Biography

Morgana was the youngest of her litter having two older brothers and stupid parents. Morgana found her parents’ jolly nature annoying and after coming to conclusion that they with their jokes did no good for the clan she started to demand seriousness from them. They though did not take her seriously and Morgana started to feel embarrassed for being their child.

Morgana tried to speak sense to her parents but they just told her to stop being so tense. Frustration grew inside Morgana till she eventually couldn’t take it and hit her mother. She was already larger than Aqua and clearly hurt the mirror badly but Morgana didn’t took the situation seriously because her mother didn’t do that either. She hitting her mother killed the stupid smile off from Obsidius’ face but he still asked Morgana to relax after which she hit him too.

Aqua left soon after which Morgana saw as sign of weakness but didn’t really pay mind to that. She was busy correcting her clan mates because Benizakura, being the incompetent leader he was, couldn’t keep his clan in check and even faes dared to order dragons bigger than them. Especially Fea and Skye, clearly siblings, were stubborn and Morgana had to use force to make them obey. The clan had only one reasonable dragon and that was Benizakura’s daughter Karmiini. The pearlcatcher kept her emotions hidden and solved clan’s many disputes without ever getting mad. Morgana wanted to join her to make the clan more ideal but probably because of Morgana’s own inability to hold her anger the grey dragon wasn’t interested.

Morgana though couldn’t be bothered by that for long when she met with the bane of her existence. Little worm Breeze was the most irritating dragon in the clan beating easily Obsidius with who he was friends. Morgana had wanted to have few words with the plague dragon but the maggot was too fast for her. Eventually one night after had had few words with Benizakura Morgana was about to leave but stumbled to a rope, which had not been there moment before, falling to a pile of bugs. While she was trying to stay calm she saw Breeze close by laughing saying how she should watch her steps. Mad Morgana tried to catch the worm but stumbled to the rope, this time with her hind legs.

After that Breeze started to prank Morgana almost every night and even hearing the cestoda's name made her see red. One evening Morgana had once again talked with Karmiini when she had noticed Obsidius' big black body was nowhere to be seen on a small peak and started to look for him when the maggot was right next to her claws. She tried to catch him and after seeing him escaping into a hole she thought she had him. She tried to claw him out and lowered her face to maybe see him in the dark hole but all she found was a balloon full of paint that bursted to her face.

Cussing every god she could name Morgana lifted her head to wipe the paint off when she saw Obsidius flying to the Peak. Not wanting him to get away she rushed to him. She asked where he had been assuming he had been lazing off struggling to maintain her anger as he tried to hold his laugh. He told he had been enjoying flying as he was a wind dragon though Morgana doubted any region had sharp winds to explain small scratches around her father’s body. She reminded him about desiring fun being sign of weakness and left as soon as possible feeling like losing her cool any minute. After cleaning her face she went to look for Benizakura who had not shown his face since sundown.

Benizakura had returned after the clan had gone to sleep and upon waking up Morgana attempted to approach him when he called everyone to hear him. Morgana hated how mentally beaten he looked but didn’t say anything about that noticing Karmiini’s critical eyes. Benizakura went straight to the point and told everyone that he was going to retire and move to another peak for time being. Morgana despised Benizakura’s decision but at the same time she understood why a weak dragon like him would step down. She watched as the light dragon left the Peak listening how few faes talked about not needing to work anymore. Morgana had other plans.

The clan fell into chaos as soon as Benizakura had left dragons trying to fill the hole he had left. Morgana didn’t like how childish everyone was acting and tried to keep them acting like dragons should. No one though wanted to listen to her saying she was not in charge. That angered Morgana who saw herself as the most civilized dragon in the clan and answered opposition with words and claws. That didn’t do good for her status and many used her anger issues against her, especially Nobu was good with that Morgana wondered how an annoying dragon like he could be Karmiini’s son.

Having to look after her clan mates Morgana had barely time check her father but she knew he spent a lot of time elsewhere. She had started to fear he might tell too much about their clan to the outsiders the clan being in the state it was and Morgana didn’t want that to happen. Eventually she managed to get some free time and used that to chat with her father. He was with the maggot who had been causing headaches to her and as she approached them she heard them talking about a charge.

