is common among arcane dragons.
Mages: Usually refers to
Shadow and
Sapny.
Maggot: Breeze, the name is used as a slur by those who don’t like him.
Magical mutation: Mutation that happens due to exposure to magic. Mutation can be physical, mental or ability based and it can happen before hatching or later in life.
Magic sensing sense: Ability to sense magic around someone. The ability is seen as natural sense to fae dragons.
Magicless: Normally magical item or creature that is lacking magic.
Major spirit: A strong spirit that may act as a god-like entity on a small area.
Maniacs: *See summoners.
Manipulation spell: Spell that is used to manipulate someone usually through mind altering. There are multiple variants.
Material manipulation: Act of manipulating properties of material, like turning iron light or glass rough. Quite common in alchemy.
Medium spirit: A spirit that is stronger than a lesser spirit but not as strong as major spirit. Generally refers to spirits mentioned in the Book of Spirits.
Memory altering spell: *See memory spell.
Memory spell: Spell that is used to alter someone’s memories or what they can and cannot remember. There are multiple variants.
Mimic night: Night of the Nocturne.
Mind alteration: Umbrella term for spells and abilities that affect mind. Mind control and memory alteration are well known examples of mind alteration.
Mind-manipulator: Nagabaro.
Mind master: Nagabaro.
Minister: Refers to dragons running and being part of Ministries in ancient lairs.
Ministry for Foreign Affairs: A committee of an ancient lair that maintain ties with clans outside the deity’s region by hiring and firing ambassadors. They are also the ones to act if the element they represent is mistreated. They can also grant deity’s blessings or take them away.
Ministry of Subordinate Clans: A committee of an ancient lair that maintain ties with clans inside the deity’s region by hiring and firing ambassadors. They can also grant deity’s blessings or take them away.
Monster form: An alternative form a dragon can have especially if it is monstrous or is in control of the dragon instead of being controlled by the dragon.
Multiuse magic barrier: Powerful magical barrier that is capable of blocking more than just one thing.
N
Nagir: One of clan's guardian spirits. General protector who is often depicted as a wolf.
Namesake: A creature in another world that shares a name and/or other aspects with a dragon or familiar in the clan or areas related to it.
Namesake Incident: Refers to an event during which dimensional walls were temporarily severed and creatures from different worlds ended up in dragon world. The creatures were primarily ones that shared name with a dragon.
Nest shards: Crystal shards that surround arcane nests, mainly the ones that hold eggs.
Nest sister/brother/sibling: Sibling from the same litter as oneself, usually refers to biological siblings.
Nesting: Act of creating and incubating eggs.
Nesting doctor: *See breeding doctor.
Nesting place: Place where nesting happens, usually hatchery or nesting grounds.
Nesting spell: A ritual couples wanting to create eggs have in order to create eggs in controlled manner.
New-member-introducer: Azul.

Night: Usually Night of the Nocturne.
Non-dragon: Creature that is not a dragon. May refer to beastclan members, pets and food.
Not-rock: Thing that is thought to be a rock but isn't.

Observatory mage: Mage that works in the Observatory.
Observatory project: A project during which the clan built an observatory for
Nova.
Observatory reject: Dragon that attempted to study in the Observatory but was either rejected or kicked out or they left on their own.
Observatory scholar: Scholar that works in the Observatory.
One-time-use spell: Spell that can’t be reactivated once it wears off. Not to be confused with one-time-use scroll, scrolls that lose their magic after being used.
Organic based spell: Form of magic that uses organic material as base for the spells. Most common among plague and nature mages.
P
Parasite: (Morgana’s bio) Breeze.
Past seer: Type of seer that specializes into seeing events from the past. The visions may give hints of what is coming in the future.
Peak: (In arcane domain) One of the crystal mountains that make up Crystalspine Reaches. May also refer to clan’s first lair.
Pearlhugger Mock name of pearlcatcher dragons.
Performance mage: Type of magic user who primarily uses magic to entertain others.
Performance magic: Type of magic that is primarily used to entertain others. It usually doesn’t have practical use beyond being distracting and deceiving.
Permanent sleep: Type of curse that casts target to sleep from which they may not be able to wake up without outside help.
Permapuppy: Puppy that has been enchanted to stay as puppy forever or until the spell is reverted.
Petrification spell: Spell that is used to immobilize the target. There are multiple variants.
Petrifying liquid: Magical liquid that is used to petrify the target.
Pillar mage: Mage that works in the Pillar of the World.
Plague blast: Simple magical plague attack that novice spell casters use. Effects vary between spell casters but they are rarely harmful, usually just annoying.
Plant sight: Type of powerful magical sight that lets a dragon to use plants around the world to see events they are witnessing. The ability is obtained through practice or it can be obtained through magical mutation and it is exclusive to nature dragons. The term is unofficial.
Poisoning incident: Refers to the incident in which
Nobu poisoned two and kidnapped one dragon.
Polar Sky: Clan’s old name.

