Biography
Trooper was the middle hatchling of his full fae litter and had two sisters. Older one of them, Mauveine, really liked gems and wanted all the nests in the hatchery for herself and refused to listen to Kaamos, their hatchling-sitter, at all. It was up to Savu, Trooper’s younger sister, to make sure Mauveine didn’t kick any of them out of the nests and the hatchery. Trooper looked up to Savu and wanted to be like her solving arguments and all that type of stuff. Once he left the hatchery he soon noticed two older faes bullying third one and approached them. When Trooper arrived the two had started to argue and Trooper asked them to stop and forgive each others. Neither Fea nor Skye wanted to do that so Trooper started to explain why forgiving was important but they both left before he could finish. Trooper noticed that and was happy of having been able to solve their argument so easily. After that Trooper noticed the third fae just nearby having sneaked out before he arrived and came to ask if he was alright. Stratospher told he was and Trooper left him alone saying if he ever needed help he could ask him. Some time after that after Trooper had solved Aspen and Nobu’s argument Witchi came to visit him and told that the faes Trooper had met during his first night outside were all his siblings. Trooper not being very close to his sisters was very excited to have other siblings too and continued solving Fea and Skye’s arguments happy to be able to help his siblings. When they were not arguing then Trooper helped others to solve their arguments too. He was so good he only needed to look at the dragons that were arguing and they stopped immediately and Trooper was happy to be able to keep the clan peaceful. Trooper though started to feel a bit lonely when he noticed everyone in the lair move away when he started approaching and tried to find someone to spend time with. He noticed Stratospher sitting alone watching clouds looking a bit lonely and decided to try if his brother would accept his company. Stratospher didn’t seem to mind Trooper and he joined him watching clouds with him as long as they were visible. Trooper came to visit his brother often and didn’t really mind the fact he barely talked to him. He was happy to have someone to spend time with and talk to even if he wasn’t actually listening. Nearing the end of the year the clan was asked to move and Trooper was with other faes packing stuff to be delivered to their new home. Apparently others didn’t like the job and Fea and Skye especially were arguing all the time and Trooper had to make them forgive each others. Tension was high among them someone picking up a fight all the time and Trooper had to all the time remind them how they should stop fighting, forget their arguments and forgive each others. That seemed to annoy everyone and Mauveine, who was not willing to let her precious gems to be packed, ordered him to shut up as no one liked him. Mauveine’s words started to bother Trooper and in the new lair he tried to figure out why no one wanted to be with him. That though was really hard as no one wanted to tell him what he was doing wrong. Eventually Stratospher asked Trooper to join him with his night cloud tradition and gave him the answer. He asked if Trooper had ever thought why others were fighting to which Trooper answered no. Stratospher explained that Trooper forced others to forgive others without knowing why they were fighting in the first place making himself look very naive and out right stupid. Trooper was shocked by that and asked if Stratospher could help him to improve as he really wanted to be a good mediator but older fae had no tips to give and Trooper left him sad. Trooper tried to find someone who could help him to improve and after being able to approach Kaamos he was directed to clan’s chronicler Benizakura. At first he wasn't really interested about helping Trooper but after Kaamos having come to check how their meeting would go whispered something to him he put his book to the book pile and asked Trooper to give him some details. Trooper explained how he wanted to be a mediator but he couldn’t figure out how to do that correctly and then told how he had solved arguments in the past. Benizakura listened him and after Trooper had finished he explained how if he wanted to solve dissensions he should always know why it had started and how each party saw the situation and then either pick the side or stay neutral. Trooper spent following nights with Benizakura practicing understanding situations through clan’s history. Benizakura told him the situation and the backstory keeping dragons unnamed and Trooper had to tell how he would solve the situation and why. After that Benizakura told how the original situation had been solved and after their meeting was over Trooper spent rest of his time awake thinking if his solution was better than the original Benizakura refusing to tell that. Few nights later Trooper found Benizakura staring at two fighting dragons. He didn’t say anything to Trooper but he was able to tell he wanted him to solve their argument. Trooper was a bit nervous but approached the arguing dragons Benizakura just behind him making sure they didn’t run away and asked why they were arguing. Neither Mauveine nor Theia wanted to have Trooper involved in their argument and Benizakura had to convince them to let him try. Both remained silent and Trooper decided to ask Theia’s version first keeping his crest’s in position that told his sister to wait. Theia told how she had found a meteorite and was about to take it for her collection when Mauveine had came and tried to steal it. After that Trooper asked for Mauveine’s version who told she had seen a gem on the ground and seeing how Theia had tried to take it she had rushed to pick it up. Trooper was confused as both said they were fighting over a different thing and to clear things up he asked to see the stone to which both females said no. Benizakura asked if they even knew over