Hearing that made Morgana pity Obsidius who had fallen to his instincts and asked who was the dragon to steal his heart. Obsidius though didn’t feel like answering making Morgana little mad. She though was not in a mood for arguing having done that days and nights and left checking the junk the wind guardian had been bringing when no eyes were seeing.

Morgana didn’t know who was Obsidius’ charge nor did she know where he had found it but she knew he couldn’t stay away from it after having sold his soul to it. She kept an eye on him hoping to see hints of who that was and to keep him from dating with outsiders as he was not worthy. Maggot though made that very hard and Obsidius was able to sneak out the lair with the help of the parasite.

One evening a messenger arrived from the Observatory and knowing they were a prized guest Morgana came to meet them trying to give as good image of the clan as possible. The messenger didn’t stay for long and after giving the scroll to Morgana they left. There was a huge argument over who should open and read the scroll and in the end it was Karmiini who got the job. The message was a move order from the Observatory and it asked them to move their clan to the Starwood Strand.

Packing up all the junk Obsidius had bought was pain in everyone’s tail as everyone disagreed how it should be done some wanting to do nothing. Morgana did what she could to prevent them from lazing off but more often that not she ended up doing the chores when others didn’t put any effort into it. Among those few who worked without forcing were Obsidius and a mirror who was seen every now and then but never did anything. Obsidius stayed very close to that mirror and Morgana guessed he was his charge. She thought how fittingly lesser charge her father had found for his lesser nature.

The move night arrived and Morgana had to carry few faes to the new lair as they said they were feeling too bad to fly on their own. She herself wasn’t feeling excellent either but was sure it was just a flu and avoided showing that to others. To help with that she let Karmiini be the one to organize the departure, flight and the arrival. Upon landing Morgana dropped her cargo and started to organize it when she noticed the mirror sneaking to a hide. Morgana hates how he lived in the clan doing nothing and promised herself to do something with him, later.

Small pile of pink petals.

After the move was completed the clan returned to the status quo fast and Morgana was once again busy keeping the clan behaving like dragons should. Her status had not changed during the move progress and everyone still refused to take her seriously and were like a litter of big babies. She was getting sick of that and being pranked by the maggot all the time but being sure she was right with her ideals she could not give up and was stuck where she was.

Not long after the move the clan got two guests and Morgana prayed her clan mates were smart enough to give the best picture of themselves. Oddly enough they did but that wasn’t enough to fool their guest. Tinker the shadow ridgeback noticed easily clan’s power vacuum and came to talk about that with Morgana. Morgana felt ashamed for having her incapability to keep order noticed but at the same time she was happy to have her efforts seen. Like Morgana Tinker didn’t like the anarchy or lack of order in the clan and after chatting a little bit with Morgana offered to help her.

Tinker did not hesitate and using the surprise her sudden ordering caused in the residents and the information Morgana had given to her, mainly the names and basic information, she was able to fill the void and bring order back to the clan. With that they were able to do something to that mirror that kept doing nothing. Morgana knew he was the original founder and enjoyed as Tinker rubbed his irresponsibility to his face. Obsidius was nearby and Morgana noticed how he was a bit shamed and barely could hold himself from attacking Tinker. As he glanced to his daughter she gave him a scornful look pitying how he was prisoner of his instincts.

After having brought order into the clan Tinker and Morgana worked to organize the clan and make sure everyone knew what their place was. Alfa and Obsidius had started to work hard to clean their reputation but Morgana was sure that was only temporary goal and they would eventually return to how they were before. She didn’t believe dragons that had been so stupid to not noticed how they were just a waste in the clan could do more and made that very clear to them when they tried to get her acceptance. Eventually they indeed started to sneak out and Morgana was sure that was to slack off even when they bought some loot with them when they came back.

As time went on Alfa started to gain some trust from his clan mates which Morgana felt was very undeserved. She could not understand how Benizakura out of all the dragons was the first one to forgive him and tried to talk about that with him but he was not interested in her opinions. That made her slightly mad but she kept that inside not wanting to make herself seem too immature, and if someone deserved her anger more that was Breeze. That stupid noodle brain never seemed to grow up or notice she had now clear authority in the clan but at the same time she didn’t seem to be able to catch him and Tinker didn’t see him as worth of wasting time to.

