Biography
When Skye hatched he was first greeted by his older sister Fea. She told him and only him how she was the oldest child of the founders and thus the leader of the clan and he should obey her because of that. Skye listened her for few nights before getting really sick of her. He didn’t accept how he was supposedly lesser than her especially when the clan had been founded by a male and thus the leadership should be given to him. Fea didn’t accept that and the two started arguing. Neither of them was ready to give up and eventually Benizakura and Aqua had to separate them. After learning how he was a child of the founders, out of who he was only able to see his father, Skye tried to rise in ranks but he was stopped by Benizakura who told younger dragon how he was the clan’s leader. Skye disagreed saying despite him being older than he or Fea he was not related to the founders and not even arcane dragon and thus was not suited to lead the clan. Benizakura though didn’t care about Skye’s opinion and left the fae. Skye was offended by that and when about a week later Benizakura had children both Skye and Fea tried to teach them to hate the pearlcatcher and to hammer home which one of them was the leader but with no success. Later the clan received few new members: Kaamos the tundra, Obsidius the guardian and Breeze the spiral. At first Skye was happy to have more dragons to admire him but he soon started to wish the guests would have never arrived. Excluding Kaamos they made constantly fun of him making him look like a joke. If there though was something good with their stupid behavior it was that they also trolled Fea too. Some time later the clan grew even larger after two three egg nests hatched. Skye really wanted them to serve him or at least one to be his servant. Kaamos’ children didn’t qualify as most of them were females which Skye didn’t like and the only male Nova was clearly stupid and Skye didn’t expect him to become anything. When it came to Obsidius’ children his sons didn’t even care about Skye who was too small to them. His daughter Morgana though cared a lot about Skye and he hated that. The guardian was very strict on how dragons should behave and even dared to use brute force if Skye didn’t listen to her. Fea seemed to have survived better and used young tundra Arctica to do her work and not allowing that Skye tried to steal her with no success. Some time later Benizakura left the clan and Skye having had to live in his shadow saw his chance of becoming the leader. Things though didn’t go according to Skye’s plan and he had to compete for the crown against Fea and few other dragons, from who the biggest threat was Benizakura’s grandson Nobu. Things turned from bad to worse when the clan received a move order from the Observatory and Skye really wanted to be the one to lead the move but fell sick just before the move was supposed to take place. After the move the clan received some visitors in form of clearly stupid Parcha and a nobody Tinker. Skye didn’t care about either of them though that changed fast after Tinker took control in the clan and showed everyone what kind of coward his mother Nemo was by having enchanted his father Alfa to stay guarding her little hide. Skye started to admire the strict female and stopped Fea when she tried to approach their guest. When she called him a traitor he explained how much good Tinker had done by showing Fea her real place in the clan. Fea was defeated and she exited the scene by slapping Skye’s face with her tail. Skye didn’t mind that and left to thank Tinker. 
After Tinker took the leadership Skye tried to get to her good side but the ridgeback didn’t really care about him at the moment. She was busy trying to organize the lair and not allowing anyone to idle she was constantly ordering other dragons to work. Skye was happy to obey her but usually got tired by his work quite fast and tried to make others do his work and usually targeted young fae Stratospher but he rarely did anything for Skye. Sometime later Skye was shocked when he found out that Nova had been promoted to be clan’s arcane ambassador which pretty much granted him more power than what he had as the heir of the leadership. To top that Morgana had an idea of building him a observatory to celebrate his promotion. That meant Skye had to work a lot and he didn’t want to do that at all but he did that anyway when Tinker ordered him. He though tried to make others to do his work with no success. Soon after the observatory was finished Skye noticed some of his clan mates started to act weirdly. Tinker who had finally allowed Skye to stay close to her was concerned about that but Skye wasn’t worried. Some time after that it was revealed that those nervous dragons were planning a revolution and they were captured after one female among them goofed up. To Skye’s surprise Fea was not one of the revolution group members which he found a bit sad. She though knew how Nobu was one of the original members of the group and Skye was fast to blame her to be part of the group after all. She didn’t deny being part of them at first but she left when they started planning hurting