what they were fighting for and demanded proof when they both said yes. Trooper rotated the stone in his hands and after hitting it to a crystal nearby breaking it he came to conclusion it wasn’t a meteorite nor a gem nor was it a rock. Both females were angry for Trooper for breaking their treasure and he was ashamed but Benizakura put his hand on his wing shoulder and after sniffing the not-rock he pointed out it to be one of Breeze’s pranks. Theia picked the not-rock and after watching it for some time she pointed out how embarrassing that is from her and left stating how she had got something better to do while Mauveine followed her soon after. Trooper watched females leaving feeling a bit confused. Benizakura praised Trooper and told him to keep practicing and before leaving he advised Trooper to not get involved to Fea and Skye’s arguments. He didn’t need to fall to their level. Soon after Benizakura had left Trooper noticed Stratospher watching him afar. Doubting he could hear him Trooper showed a crest signal to tell his brother that he was working to get better and showed that he was grateful for him. Stratospher answered with a crest smile. After that Trooper kept practicing both how to take an objective look into situations, how to recognize when his interference was needed and when it could make things worse. After having gained ”avoid” status Trooper had to work to not make others run from him and to make others notice he could try to help if there were any fights unsolved. He managed to ask everybody’s friend Azul to inform him if there were any of those he wasn’t aware of. Slowly but surely Trooper started to gain some recognition in the clan and months later he had become go-to dragon in dissensions. 
The clan was relatively small still and dragons in it came mostly along meaning Trooper didn’t need to solve arguments all the time. He had just started to practice how to be a good mediator and was not quite respected by his clan mates yet and he knew that he wouldn’t gain that if he only solved arguments and nothing else. He thought what else he could do for his clan and after talking with Mustamalva about clan’s new residents during a scavenging trip he realized what he could do. As far as he knew clan did not have plans in case of attacks from other clans and Trooper wanting to have something to do decided to start making them. He imagined different types of situations and variations for them and thought how his clan should act in any of them. While he was doing that Witchi came to visit him and told he should visit older spiral named Atlantic but she kept the reason secret. Trooper did not know where he could find that spiral but knowing his breed he expected him to show up in insect catching group. Trooper knew every other spiral in the clan because of their social nature so he was able to recognize Atlantic as the one he didn’t know. When Trooper saw him joining a gathering group he joined it too and while they were flying to the gathering area he approached the spiral. He asked if he had picked the right dragon and once he answered he introduced himself and asked what he did during his spare time as Trooper did not see him often. Atlantic was clearly annoyed by Trooper but told that he made battle and evacuation strategies for the clan. Trooper was excited to hear that and after telling he did the same he asked if they could compare their plans. Atlantic seemed a bit unwilling but accepted Trooper’s offer and the two met after the gathering where Trooper kept his plans. The two compared their plans and gave constructive criticism to each other with their plans as Trooper focused on battle strategies but ignored the environment while Atlantic did other way around. Both boys agreed that they could make best emergency plans if they worked together and decided to start meeting once a month to go through the plans they had made and over time became good friends as shy Atlantic started to open up to enthusiastic Trooper. Every now and then they flied around clan’s area to see how it could be used for clan’s defense. Boys' work was not unnoticed by their clan mates and both started to gain some recognition by their clan mates. Trooper was very happy about that as it helped him to get rid of his old status as the one who ruins everything. Later a young fae Tropi was breed changed into a nocturne by unknown force and the clan was very nervous because of that. Knowing she had been alone when that happened Trooper looked for Stratospher to make sure he was alright and made sure no one had offered him anything in any shape or form. Though they still met every now and then he didn’t spent that much time with his older brother than he used to and was worried that the one who attacked Tropi would also target him. Stratospher didn’t really care about others but if someone were to offer him a cruise among clouds, which he wanted so clearly that dragons in the nature domain would see it, he wouldn’t hesitate and Trooper was worried about that. After Trooper had gotten verification that Stratospher was unharmed and no one had tried to harm him either he met with Atlantic somewhere he could still see his brother. Clan had not been able to figure out who or what was behind the attack but both males had feeling that it had been a singular being most likely not part of them. Both males agreed that they needed to rework with their defense plans as they had focused on large groups trying to take over the clan and neither of them had though of small attacks like that. Making a defense plan that would protect the clan from both large and small attacks turned out to be rather challenging and they had not come up with anything till April. They could have build a magical barrier but neither of the males really liked the idea as that could lead to clan’s isolation and eventually their downfall. They though had to make up something and preferably fast as Utu told having seen an emperor in the light domain and the clan was worried something