Things in the clan carried on the same for some time Tinker having gotten job to organize daily gatherings and occasional conferences while Morgana helped her to keep the residents behaving. One night a dragon arrived to the clan and Morgana was immediately able to tell they were from the Observatory. She assumed Tinker would go to meet them but Alfa was faster and Morgana hated how he would give bad expression of their clan. She came slightly closer to hear what their guest wanted and to correct all false claims Alfa might say. The dragon told he was looking for Nova which made Morgana curious as the little fae barely did anything in the clan though he seemed to study stars when sky was clear. The dragon took Nova and Morgana went to inform Tinker about what she had heard.

Nova returned few nights later bearing the emblems of an ambassador. Morgana felt good seeing that as sign of the Observatory seeing their clan as valuable and proud wanted to demonstrate both the clan and the outsiders how great they were. She suggested they’d build an observatory for their Deity’s chosen one and was quite surprised when the rest of the clan agreed with her. They shared roles Tinker taking the lead while Morgana acted as her right hand while Alfa and Obsidius brought the materials and food while others did the work.

The observatory was eventually finished and though it wasn’t the greatest it was good enough and Morgana was happy not needing to deal with whining for time being. Things though started to turn weird very soon when the residents found weapons and poisons hidden across the lair with others starting to act nervous. Morgana knowing the raider couple of Alfa and Obsidius brought weird junk from their raids was sure they were planning a takeover and stayed near Tinker to be ready to support her if there was need.

Soon enough Tinker called a conference to discuss about all the weapons found in the clan when Witchi who Morgana barely knew showed herself and told there was a takeover being planned but not by those Morgana had assumed. The accused denied the fae’s claims but Morgana didn’t believe them knowing how they hated both her and Tinker and made that very clear to them. After Obsidius and Alfa joined her and Tinker one of the accused charged towards Tinker while others did he same from other direction. Morgana hating how they seemed to enjoy anarchy over order took care of those and almost crushed them to made sure they didn’t do that again.

Soon after the clan held a trial against those who acted against them. Morgana was sure Alfa had something to do with the takeover attempt taking to count high amount of his grandchildren among them. She stared the mirror coldly throughout the trial changing to Obsidius once she noticed him staring at her. The situation was quite chaotic and would have been worse but was kept on topic thanks to Karmiini whose work Morgana enjoyed listening.

The guilty wanted to move to the Observatory to serve their Deity for the rest of their lives and that was what they were given. Alfa wanted to be the one to escort them to the ancient lair but Morgana didn’t trust him and offered to escort them instead. Tinker agreed with her and she left as soon as they were ready. The journey was not hard no one trying to escape and though she didn't get far only escorting them across the canal she noticed she was constantly worried about Tinker in the lair. She though was sure that was not because she was guardian but because she feared to become a joke again if something was to happen to the ridgeback.

After returning to the lair Morgana stayed near Tinker fearing Obsidius and Alfa might try to overthrow them. Tinker thought Morgana was being a bit too guardian but Morgana felt that was all necessary for her safety, and it made Morgana less nervous for some reason. Eventually one night Alfa came to talk with Tinker while Morgana had been checking the residents having noticed Obsidius snoozing without his charge. Upon seeing that she had rushed to see Tinker who told that Alfa had suggested Karmiini to become clan’s judge. Morgana appreciate the pearlcatcher greatly and was happy that Alfa had noticed her to be worthy of a title that great though she was still skeptical about the mirror.

Things in the clan started to calm after Karmiini’s promotion but Morgana kept feeling insecure being almost paranoid about Tinker's safety. She though didn’t want to be similar to her father and tried to push the feeling away. Tinker seemed to notice that and came to talk about that with her. Morgana was not willing to talk about her feelings seeing those as signs of weakness but could not deny Tinker’s claims when she asked if she was her charge. Though not liking that Morgana feared that was indeed the case and seemingly started to feel better upon accepting the fact Tinker told her.

Small pile of pink petals.

Things carried on peacefully and trusting Tinker being able to keep the authority Morgana didn’t see point in clinging on her tail. They met often but were rarely together while doing their works Morgana focusing in keeping residents behaving letting the ridgeback do the leading. When the clan was ordered to move to the Focal Point she showed support for Tinker who did not want to move where everyone else wanted but they lost to Alfa in voting and so Morgana supervised the packing. After the move the clan was named and Morgana regretted having stayed silent throughout the conference letting Breeze’s suggestion win. The name though was not half bad and she continued patrolling the lair throughout the nights.

