Xavier replied, not quite knowing how to respond at first. His eyes softened when he realized the elderly dragon that had asked him was of his kind. "I'm afraid I have never met my own parents, either of them." He gave a long sigh, looking into the distance as smoke started to curl between his talons. "Even if I did know who they were, I couldn't imagine how they'd react if I actually met them. So, I prefer if I never meet them.