her parents. Skye got offended when she dared to call him selfish but couldn’t answer her when Tinker ordered him to be quiet. Some time after the trial Skye was able to have some hatchlings with Tinker. The nest though was a bit disappointment to Skye as out of three hatchlings only one was male. He though was dream to him as he had inherited his beautiful genes. Skye taught his son who he called Vengel how he and he as his son were the heir of the leadership after Skye’s father who had dared to take the lead after abandoning it at first would retire. Skye was a bit disappointed when Vengel pointed out he didn’t care about leading but he though supported his son when he tried to make others look lesser than him and ended up in an argument with a bit sick Fea because of that. Fea had been sick since the trial ended and though she had already healed she tried to make others serve her by pretending to be still sick. Skye didn’t like that and when he noticed one night Fea trying to make Stratospher do her work he came to tell Fea to stop. Fea being stupid didn’t listen and started to complain about things to Skye. The two started to argue once again when they were being interrupted by a young fae Trooper. He asked them to forget their dispute and forgive each other and though Skye was offended by younger dragon’s order he didn’t bother saying anything to him. He seemed like he couldn’t understand even if they explained him and listening him to lecture about forgiving almost drove him crazy. Skye soon started avoiding Fea just to avoid ending up in contact with Trooper. That worked for some time till dragons at the Observatory decided that clan should move to the Focal Point. Skye was happy to move somewhere high and being closer to the Observatory gave much recognition but he changed his mind when he was put to pack clan’s items with other faes. Skye didn’t like doing so pathetic job, Fea tried to give her jobs to him and Trooper started to preach about forgiveness if the two started arguing and they were supervised by Morgana and Skye hated it all. It took about a week to move clan’s stuff to the new location and Skye was sure they could have done that in half of time if Fea hadn’t been such a pain to deal with. Skye just couldn’t take a break from his sister as the clan thought they needed a smithy for their new blacksmith and he and Fea were ordered to participate in building it. Only reason why Skye didn’t quit was because Tinker had asked him to work with the project. The same night they started building the smithy the clan held a conference to think name for the clan. Skye wanted to name the clan something in lines of ”sky” but others seemed to notice he actually tried to name the clan after himself. Fea was very vocal about that and Skye made sure her suggestions were not chosen either. The name that was chosen was ”Polar Sky” suggested by Breeze and though it included ”sky” Skye was not pleased with it as his name was clearly not the inspiration with it. Though Polar Sky was the official name of the clan Skye decided to call it Skyelia and annoyed many of his clan mates by doing that. After the smithy was finally finished Skye decided he didn’t want to work ever again. He tried to make others do his work be that either taking his place in gatherings or bringing him some food but that rarely worked due the size difference. That forced Skye to boss other faes and because of that often ended up arguing with Fea. Skye had noticed she had started to spend time with a serthis and decided to ask if the snake lady would carry him. Fea being annoying as usual started complaining and the two dragons started arguing like they always did. Their argument ended when the serthis slapped an octopus into his face. Skye felt humiliated by that and some of his clan mates even dared to reminded him about that every now and then. Jealous to Fea he sneaked to the place where clan’s familiars spent their time and stole a dodo for himself. There was not specific reason why he chose the dodo other than it looked cool and would make a great mount to him. Though he didn’t care much about his steed he was very upset when he lost the bird for Skugga after one of her games. He took a semi large risk in stealing it back from his and Tinker’s great granddaughter but he didn’t want to start walking after getting used to riding the bird. Some time after that the clan started building an inn and though not really wanting Skye was forced to participate. While carrying nails for his clan mates he heard how Vengel had given up in his little competition with a foreign female. Skye didn’t like that as he saw most females either annoying, rude or useless and admitting defeat to a female was shame to his name. He approached his son to give him some tips for his battle about what he didn’t even knew anything about. To Skye’s surprise however Vengel didn’t want to hear his father’s tips and after a short argument Vengel left Skye avoiding him whenever possible and if they were in the same situation he ignored Skye fully. Skye, after recovering from his confusion, was offended by that and started to treat his son the same way.