Morgana stayed away from the leader fights between Alfa and Tinker keeping an eye on the residents to see potential takeover plans in there. Life for her was not that interesting being the same night after night no one really caring about her demands of behaving like dragons but she had already gotten used to that. Obsidius’ daughter Halloween became close with Breeze and joined him as they caused headaches for her, she supervised the smithy project and later inn project and was gleeful when Halloween lost her eye after one prank.

Meanwhile Alfa’s son Julius, whose mother interested Morgana greatly, was irresponsible like his father sneaking out and never finding back in. Morgana never needed to look for him but she often checked his punishments were carried through. One busy night Morgana was checking Julius, who was once again imprisoned after getting lost, when she noticed him gone. The clan was full of almost panicking dragons and Morgana informed busy Tinker about Julius before moving to keep dragons calm. She had to do that again when Julius eventually came back with a pack of centaurs.

Morgana didn’t really care what was going on, which was a lot, nor did she care about the details but she was curious of why Tinker showed sympathy towards Alfa during all of that. The ridgeback told that to keep the clan from rising up she had to show being caring and Alfa was quite liked. Morgana disagreed but stayed silent and returned to patrol the lair.

Nothing interesting happened in quite a while. There was an argument over the Hoard, few transform cases, an accident in the smithy claiming two bodies, some issues with two greedy imperials, an attempt of summoning the Shade, a battle between Alfa and a grandson of Tinker which Morgana sadly missed having been patrolling, an outsider turning out to be a monster, the gaining on the ancient status and one mad alchemist. A little more interesting was when Breeze was captured by a cocky nature dragon and the saving ended with Alfa becoming severely wounded even with Obsidius being close by proving Morgana how pathetic the jolly guardian was and the mirror was clearly not any better.

Some time later Tinker did something amazing and captured Nemo, the founder fae who had apparently been affecting clan from shadows. The details were meaningless for Morgana but she enjoyed seeing Alfa broken with Obsidius next to him hoping he would leave because of the scandal and let Morgana and Tinker make the clan a real dragon clan. Things though did not go like Morgana hoped. Alfa stayed in the clan and Tinker became very nervous for some reason. Morgana did not like that feeling it made them look weak and the two argued Tinker turning her back to Morgana leaving the guardian disappointed and confused.

Small pile of pink petals.

Tinker became almost paranoid after the recent events that were blurry for Morgana for some reason and she took the job of organizing daily gatherings for time being. Like Tinker Alfa seemed to have something else than leading in mind and Morgana, though unsure, was not fearing a takeover. That though soon changed after two dragons were found dead.

Tinker seemed to be in a state of mind not suiting for investigating blaming the deaths on dragon that didn’t even exist and Morgana had to take that job too. Not really knowing about crimes and such she wanted to ask Karmiini’s help hoping the pearlcatcher would finally accept her company. She though could not find her, only her broken pearl was found.

The discovery made Morgana very scared and she struggled to keep her emotionless face. Karmiini was near perfect dragon in Morgana’s eyes and with two dragons poisoned she feared she might have been kidnapped or, even worse, dead. Trying to stay calm Morgana organized some search groups and asked to report anything out of ordinary but nothing was found, not even after many nights. Morgana started to get worried and barely slept leading some of the residents suggesting her to rest but Morgana not wanting to look weak denied their claims of being tired.

Few nights passed until Farkku, who Morgana knew as indefensibly lazy and unworthy dragon, came running to her. Everything about that seemed odd and she listened as the skydancer told panting having found Karmiini though he could not tell if she was alive or not.

Upon hearing that Morgana took the nearest dragons and rushed after Farkku. They arrived to a well hidden hole where Karmiini lied motionless. Vatta used his nature magic to lift Karmiini up and while that was happening Witchi came out of nowhere and screamed how it was all Nobu’s doing. Nobu was with the crowd and when Morgana turned to see him he was pushed to the ground by others having a toxic dart with him.