similar could pop up in Starfall Isles too. Soon after the Brightshine Jubilee the clan experienced another breed change when Malla was turned from spiral to guardian by seemingly the same entity as the first breed change. After that Morgana, right-hand dragon of one of the leaders, came to demand defense plan from Atlantic and Trooper but not knowing what exactly was behind these breed changes they didn’t know from what they should be able to be protected, how to do that and still be able to be ready for attempts of conquests. Nearing the Starfall Celebration they finally started to make any kind of progress with their plans. Atlantic had started to teach young and hot-headed spiral Rubikin battle stuff he had been studying on his spare time and the Red Viper really liked to battle. While teaching the battle enthusiastic Atlantic had thought of having areas around the lair where skilled fighters, that were a bit too hot-headed to live among the clan itself, would live and guard that area maybe with their familiars and either stop small threats they found in there or buy the clan some time to prepare if it was a bigger threat. Trooper liked that idea and started to think if it could be improved and if it had any massive problems. Later, after the clan had had a small hustle with a crystal creature that turned out to be one of the clan’s scholars Trooper’s attention was turned to Julius, clan’s ranger that was attacked by the creature. After thinking it for a moment he suggested to Atlantic that there could also be an extra sector outside the defense areas where clan’s rangers could scout with hunters on their spare time and keep an eye on any activity that seemed to approach the clan. Atlantic also suggested that they could and maybe should also use the cave system inside the Focal Point and the two started to draw maps trying to figure out how to use the environment especially after they both realized they wouldn’t have enough dragons to inhabit the defense areas. Trooper and Atlantic decided to focus on different things in their quest to make a defense system to the clan. Atlantic studied the environment and thought how it could be used and where the defense sectors could be while Trooper tried to find dragons to act as the border guards. That was rather hard as there were barely any dragons who could fit the role. Atlantic had thought of Rubikin but Trooper thought he would fit better as a warrior inside the lair which sadly left him with zero dragons to work with. Mustamalva, who already acted as clan’s border guard, could also be one but one tundra would not be enough. Later Trooper noticed another candidate in form of young ridgeback called Blacksnake when he battled against clan’s battle veteran Alfa and though he lost fast Trooper saw a lot of potential with him. Trying to find more dragons suited to act as clan’s defense wall Trooper decided to spent time with Stratospher hoping he might have some ideas for him. Stratospher didn’t really care about Trooper’s mission but mentioned that it would be cool to have some kind of mage that could bring clouds closer or something like that. That make Trooper notice that they should have also mages as border guards and started to look for suitable mages but sadly all mages in the clan were also scholars. Later Trooper met Atlantic who had built a model of how the environment could be used and told about the dragons he had thought about. Atlantic agreed that Blacksnake had a lot of potential but thought that at the moment he was a bit too hot-headed but didn’t ignore the chance that he might calm down later. After that they started to go through Atlantic’s plan with the environment. He had thought that outside the lair would be few defense sectors, four at least, in where a dragon or a very small group would live and scout taking care of small threats or hold larger threats and they would be paired with familiars that could either help them or come to inform the clan if something was approaching and if it was coming from one direction they could sent help to the guard. The cave system could be used to sneak to see what was approaching and if the clan ended up being surrounded they could exit the lair through it and then either surround the attackers into the lair or try to defeat it piece by piece. Outside the defense areas would be the extra area Trooper had suggested which could be used to keep wood’s creatures from attacking the defenders. Trooper liked the idea but his biggest problem remained, they had not enough dragons to fill at least four sectors. The two had a small disagreement with how they should solve that as Trooper wanted to make their plans public and have others help or maybe volunteer while Atlantic wanted to keep their plans as secret as long as it was unfinished. The two didn’t interact in few months because of that and instead they observed how things were going crazy in the clan and ended up with Tinker capturing the one who was behind the two breed changes and the crystal creature, an elderly fae named Nemo. Soon after that she was brought to the court and Trooper participated it. While he listened accusations against Nemo he got an idea that she was very powerful and skilled mage. He thought it through the accusation phase and after the clan started to think punishment for her he asked floor for himself. He gave the clan a short summary of what he and Atlantic had been thinking in terms of clan’s defense and noticed Atlantic giving him a cold eye in the audience. The judge, Karmiini, asked what it had to do with Nemo’s trial to which Trooper told that Nemo was a skillful mage and they should take advantage of that by making her one of the guardians. He also pointed out that they could use some magic, as they had other skillful mages too, to trap her in that area so she could not exit and have the sector to be somewhere the clan usually didn’t go through. Trooper’s suggestion was the most liked when it came to voting for the punishment and ended up being