Skye was a bit nervous after Vengel had denied him and tried to get recognition from Tinker. The ridgeback rarely ever noticed him despite him trying to do her bidding and even bringing some food to her. Skye’s actions seemed to have some effect as Tinker allowed him to participate in building a temple which she denied from Fea. Skye was proud of that even though his job was mainly to collect stones and keep the building ground clean. Skye though had to share that work with his older litter mate Siren and he felt like she distracted other dragons from his great work. He tried to order her to leave, which wasn’t very hard, and when anyone asked about her he told she was probably idling. One night she though disappeared not being seen even the following night. Skye felt like others expected him to be worried but he wasn’t. Now that she was gone he was able to work to impress Tinker but sadly she went to look for Siren and wasn’t even seeing him working and annoyed by that Skye started lazing in his work. Siren was later found in the light domain and brought back home some time before Skye’s youngest sister Tropi was turned to nocturne and lost her mind. The clan held an emergency conference because of that but it didn’t help the situation much. No one had any idea of who had casted the breed change but Fea suggested Tinker which made Skye believe she was the one behind all this and tried to rig Tinker. Skye was a bit worried she might breed change him, taking note how Tropi’s mind had changed after her’s, to get rid of him and become the leader. Skye was on a very skittish state the following nights and almost freaked out when Halloween dared to scare him after having already stopped that habit. Nights passed without anything major happening, except when group of centaurs entered the lair and brought Julius, who had run away after his litter mate’s transformation, back home. Julius was Skye’s brother but he didn’t know or care about him that much and so he assumed that Tropi’s breed change was caused by siblings playing with scrolls and screwing up leading him to run away. The idea sounded good in Skye’s head and he dared to let his guard down as freaking out all the time made him look stupid. Things carried as normal for a very long time and Skye was finally able to spend some time with Tinker. Problem though was the fact that Tinker was very busy most of the time and Skye tried often make others do her job with not much success. Instead that led him arguing with Fea and Morgana among few others quite often and Tinker had to interrupt them. Skye was happy to get some attention from the ridgeback especially when it was so hard to get otherwise. He kept ordering others and if they were not in the mood of listening him he was more than happy to start arguing with them. He especially tried to make females make work for him or Tinker but most of the time they seemed a bit offended and left him taking his chance of arguing. If he couldn’t find girls to order Skye tried those who had argued with Fea. That led him to a weird situation when he approached young spiral called Saana who had argued with his sister not that long ago. Skye felt like younger dragon tried to flirt with him making him feel awkward and then made full turnabout when Skye said she was not better than Tinker and turned into a querulous drama queen before rage quitting leaving Skye confused. Later clan’s Gossip Queen Witchi hinted Skye that Fea was questioning if she wanted to be the leader at all making Skye very happy. He came to taunt her and though she denied having thought of giving up her status she didn’t use her heir of the leadership -card once when Skye annoyed her making him believe what the Gossip Queen had said was true. He got the official proof when after having approached young tundra Skeleton and having had his bones broken by sadistic plague dragon. He had been in almost finished temple in healing offices recovering when Fea had come to see him. She had mocked him at first but then told she didn’t want the leadership. Skye had celebrated the best he could with his broken bones when she left and after recovering enjoyed Fea’s yielding whenever he saw her.