Portal: Generally

Portal spell: Type of teleportation spell that uses external portals to allow travelling through distances.
Portal wyvern: Spectre Wyvern or
Void Wyvern.
Possession protection spell: Spell that is used to protect items and creatures from being possessed by external force.
Prison spell: Spell that is used to imprison someone. There are multiple variants.
Protomass: State in which an item or material is reduced into its most basic components. Protomasses are most commonly used in alchemy when trying to turn one material into another.
Proudcatcher: Mock name of a pearlcatcher dragon especially if the dragon is very proud.
Public Hearing: An event the gods host every now and then. During the event gods hear common dragons’ concerns, wishes and pleads and act if they consider it necessary after which they return to do what they usually do. When Public Hearings happen depends on the god and others are more consistent than others.

Right-hand dragon: Dragon version of right-hand man.
Ritualist: Someone who performs rituals usually on smaller scale than priests.

Runeflower: Type of flower that is shaped like one of the elemental runes. There are eleven variants. For more information see

Runesworn: One of arcane’s houses.
Runetree: The tree that is dominant in the Dream Wood. Starwood’s relative that appears in autumn colors during days and turns blue during nights. Older trees have rune like cracks on their bark that glow during the night giving the tree its name. For more information see

Runewood: Wood that is made out of runetree, sometimes also the tree itself.
Ruoigu: One of clan's guardian spirits. Protector of knowledge and civilization and main guardian of the clan who is often depicted as a reindeer. Can also refer to the clan itself.

Sarvva: Now ruined town deep within the wood that once housed a powerful mage clan.
Nemo's hatching home.
Scavenger: Someone who is part of scavenger group.
Scavenger group: A gathering group that was sent to seek out materials and treasure.
Scavenging group: *See scavenger group.
Scavenging team: *See scavenger group.
Scavenging trip: *See gathering journey.
Scholar girls: Shadow and
Sapny.
Science dragons: *See science family.
Science duo: Tempest and

Scout robot: Usually quite small robot that is built to scout areas too dangerous for dragons and living familiars.
Scouting group: Group that is sent to scout ahead while the main groups waits to hear if the area is safe to travel to.
Scouting party: *See scouting group.
Scouting Squad: Grouping that is part of ancient lair. They keep an eye on the deity’s realm and report possible dangers or issues to another grouping to take care of.
Search age: The age when guardian dragons start their Search.
Seer gifts: Umbrella term for abilities that let the bearer to see either the future or the past.
Self-reading text: *See audio writing.
Semi-body: Physical body that hasn’t developed properly and usually has very basic form or a body that is still in the middle of forming.
Sense-tricking spell: Spell that is used to tricks senses. Sometimes called hallucination or illusion spells. There are multiple variants.
Shade mages: Shadow and
Sapny.
Shade summoner: Shadow,
Sapny,
Glade or
Megabrain.
Shadow diving: Ability that lets the bearer to dive into shadows and move in them as if the shadows were pools of water. The ability is obtained through practice and it is exclusive to shadow dragons. It is considered stronger version of shadow walking.
Shadowling: Shadow dragon.
Shadow plague: Type of curse that causes the inflicted to be overtaken by shadow if they experience too strong negative emotion. The term is unofficial.
Shadow walking: Ability that lets the bearer to appear invisible when standing or walking in shadow. The ability is obtained through practice and it is exclusive to shadow dragons. It is considered weaker version of shadow diving.
Sharkbite: Mosaic’s ship.
Ship stop: Small island or peak that is usually located in less populated area far away from actual ports. They act as a stopping opportunities for passing ships if they happen to need that, and at times they act as a ways for travelers to hop onboard. Some may be part of small villages while others are not connected to any kind of settlement.
Silence spell: Spell that is used to silence someone or make something unable to produce noise. Also spells that stop noise from getting past certain point count as silence spells. There are multiple variants.
Situation memory: Part of memory that recalls situations and events.
Size altering spell: Spell that is used to change size of an item. Commonly used to avoid needing to buy different sized tools for serving different sized dragons.
Skin-making: Form of art and design that focuses on designing and making skin spells.
Skin spell: *See appearance spell.