chosen. After the trial was over Atlantic rushed to Trooper hissing between his teeth why he had told their plan to which Trooper told that they needed help. Before Atlantic could whisper more to Trooper Tinker came to ask if they knew where exactly Nemo where to be trapped and how large the area would be and the next night the clan was working hard to border the area with magical stones. Neither Atlantic nor Trooper participated in building the area but instead they spent time with Alfa and Tinker planning how the areas were to be structured. Blacksnake had accepted their offer to be one of the guards while Mustamalva had not stating he needed to keep an eye on Nobu. While Atlantic and Trooper had been explaining Blacksnake his area, what he was supposed to do there and other important stuff clan’s plague ambassador Tahna came to talk with them. He asked if his adopted daughter Skeleton, who had been turned into one by Nemo for reasons Trooper understood well, could also be one of the guards. Trooper was not sure if she could act as one but promised to think about that. Few nights later when Trooper was talking with Vatta who had suggested to make plants create false roads ”to” the clan if someone tried to approach by foot when Tinker came to meet them. She asked Trooper if he had seen Nemo but Trooper couldn’t remember who she was talking about. She tried to explain that she was supposed to be trapped in that area with rune stones all around it but that didn’t help Trooper though he was confused why they had bothered to make a defense area without dragon to live in it. Trooper thought it for a moment and when Tinker left him swearing frustrated he realized they could give that area for Skeleton and flied to tell about that to Tahna happy to have the defense plan finally put into practice.
The defense sectors were finished in no time and Trooper was happy with the results. He though had come to notice they still had no mage to inhabit any of them and spent his time thinking how they were to solve that. He was so immersed in that that he barely noticed what was going on in the lair. One night he however noticed something was wrong his clan mates running around nervous not really stopping to explain anything to him. From what they talked about he was able to tell that someone or more had died. Suffering from lack of sleep Trooper didn't realize he probably should ask someone what exactly was going on and when Stratospher came to visit him he still didn't know for sure. Stratospher remained silent showing compassion with his crests. Trooper didn't like that and asked what had happened and after a long silence he told that Atlantic had been found dead along with Mustamalva, and Karmiini was missing. Trooper couldn't believe it and flied where he assumed the bodies would have been stored. There he found both males cold and silent and he was told they had been poisoned. Trooper demanded to know who had done that but neither of the healers could answer. Stratospher arrived to the room and came to sit next to Trooper covering him with his wing to comfort him. Trooper spent his nights next to Atlantic's body unable to accept he was no longer alive. Stratospher stayed close to him bringing food and informing if the clan had found the one who did that as well as just being near. Few nights later he came to tell that the one behind the kills was Nobu. After hearing that Trooper became angry knowing that Atlantic and Nobu were brothers and even from same litter. The clan held a trial as soon as possible and Trooper was there demanding death to the pearlcatcher along with tens of others. Stratospher tried to calm him down but Trooper couldn't hear him behind all the red and only thing that managed to stop him from shouting was Karmiini's argument with her son. The trial ended unsolved and Trooper left angry unable to understand why the judge had not accepted death as punishment when she clearly hated him with the rest of the clan. Trooper tried to make his way towards his nest when Stratospher stepped in front of him and asked him to come watch night clouds. Trooper was not in the mood to do that but Stratospher pulled him with him anyway. While watching clouds Trooper started to calm down and his anger turned into sorrow as he watched starts appearing wondering if one of them was Atlantic. Their peaceful moment was interrupted when they heard nervous noises coming from the lair before a loud scream made everyone silent. Trooper glanced to Stratospher to see if he was coming but he kept his eyes in sky and when Trooper turned his head to see what he was watching as clouds were disappearing. He turned his head just in time to see two shooting starts crossing the sky and something told Trooper that Atlantic's soul had moved on. In the lair Trooper and Stratospher watched as Nobu's body was brought from the wood. Trooper stared the dead pearlcatcher silently when he heard Rubikin whispering that Atlantic's death had been compensated. When Trooper turned to the spiral he had already left and Trooper smelled fresh blood where he had been. The following night Trooper was witnessing as all the dead dragons were burned. Before they had started he had heard Tahna asking Kupari to spare bones so they could be given for Skeleton to be used as weapons. Trooper didn't like the idea of his friend's bones being used as weapons and asked why Tahna wanted to do that. The wildclaw explained that it was not to offend him but to honor him, allow him to be part of what he worked for. Trooper had no objections other than seeing possible plague customs as cruel and remained silent. Trooper and Stratospher watched the bonfire almost till the fire died out leaving before bones would become visible. They went to watch stars both remaining silent Trooper wondering if Atlantic was watching down from there. Lonely having lost someone so dear to him Trooper promised himself to never let anyone hurt his brother who was as if not more dear to him than Atlantic had been.