Nobu was crystallized and put in the jail while Karmiini recovered. Upon waking up she told what had happened, Nobu had attacked her while she was alone, knocked out and hidden. Nobu had been cruel to his mother and Morgana was waiting for her to make him pay. While waiting Tinker took back her place as the leader having been calmed down a little bit after fearing nothing. Morgana forgave her her immature behavior and started to move back to her regular duties but not until Nobu was punished.

Eventually Karmiini was strong enough to judge Nobu and the trial started. The case should have been easy but the purple dragon did not make it easy. He did not answer questions and tried to distract the conversation and among all that he provoked Karmiini by calling her ”mother”. Morgana watched as Karmiini tried to stay strong but Nobu’s words clearly hurt her. She hoped he would just shut up and let the justice come to him and teasing Karmiini did not make that any easier.

The trial went on some time going nowhere. Eventually Karmiini snapped shouting her son to shut up. Seeing Karmiini lose her cool like that surprised Morgana who didn’t like emotional outbursts like that and was often ashamed of her own. She though did not want to blame Karmiini knowing she had just been through a lot and just blamed Nobu’s toxins for the reaction.

The trial was called off after that and Nobu was left unpunished. Morgana was not happy with the results but could not do much Karmiini being in too bad mood to do decisions and without her the rest of the clan could not make the decision. The clan went to sleep as Nobu was brought back to the jail Tinker asking Morgana to guard Karmiini. She did not need to be asked twice.

Their sleep was cut short when the jailer, Luna rushed to wake everyone up. Someone had knocked her out and Nobu had escaped. The clan got up as soon as the news broke and Alfa lead a scouting team to find the escaped criminal. Eventually Silence’s scream cut the silence in the lair and Karmiini rushed to the wood Morgana and Tinker following.

They eventually found the group next to a motionless creature that turned out to be Nobu, clearly not living. He had been killed by a sword but no one in the group had one and Morgana was left wondering who did that. Karmiini though did not seem to care and borrowed a cleaver from one of the members to make sure her son stayed dead. After that the clan life returned normal without a border guard and a battle strategist who had died thank to Nobu. Tinker took the job to fill those roles while Morgana returned to keep order in the clan hiding the shame she felt for the ones she had thought to be near perfect.

Small pile of pink petals.

Life after the incident was rather peaceful until Nemo returned after having ran away following her trial which had been reason for Tinker's sudden paranoia. For Morgana it was obvious to not let her back into the lair but she was also unsurprised when Alfa allowed her to stay. Which she though could not understand was why Karmiini out of all dragons agreed with the superannuated mirror but in the end did not want to fight with her and let the decision slide though not agreeing with it one bit.

Things remained somewhat normal after Nemo's arrival though the clan was a bit tense while Morgana was mildly annoyed. She though brightened up when Nova discovered a new constellation followed by Rosalin showing off her new plan for lair layout. Morgana had always liked her ideas of what the lair should look like but her first temple plan had been shot down for being "too grandiose". That though was long time ago and the clan was now ready for her even bigger plan which was accepted in the same conference in which the clan took a new name in honor of Nova's discovery finally getting rid of Breeze's stupid suggestion.

Morgana was excited to be the overseer for the new project but then clan's familiars started to act weird she needing to pressure Pinkapi and Fen to solve the case fast it hindering everything. Before that was solved, however, Silence attacked a random plague clan causing them to almost declare a war against them all the while Nemo vanished once again leading Morgana blame her for all the unfortunate events happening.

Alfa managed to avoid the war which Morgana found quite impressive. However, familiars still acted weird and Nemo along with Witchi, Tinker's little spy, had been missing for weeks. Nearing the end of the annual arcane House Cup Tinker came to talk with Morgana about turning Nemo's current home area upside down to find her she being still their primary suspect. They told about that to the less serious leading duo Morgana having been ready to force them to join if they had not been willing from the start which they oddly enough were.

Morgana and Tinker scouted another half of Nemo's area she having been given a sector to guard as part of Trooper's defense plan meeting in the middle. Neither party had found any traces of the witch when they noticed trees growing rabidly around them trapping them where they were. As they were wondering what was going on Shadow, Sapny, Glade and Megabrain, all with criminal past, came through the newly formed wall. Tinker asked what it was all for Shadow explaining it was all part of their plan to summon the Shade.