Having won the battle against his sister Skye started to prop up his position. That though turned out to be a lot harder than he had expected as most of the dragons didn’t pay any attention to him and then there were females who seemed to get very offended when he told them what to do. Saana acted like she would do what Skye asked but she demanded praise from him first and did that all the time now that she had turned herself into a pearlcatcher. Then there was a young bogsneak Sisi who always became very angry when he talked to her and the problem always seemed to be that he was a male. She was very similar to her mother Rusty and Skye blamed her for raising Sisi to be a jerk that making Sisi even more angry towards him. Skye’s fights with Sisi caught Morgana’s eye and she asked if he had any sympathy for younger dragon who had recently lost both her mother and sister. Skye didn’t care about guardian's opinion and just ignored that leading Saana to praise his bravery. Skye ran from the creepy pearlhugger to Tinker who had heard about his behavior and asked about reasons. Skye told that as the oldest son of the clan founders he was the heir of the leadership and others should obey him because of that. He didn’t need to show sympathy as that would make him look weak and lesser than he was. Skye got angry when Tinker mentioned how that attitude reminded her about his parents, especially his mother. Skye hated to be compared to his mother out of all dragons especially after she had left the clan so long ago. His father also wasn’t someone he wanted to be compared to and started to think how he could finally take his father’s place. He thought maybe he could convince him to retire as Alfa was already a very old dragon and spent his nights mostly idling. One night Skye was planning how to suggest that to Alfa when Saana came once again demand attention from him. Skye tried to ride away with his dodo when swarming not that far away caught his eye. He rode to see what was going on and arrived just in time to witness a young ridgeback Blacksnake challenge Alfa to a battle. Though Blacksnake challenged the older mirror to a battle to take his place as the leader Skye didn’t consider him to be a threat to him as he was not related to the founders. Skye hoped he would win the older dragon and make him retire that way saving him from the effort. Skye though was shocked when Alfa won with no problems despite being slightly smaller than the ridgeback. His attacks were very accurate and fast and he moved fast and nimbly not to speak how strong his very few hits were. Skye was a bit disappointed by the result and after thinking about it for some time he came to conclusion that Alfa was not ready to retire yet and he had to keep waiting for his turn. After the battle Skye kept doing the usual trying to make others do his and Tinker’s work but he had noticed Fea having started avoiding him. Skye really wanted her to serve him and was very confused when she flied away when he tried to approach her. Usually she had stayed there to argue with him and Skye was confused when she no longer did that. Skye thought it was because she no longer wanted the leadership and Skye was happy about that but having to run after her to order her annoyed him and he soon stopped bothering his older sister and moved to boss others that didn’t run away. Skye though kept his eye on his older sister and some time after the Night of the Nocturne had ended, when rumors about Nova were flying wild, he noticed her spending time with a foreign dragon. She looked familiar but Skye was not able to recall who she was. She though wore very fancy scholar clothes and he was able to tell she was from the Observatory which made him somewhat nervous. She though seemed to be here only because of the issue with the arcane ambassador and left as soon as it was solved. During the farewell moment Skye noticed that Fea and the scholar were very close and was sure they were more than friends. He tried to ”ask” Fea about that but she still kept running away him and Skye gave up being able to call his sister lesbian to her face.
Later Skye was witnessing Blacksnake’s rematch against Alfa but because the size difference his body guard Obsidius fought in his place. Obsidius was not a smart dragon but Blacksnake couldn’t use that to his advantage and lost yet again. Skye was disappointed by that as Alfa was still allowed to keep his status. Skye had hoped that younger dragon had overthrown him and taken the leadership but because he was so hot-headed his clan mates would not have liked him and Skye would have been able to take the leadership because of that. Not long after that things though looked good for him when clan’s nature ambassador Glade wounded Alfa and Skye found himself hoping he would retire because of that. After healing Alfa left the clan and Skye was very happy but his joy was killed by Tinker who had been very distant lately and refused to let Skye near her making Skye very confused. To Skye’s disappointment it turned out that Alfa had with few other dragons traveled to the Viridian Labyrinth to do something and had not stepped down. Some time after that things in the clan turned out interesting when Tinker managed to capture his mother Nemo who he had thought had left the clan long ago. Skye wanted to talk about how, where and how Tinker had captured her but the ridgeback didn’t want to interact with him at all and even Morgana avoided him and Skye started to get frustrated with the situation. He hadn’t talk with Tinker once when the clan decided to hold a trial for Nemo. Skye was on a bad mood because he had not been told about the trial until Azul had brought the conference invitation. He would have loved to make up indictments against his mother. Feeling mad Skye tried to get close to Tinker when the clan was arriving to the conference area but she looked at him so angry that he decided to sit somewhere else. Skye listened when Tinker read indictments against Nemo silently as he didn’t want to anger her as she kept gazing him coldly. The indictments included all three of the breed changes about which Skye didn’t care about, the two revolutions that were prevented, all the disappearances and the crystal creature some months back among few things that were asked about during the interrogation. Skye himself blamed her to having enchanted Alfa to be her servant in the first lair which she denied saying she didn’t want to stuck with him to begin with. Tinker then proceed to ask the founder about Skye’s modified love which confused him greatly. Before she could answer Breeze shouted from the crowd saying it was his doing. He had added some philter to the bug he had bring to Skye before Tinker stormed the clan and admitted it might have been a bit too strong. Skye became even more confused when Nemo noted that it had not been strong enough. Confused Skye didn’t hear the rest of the interrogation but joined the show once planning the punishment started. He was the first one to suggest anything and thought slavery would have be great for that slave queen. Fea who had been supporting Nemo the entire trial didn’t like the idea at all and though she should not be punished leading the two faes arguing loudly. In the end Skye ended up being the only one to support the idea of slavery and his idea lost to Trooper’s idea of making Nemo one of the border guards. Skye felt like the criminal had just been promoted but was so heavily outnumbered that he didn’t bother protesting. After the trial Skye stopped spending time with Tinker. He wasn’t sure if his feelings were real or not and Tinker had made sure she no longer wanted to interact with him. Last time he spoke with her was when she came to ask about his mother to which he answered he had not seen her since Tinker came to the clan. After that Skye kept bossing others to make himself feel better with his confusion.