The life carried on and though Trooper still missed Atlantic it didn't bother him that much anymore. He had returned to work with the defense sectors listening how to improve current ones and how to add more for better protection with no dragons to take those roles. Stratospher did not like him working so much and often dragged him to see night clouds and Trooper had rarely anything against it. One afternoon Stratospher came to see Trooper excited saying how Itameri had told that there would be a great show in the sky and he wanted to see it but they had to get out of the lair to see them. Before Trooper managed to reply Fen having just walked by with his kelpie told he'd be going to the place with Malvadust to collect some plants and suggested they'd go together. As Starospher plead Trooper he said yes and started to prepare. As the Sun set they started to make their way towards the prophesied place Startospher admiring night clouds as they sat on Malvadust with Fen riding before them with Neva. They eventually reached the place sky looking mostly normal. The show was supposed to start rather late and Trooper and Stratospher tested how many constellations they could name while Fen and Malvadust looked for herbs they were seeking. Eventually weird pinkish purple lightning clouds appeared out of nowhere and all of the dragons were amazed by them having never seen anything like that. Eventually a high scream scared all of them and as they were trying to see what caused it a weird dragon-like creature appeared among the clouds. It had clearly seen them and fired a strong magical lightning at them diving towards them as it hit ground near Malvadust. Neva panicked and galloped away while Malvadust picked faes and they started running the thing right after them. It got stuck on the ground giving them some time to escape before starting a chase. Malvadust was not a strong flier and definitely not fast enough to escape the thing so he ran causing the ride to be rather bumpy. As he jumped off a cliff to glide towards the wood Stratospher fell off the thing immediately going for him. Before the tundra could stop Trooper had jumped off and flied to protect his brother. He reached them just in time covering Stratospher with his own body as the thing's claws cut his back. He asked Stratospher to run hitting the thing with the nearest rock he could find hoping to give him some more time to escape. The thing grabbed Trooper with its claws and while in the air he tried to take flight. He managed to get some control over his movements when a huge surge of power went through him and darkness swallowed him. Trooper woke up in the healing offices where he was greeted by unfamiliar guardian. She explained how long Trooper had been unconscious, which was for too long, what had happened during that time and revealed herself to be his sister Kanerva. While she was explaining the situation and asking him to stay still another unfamiliar dragon arrived to the door. Trooper though soon realized that though he was bigger he still had genes and colors of Stratospher. He explained having changed breed because he was sick of not being able to do much due to his size. Trooper was happy to hear his brother had had courage to do something so drastic and smiled the best he could with still being heavily wrapped. Stratospher visited Trooper every night checking how he was doing and after he had gained back a bit more strength he carried Trooper around the lair. Trooper was still too weak to leave the office and while he was there Witchi came to visit him and gave him a bit more information about what actually had happened, like Stratospher having changed breed having blamed him for what had had happened to Trooper and that Nemo had come back and saved his life. Trooper was surprised that he had totally forgotten his mother and that she had come back but at the same time he was happy to have her back. Witchi had told long ago that she shared his will, or rather he shared hers, to protect what they saw as dear and he felt bad for her getting so much hate. Eventually Trooper was strong enough to leave the office and he and Stratospher promised to celebrate that