Spirit talker: Someone who is able to communicate with spirits. Some have hatched with the ability, others have learned it.
Spying mirror: Artifact that lets the bearer see what someone else is doing or what is happening elsewhere.
Sorrow season: Period of time during which a dragon or familiar processes losing a loved one.
Stage: Untamed area that is usually infested with Shade touched creatures, hostile Beastclans and hostile creatures in general; Coliseum venue.
Starcatchers: In-arcane support group for people on autism spectrum.
Stargazers: Arcane dragons.
Step: (In arcane domain) Risen piece of land that has yet to separate from ground. Focal Point is made out of steps of different height.
Step architecture: Special type of architecture that utilizes steps when designing structures. Appears mainly in Focal Point.
Step structure: Refers to the formation steps have created or into which they have been bent into.
Stunning gas: Type of gas that knocks out creatures that breathe it. There are multiple variants.
Sub-dimension: Small space between dimensions that is not affected by time. They are used in time travel.

Summoning call: Refers to a ritual or spell that is meant to call spirits to the caller.
Summoning incident: Refers to the event in which
Shadow and
Sapny, with a help of
Glade and
Megabrain, tried to sacrifice the clan to summon the Shade.

Teleconnection: Any kind of long distance connection between two individuals similar to telepathy. The term is usually used to refer long distance communication that happens thanks to an artifact instead of a gift or ability.
Telephonic stone: Powerful and very expensive artifacts used for long-distance communication. They are mainly used between Deities’ lairs due to their price and even then they are only used in emergencies.
Teleport spell: *See teleportation spell.
Teleportation spell: Spell that is used to move large distances in short periods of time. Can also be used to get past very narrow places. There are multiple variants.
Temple cottage: Cottage sized temple.
Thought transfer: Action of transferring one's thoughts into another's head; type of telepathy.
Time freezer: Small device that freezes the moment on a piece of paper; camera.
Time hop: The moment when someone moves from one time period to another as part of time travelling.
Time manipulation: Umbrella term for spells and abilities that affect time. Stopping and slowing down time are examples of time manipulation.
Tracking spell: Spell that is used to track down something or someone usually by following target’s magical trail. There are multiple variants.
Transformation mask: Mask that let’s the wearer to transform into another creature, usually to the creature the mask depicts.
Transformation spell: Spell that is used to turn into another creature or item. There are multiple variants.
Transformer: Refers to the guardian who turned two dragons into nocturnes and three dragons into nocturne puppets. Their spirit is currently accompanying
Puolanka.
Tree dragon: Nature dragon.
Tree wall: Group of trees that grow so near each other that walking past them is near impossible.
Trivia lock: Type of locking spell that asks questions from ones attempting to open it and opens up only if given a right answer.
Twisting spell: Type of spell that is used to twist items and materials to other shapes. It is most commonly used on materials that cannot be bent with brute force, like wood or bone.

Underworld: An alternative dimension in which demons reside. The world is made out of multiple different subareas known as Hells.

Void magic: A form of magic that uses anti- and dark-matter to cast spells. Some variations use neutral magic that has had its magic removed making it negative magic.

Wood creature: Refers to the creatures that live in the wood surrounding the clan, especially the endemic ones.