The tension rose everybody seemingly ignoring what Morgana said about the plan being beyond nonsensical. They were surrounded by two mages, an alchemist and a druid and Morgana started to get nervous of not knowing how they would get out of the situation. The bubble was popped when Tinker tried to use her shadow walking ability Shadow crystallizing her almost immediately. Confused Morgana had turned around after hearing Tinker's scared scream which left her open to attacks Megabrain throwing his bottles at her whatever being in knocking her out soon after.

It was unclear how long it had been since the attack when Morgana was finally woken up by mostly unfamiliar, rather important looking dragons. Obsidius and she were still where they had encountered the maniacs both charges being missing Obsidius making his way to his upon hearing his whereabouts. Morgana stayed until her head was clearer not wanting to look as clumsy as her father and refused to accept help when eventually making her way to the lair where Tinker told what had happened.

A lot had happened since Morgana had been petrified the clan having managed to prevent the summoning but lost some dragons in the battle, the most notable being Nemo and clan's healer. Alfa had also been wounded so badly that he decided to retire temporarily Morgana being against the idea of giving his position to Julius, his irresponsible son, for time being. Tinker though supported that it being partly her idea she not wanting to deal with foreign politics and Morgana shared that stand. She stood Julius for weeks as her equal he being less antagonizing than his father until Alfa decided he wanted to rule again and took his place back Morgana expecting his and Tinker's fights returning with that.

Small pile of pink petals.

A lot happened after the Summoning Incident; Glade was killed, Pahatar tried to take over the clan, Shadow and Sapny came back, one healer died and another was kicked out, Alfa started to laze off more, Tinker grew soft and so on. Morgana had expected things to remain the same, especially when it came to Tinker and Alfa, but the two seemed to have very tender relationship following the summoning. If the two argued, it was about whether or not Alfa should work because his tail was acting up, and it was always Tinker that suggested him to rest. Morgana was not sure if she liked that and her relationship with the ridgeback grew quite distant. Morgana mostly just made sure things remained in order while Tinker pampered the residents.

It was years since the Summoning Incident and during one early winter the clan had had an issue with some bounty hunters, sent by Pahatar. The reason for that was a three-dragon group that had robbed the wildclaw, which she totally deserved, but Morgana thought Tinker should have taken better care to make sure the trio didn’t bring that kind of problems to the clan. To top that one of the wanted dragons had some kind of power to travel between dimensions and contact with the fate itself. That dragon was kidnapped by a young cocky mage, who was forced to leave after being caught, and Morgana was happy to have the freak be out of the lair.

The event that had caused the young cocky mage to leave the clan was quite unusual. The clan had adopted some old beatsclan ghosts to act as its guardian spirits, Morgana never understood why especially when they seemed powerless when compared to the eleven. The five spirits had then decided that the mage was going too far and they wanted the dragon with unmatching eyes gone. The event was so massive that even the dragons who didn’t really care about the five animal ghosts got more into that and the ghosts, and the freak with dimension traversing powers, were all the clan talked about starting midwinter. It just kept on going on and Morgana was getting sick of the nonsense.

It was some time after wind’s holiday and Morgana was patrolling the lair like usual when Svecica, who had taken over the announcement job from Azul, announced a conference to be held soon enough. Conferences were usually decided by Tinker and Morgana was able to see that was not the case that night. The ridgeback was preparing to organize that night’s gathering and seemed confused by the announcement. Morgana assumed Alfa had had something important he wanted to talk about with the rest of the clan but a fast glance to the residents revealed the mirror and his guardian were likewise nowhere near the courtroom, and like Tinker they seemed confused. The leaders started to walk towards the courtroom with rest of the clan to see what the issue was and Morgana followed.

Morgana sat to her regular place next to Tinker at the front of the courtroom. As they waited rest of the clan to arrive she glanced to the crowd to see who of the residents had wanted to organize the conference and saw spiral sisters Aspen and June sit near the front with their friends, and Sagwa. The spirals were event organizers and Morgana was sure they wanted to suggest yet another party for the clan. She hated those suggestion when they popped up during update conferences and she was quite annoyed that the two had decided to organize full conference just to talk about a useless mess.