by watching some night clouds. Before that Trooper though wanted to do something and went to visit Nemo in a sector she was given to guard. He had managed to figure out that Stratospher had changed his breed so Trooper didn't need to protect him like he had done. Trooper though had promised to keep his brother safe and if he changed himself into bigger breed so did he. He managed to find Nemo without problems and asked her to turn him into guardian. She was surprised by his wish but granted it and Trooper rushed to meet his brother being late for their meeting Stratospher was already waiting for him and Trooper greeted him. At first he didn't seem to recognize him but after Trooper started to explain that he could not stop him from keeping his promise he soon connected to dots. Trooper could feel his will to protect Stratospher even stronger than before and Trooper was sure he was his charge. They admired the evening sky like before yet so differently than before. Life after that was rather peaceful the clan being a bit nervous due to Nemo's presence but it didn't cause too much trouble in the clan. Though after Forbidden Portal was opened and its weird creatures arrived to the clan followed by clan's familiars turning hostile most of the clan started to blame Nemo for that. Trooper didn't believe that to be the case and would have wanted to stand up for her mother but problems were just starting. For reasons unknown Silence attacked a random plague dragon Trooper helping Alfa and Tahna keep the clan from ending up into a war with the clan. The clan managed to avoid the war but things were not getting better Nemo having vanished weeks ago and the leaders with their guardians vanishing soon after annual House Cup followed by clan's ambassadors. Wondering what was going on Trooper visited border guards to ask if they had noticed anyone trying to weaker the clan out of the two remaining only Blacksnake remained cooperative Skeleton having become hostile like Silence. He hadn't noticed anything and Trooper asked him to stay sane before returning to the lair checking Stratospher on his way to his nest. Few nights after the disappearance of the high-ranking dragons the clan got an answer to the events when Shadow and her mimic sealed the lair declaring they would sacrifice everyone to summon the Shade. Trooper had no idea of how they could have been able to predict that, other than atmosphere rewarding spying which Trooper did not like, and feeling like being unable to do anything in the lair he being unable to exit it he focused in keeping the clan calm in absence of authority acting as supporters for Karmiini, Julius and Kupari. As the day of the summoning arrived Trooper was with Stratospher not letting anyone to touch him as long as he was alive both waiting the Sun to be eclipsed. As the Sun was eclipsed a wyvern similar to what had attacked the brothers when Nemo had returned arrived it taking control over all the dragon making them fight each other after they refused to submit to Them. During the short fight Trooper was forced to hit Startospher and after being freed he made sure to get his older brother safe before going to help others even though he could walk just fine. Trooper decided to stay out of the battles happening and once it was all over he had still power to do what was needed to get the lair back to its feet. The clan had though gotten enough reinforcements to do most of the work and Karmiini asked him to make sure the leaders got to rest. Things started to return back to normal slowly after the incident Trooper making sure the clan's evacuation routes were still functional after clan's layout was altered Kolari helping to dig new tunnels. After that was done he checked the defense sectors Louhi volunteering to take Nemo's place she having died during the battles while the other two kept their places. After that Alfa decided to retire due to his injury Julius taking his job for time being Trooper, who had apparently been an option, already being busy with his job. After that Trooper worked with Tinker to avoid anything like that happening ever again along with keeping the outside defense the best it could be.