Skye was a bit lost after the trial. He spent some time thinking what he should do with Tinker she no longer wanting to deal with him for a reason he seemed to have forgotten. After thinking about it he came to conclusion that he didn't need Tinker anymore she having only held him down and now that he was free from whatever it was he should stop asking for attention. At first that made Skye feel good but after Nobu died Saana heard that he no longer was in "relationship" with Tinker and wanted to be with him. Skye still didn't like the pearlhugger and stayed far away from her. Life was awful for Skye he waiting Alfa or even Tinker to retire so he could get the spot and stop being ordered to dig up some bugs. Neither of them though showed any signs of thinking about stepping down and frustrated Skye took it out whoever he managed to approach as long as that wasn't Saana. He rarely managed to approach anyone they leaving him to either talk to his dodo like it could understand him or nearby trees until Saana saw him wanting company and rode away. Months after the life had been the same night after night Nemo who had probably altered everyone's memory when she had ran away returned. Skye wanted her to be sent to the Fortress of Ends but he was shocked, along with rest of the clan, when Alfa and Karmiini let her stay Skye blaming the daughter of Benizakura for the awful decision. She was made a border guard and Skye blamed her when months later an old portal was opened its ugly creatures causing clan's animals act hostile making Skye lose his stead. After that things in the lair kept getting weirder few residents starting to act weird that leading both Alfa and Tinker to disappear along with their guardians. Alfa used to make some raid journeys but both Tinker and Morgana spent a lot of time in the lair and them both being missing at the same time caused a lot of confusion in the lair. Due to lack of leaders Karmiini, Julius and Kupari started bossing others around Skye claiming they took his spot. Karmiini though dared to criticize him for not acting fast enough. Few afternoons after leaders' disappearance Shadow and Sapny showed themselves saying they were going to summon the Shade in few afternoons with Megabrain and Glade and offered to grant wishes to everyone who revealed potentially dangerous residents to them before the day. Skye didn't know if Fea wanted to avenge their parents the mages being most likely behind Alfa's absent but he remembered her having been part of the revolution group in the previous lair and considered it possible. The mages and Glade were absent but Skye was able to find Megabrain next to his cauldron. He managed to avoid Saana approaching him as he arrived to the alchemist and told that Fea could be threat to them. The younger fae didn't ask for more information and teleported Fea in front of both of them before turning her into a webwing with his weird stuff. Seeing that made Skye happy but that was short lived Saana arriving to the scene claiming that Skye, as leaders' son and ex, was a threat and he was met with same fate as Fea before he could escape. Next thing Skye knew was that he was in healing offices he having been told that he had been a ragepuff. He did not know if he had been outrageous when in that form because the species and the familiar rage spell but Fea for sure was after the events beating Skye up with her serthis slave almost as soon as they both left the offices Skye needing to spend there few more nights. While he had been a bird the clan had managed to prevent summoning of the Shade and many had wounded or died among them being Nemo. Due to the scope of the events it took a long time before clan life returned normal Skye having been long out of offices when they decided to hold a conference. They went through what had happened and how it affected the clan before getting to the meat of the meeting: Alfa was retiring. Skye was beyond happy already seeing himself in his place but that bubble was soon popped when both Alfa and Tinker agreed Julius should take that spot. Skye did not allow that as that place belonged him as the oldest son and the fact that Julius didn't seem to want the place added to that. Karmiini though repeated what she had said when leaders were missing about taking action and Julius said he didn't say he did not want the place. He just needed time to let his thoughts calm down. Skye asked why he could not be leader till they calmed down no one accepting that suggestion Tinker saying that change was only temporary. Alfa would take his place back once he was healed from his wounds. Skye did not agree with the clan but was pretty much alone against the clan and had to bow. Alfa stepped down and Julius stepped up Skye refusing to accept either of them higher than him both during and after Julius' reign and that included Tinker too. He was mad that he had had opportunity to become the leader but it had been denied from him. If something good from what had happened in the lair it was that Saana having been hit by Megabrain's liquid stayed far away from everyone because she looked ugly.