Things remained mostly peaceful following the Summoning Incident. Three defense sectors had turned to four after fairies enslaved Oberon and Astor because they angered a gem guardian during shadow’s holiday, Pahatar tried to take over the clan by brainwashing residents in their dreams, Shadow and Sapny returned to apologize and Noonan, Kanerva’s replacement, was exiled due to her causing more harm than good but otherwise things remained normal. At least there was no prolonged period of time when a lot of was wrong but no one knew why. Earth’s holiday was about to start when Yannis came to have a word with Trooper. Upon getting the defense director’s attention the bounty hunter was fast to take an informative and quite serious stand as he told that Pahatar had places bounties on three residents, and they were not small ones. One of the wanted dragons was clan’s poet Richard who had recently published a poem collection which had given the clan some publicity. That meant that the possibility of bounty hunters arriving to the clan was quite high and it could be bad for everyone. Trooper asked Yannis, and his rainbowbeast, to inform border guards about the situation along with the warriors, guards, rangers and Silence. He also asked to keep the names of the wanted dragons as secret from the ones who didn’t need that information. They could not risk any of the residents trying to make some quick buck. After that the three split up to inform the relevant parties. The leaders had talked about the situation alone and Trooper informed what he had done once they were done. They decided to inform the clan that bounty hunters were not friends, except Yannis, and that clan’s defense was increased. Beyond that things were kept vague and Trooper did his best to not slip sensitive information when someone tried to dig that up. Otherwise he spent his time staying up to date with how defenders were doing and helping guards by keeping an eye on who was inside the lair. That worked for weeks, then one bounty hunter found one massive hole in clan’s defense; the Starwood Gate. Trooper had just woken up and he was preparing to get to work when he had spotted Yannis talk with an unfamiliar dragon. Considering what the situation had been for weeks it was easy to make a guess that they were one of his bounty hunter buddies. Trooper had stopped to follow the situation and as the clan woke up more and more dragons arrived to watch the foreigner. Judging by how Yannis’ beast acted the situation was not as friendly as it looked and Kalani approached the three weapon in hand. Eventually the foreign bounty hunter acted and the red ice warrior leaped forward to help the other red mirror. As the battle started the residents hid while the guards and warriors stayed to act if needed. Trooper signed them to wait, as of yet there was no need to send everyone to the battle. That was when Max sneaked closer to the battle. The gloomy coatl was not a warrior of any kind and Trooper couldn’t really figure out what he was planning to do. Curious he allowed the coatl go forth and he used crystallization spell to petrify the foreign bounty hunter. Alfa went to see what the situation was his guardian Obsidius just behind him. The leader ordered the mirrors to get themselves checked along with the beast. Max attempted to leave the scene and Trooper who had started to approach the prisoner asked him to wait. He could not just solve the battle and walk away like it didn’t even happen. Kronk, clan’s jailer and guard, approached the prisoner as well and Trooper had an idea of what he was about to say. Due to the current situation in the clan, he was busy guarding the entrances and the lair as a whole and he couldn’t really keep an eye on the statue. The bounty hunter was petrified and in theory there was no need to guard them, no one had ever broken free from the spell. It though was better to be safe than sorry, and though petrified the dragon was still sentient and being alone as a crystal statue could drive anyone crazy. It was a fate Trooper didn’t wish even for his worst enemies. Though Kronk was busy Max was anything but, and he knowing the petrification spell meant he was good fit for temporary jailer role. The coatl had nothing against that. After that was settled Trooper and Alfa started to wonder from where the bounty hunter had come from. Yannis told that the hunter had said having come from the Starwood lair and the two, plus Obsidius, went to check how things were in the old lair. There Abele was not that thrilled to see them, as expected, but she told that the visitor had walked through and used the portal. They had not caused any harm to lair’s residents, besides annoying Abele with their presence. Trooper and Alfa took a look at the gate trying to figure out what to do with it. If one bounty hunter had used it, it was possible that others would follow, and none of the dragons had any idea of how to prevent that with such a short notice. Trooper and Alfa decided to think about solutions once the situation calmed down and until then they decided to deactivate the portals. Alfa helped to fill the storage in the old lair while Trooper returned to the current lair. The clan had decided to held a trial to their “visitor” the following night and he decided to rest before that. The next night Karmiini had decided to wipe memory of the bounty hunter but keep them in the lair as prisoner because releasing them was risky due to current situation. Trooper and many others hoped things would get better after that but that was not the case, far from that. The following afternoon one of the wanted dragons went missing and the leaders wanted her to be found as soon as possible. Meanwhile Trooper heard reports that the border guards were growing exhausted by the hunters who tried to find ways in. It was only matter of time before someone of them slipped. Trooper tried to figure out what they could do the bounties. They could not pay Pahatar to get rid of them, Tinker would have clawed Trooper’s horns out of his head if he even thought about that. In theory they could have attacked the chatelaine or they could have sent one of their assassins after her but they were both beyond risky plans. Some kind of solution was found after an unexpected and odd conference which had been demanded by clan’s five, somewhat new, guardian spirits. They wanted to exile Naru, a mage who was playing with dimensional magic and who had kidnapped Finlande, one of the wanted dragons, to use her powers for her experiments. She left on her own but she took her prisoner with her and the clan could not do much for that. After that Marjatta, the third wanted dragon, decided to move out of the lair and Richard did something similar but temporarily. While the poet had been gone the leaders had asked to lower the defense a little bit so the hunters got to see that their targets were no longer in the lair and with that they went elsewhere. Though that meant rest for both the border guards and the residents Trooper had still a lot of work to do. There was an issue with the jailer position and the issue was that Kronk might not be able to do jailer and ambassador job at the same time even though the latter one was very easy work to do. That was solved by making Max take the jailer job. After that there was the gate problem. Trooper and Alfa had reopened the gates and though there had been plenty of time neither still had any idea how to make the Dreamwood Gate attack proof. Abele had some but they were about what not to do. Someone though had an idea and that was Ayla. Once Trooper had returned from the Starwood lair to brainstorm some ideas in his nest the shadow ambassador had rushed to him and suggested a trivia lock to the gate. She explained what it exactly was and after that she helped Trooper to implement it. She even helped to brainstorm questions to that. Trooper informed about the change to the leaders who brought that up during next update conference. After that Trooper decided to relax a little bit and went to watch night clouds with Stratospher. It had been a while since he was able to do that.

  Name origin: His primary color was "navy" so Finlandia looked for army related names and ended up shortening the name from "star trooper".

Traits
Trooper is an arcane guardian with navy iridescent body and pink wings with similar properties. He has small dark pink spine row between his bigger and duller spines starting between his somewhat large horns and continuing all the way to the tip of his tail and he has extra rows on both sides of his neck. Trooper was originally a fae and is a bit small and fragile looking because of that and his cheek fins are rather large. His beard though is small often being plait during which it is barely thicker than his arm when he was a fae and it can't reach his nose. He also tends to keep it short by his own will. Trooper was severely wounded during an attack that acted as one of the reasons for his breed change and he still has scars decorating his body all around. His eyes have turned slightly darker with age. As a fae Trooper often wore an oversized armor set but after the breed change he changed his style as well. Instead of trying to look like a peacekeeper he is aiming for more of mediator look. It is rather simple having dark blue beret with grey feather, black and dark blue jacket, socks and gloves all with golden margins and black wraps warming up his wings and tail that are relatively much bigger than what they were when he was fae and he has noticed having hard time keeping them warm the lightning having hit him contributing to that. Trooper's voice was very childlike it being high and squishy. He also had very enthusiastic and fast way of talking but it was not that hard to understand. His voice got a bit deeper with breed change though it still has clear hints of his past and his way of speaking barely changed beyond getting slightly slower. Trooper used intonations even when a fae while his crest were just an addition being used if distance was too much. Loosing them barely affected Troopers way of communicating. He has mild British accent.
Trooper is very loyal dragon and cares a lot of his clan working a lot for it and he is a common dragon in gathering groups. He also has strong will to protect those he sees near and works a lot to make his clan mates feel safe. Though not liking idea of all out battle against anything he spends a lot of time making strategies in case of those and makes sure his clan mates know about those too. Out of all the dragons Trooper has a very close bond with his older brother Stratospher and has taken the duty to make sure no one ever tries to use or hurt him because of his distant head-in-clouds personality. Trooper used to looks up to guardians and really appreciated their charge culture but at the same time he didn't want to be one as he wanted to feel like the size doesn’t matter but the heart. After Stratospher though changed his breed making him too big for Trooper to protect he decided to become the ones he looked up to. His size also almost got him killed during the attack and he didn't want to take risks of being too small to protect others again. Trooper is social, enthusiastic and optimistic dragon. He spends a lot of time with others and has a bad habit of being interested about others’ problems. He used to be very naive thinking that fights were all bad and the parties should stop immediately and forgive each others regardless of the reasons. That though caused Trooper to be avoided and hated and wanting to be as good mediator as possible he changed his methods and worked to redeem himself. He can still come across as a bit childish dragon time to time getting a bit too excited over serious things but he has learned to think and listen more and actually uses his head when making decisions instead of having a prerecorded answer to all problems. Trooper has chosen to be without a familiar after hearing Stratospher is not getting one. Trooper doesn’t have anything against companies and would most likely want one but sees that to be unfair to his brother. He also thinks he can better take care of him if he doesn’t have others trying to compete with him to gain attention for any reason.
Trooper is not a mage and it is very uncommon to see him casting any kind of spells nor does he pay attention to the magic around him. If Trooper uses magic he is most likely using a simple teleportation spell to move from one place to another. He learned that spell from Atlantic when the two were trying to figure out what kind of defense system their clan would need and outside of checking clan’s defense sectors Trooper doesn’t use the spell at all. He rather works with his arms. As a fae he was physically rather strong but after the breed change he is weaker compared to other guardians due to his past of being a fae. |