  Name origin: Skye was blue in color so naming him after "sky" was rather obvious to Finlandia.

Traits
Skye is blue arcane fae who looks like having a mild grayish filter on his scales. His main body is pale with darker and lighter markings all across it and a striped tail while his wings are darker with dark blotches around them. His crests, frills and ears are relatively large when compared to his head. They don’t move often but they are not stuck either. Most of the time they just sign his constant arrogance and if they move they usually sign his irritation when ending up in an argument though that tends to be rare. He has common pink eyes. Skye’s clothes are as black and white as his ideals. He is often compared to his older sister Fea much to his annoyance and to differ from her primitive look he prefers cool and modern leather. Though not flying much especially when his mount can’t fly he likes to wear aviator clothes including jacket, gloves, boots and tail and wing guards as they make him feel fancy. Taking note how much he rides with his dodo it makes sense for him to wear a helmet despite not liking to look like a wimp but the actual reason for it and his goggles might be to keep his face safe from Fea’s serthis. That makes a lot of sense as he didn’t wear those until being hit to face by an octopus by the serthis. Out of all clothes Skye wears his satchel makes the least amount of sense as he doesn’t use it nor is it known to hold anything. Some say he keeps his badge cleaning tools in there as the fae's badge having ”the best” written on it is always shining but Skye isn’t that type of dragon who would clean anything for any reason. Many wish Skye’s voice was more monotone than it already is. Skye has very deep voice when compared to other faes and it is relatively monotone but not enough as his arrogance and bossy attitude can be heard way too easily from his voice. He is known to know common body language but he is too arrogant to use that when interacting with other breeds and forces them to read his crest if they want to understand him fully. Sadly all his crests tell is that he is feeling arrogant, always.
Skye is bossy and arrogant dragon who is proud of being the first male to hatch in the clan. He doesn’t like doing work and is commonly seen ordering others to do them for him, especially females are his targets. He is known to be a male chauvinist pig and is often crossing swords with clan's many females usually ending up losing simply because of his size and mild lack of intelligence. Skye is not known to be very smart and is often laughed at when he seriously boasts about something he has no hope in achieving. Skye doesn’t like jokes and gets offended easily if he notices he is target of a joke. He thinks that as the heir of the leadership he should be above of being joked about and usually ends up making himself even bigger joke when he tries to hammer that home to his clan mates. Unlike his older sister Fea Skye doesn’t care about his kin a lot. He thinks he is better than everyone else because he is the first son of the founders but doesn’t give them any credit nor does he respect them. In fact he feels like being better off without them. Only dragon who Skye kind of cared about was Tinker but that was mostly because of philter he was given back then. His feelings for her though were not fully selfless as there was a good junk of will of feeling high ranking by being close to the high ranking dragon along with feeling of being liked by her specifically. Skye is often seen somewhat close to a dodo. He hasn’t named it nor does he really care about it. It is not sentient in a sense that it would understand speech and Skye uses it mainly to move from one place to another. It is a mount and only a mount to him and he calls it whenever he is not feeling like flying to anywhere by himself. If something positive about Skye’s treatment towards his companion then at least it has fancy equipment.
Though an arcane fae Skye isn’t very good with magic. He doesn’t like doing any work and that includes magic too and because of that he hasn’t practices magic a lot. He knows how to make a nest for himself and can move some stuff but it needs to be something he could lift with his muscles too making magic kind of useless for him. Then again Skye doesn’t care to use magic much and doesn’t want to see effort in learning to use magic properly. He though can sense magic very well though he finds it annoying. |