Once everyone planning to participate was present Karmiini stepped on the podium and called forth all five of clan’s guardians. Usually only the clan’s namesake was called and for a moment Morgana was worried the ghosts had demanded something again like they had done during the Night of the Nocturne. Kupari though looked too confused for that to be the case and Morgana let the worry die out as the chairdragon asked her daughter to fly forth.

Aspen flew to the front of the courtroom and asked if everyone remembered the conference from the last Night of the Nocturne. Considering the clan had not stopped talking about that Morgana couldn’t figure out how someone could have forgotten it, it was not possible even if someone wanted to forget it. After getting the entire clan to the same page the spiral explained that she and her gang had been planning a new annual five-night gathering-free festival to celebrate the five spirits. It would take place in the middle of May and each of the nights would have its own theme, activities and buffet.

Aspen detailed what each night would include and after she was done the clan nodded silently. Karmiini started to ask opinions from leaders and Morgana was quite surprised when Tinker allowed the festival to be held, she even allowed the “no gatherings” bit after the clan promised they would do double the work leading to the festival. Morgana knew vast majority of the residents were rather lazy during gatherings and knowing they could not do double work she would not have accepted the gathering-free event. Unsurprisingly the rest of the asked leader figures accepted the festival suggestion as well, and though Karmiini herself didn’t share her stand Morgana had a feeling she was lenient too which made Morgana wonder if the pearlcatcher was slipping with her absolute neutrality policy. Aspen was her daughter after all.

Pretty much the only resident who was not all for the event was Pix, the cafeteria owner and Glade’s replacement. As the nature ambassador May was already very busy for the coatl and she had no time to waste time making snacks for the useless event. She brought that up and Morgana decided to ask for floor to voice that she didn’t agree with the work-free event. If they were not going to gather then they should do some other work and she was not going to yield on that front. The clan begged her to allow even one event to be work free but the elemental holidays were not that and neither should this spirit celebration.

The clan begged Morgana for minutes but it was a known fact that she did not give up when it came to demanding some kind of work to be done each night and she was not sure why they even tried. Eventually the clan gave in once Sagwa suggested that if the were going to do some kind of work, they could do ritualistic cleaning, her words. Basically, each night the clan could come together to clean places relating that night’s theme; inn during the night celebrating travels and healing offices during the night celebrating life. The other three nights didn’t have a clear place that could be cleaned and instead the fourth night was basically dedicated to make sure the residents knew how to defend themselves and the clan. Third night was left work-free as it was meant to remember the dead and clan absolutely refused to do work during that. The fifth and last night was also work-free in theory though the clan decided to encourage trying different professions during it. With that taken care of Morgana gave her permission for the event, and so did Pix.

After the conference the event organizers got to work and Morgana allowed them to work in peace, mostly. She though occasionally checked that they kept their end of the promise and kept the jobs as part of nights’ activity list. During the festival Morgana participated in the nightly projects and made sure that no one was freeloading, she did not know such a term as “voluntary participation”. Few avoided work as expected but otherwise residents seemed motivated to keep places clean and skills sharp. During the last night the leader figures received some gifts from the residents for their hard work Morgana easily receiving the lowest quantity and quality of them. Pretty much the only ones that gifted her were Obsidius, Breeze, Halloween and Tinker. Morgana didn’t really care about getting gifts, ultimately they were just useless junk, and was not bothered by the lack of gifts. It was possible that the gifts weren’t even for the “hard work” but for her hatchday that was few nights after the event ended. During that she just received few words from dragons that knew of the date. On that front the night was not different from the ones preceding it.

Traits

Morgana is an arcane guardian with dark bluish grey body decorated with paler and darker stripes and spots, paler horns, purple wings having paler vein-like marks on front end and bright red underbelly. She is quite muscular and large dragon whose horns, spines and fins all around are quite big with fin fingers being clearly longer than what the membrane reaches except on her belly. Morgana is the only dragon in the clan know to have easily noticeable eye bags which the dark stripe crossing her pale face mask can’t quite hide. She has common pink eyes.

Morgana is often called the Red Baroness and for a good reason. She sees red as a color of power and status and has covered herself with many types of red apparels to show her pride of her status mixed with a bit of gold and silver. She though isn’t a costumer designer and for a long time she looked a quite like a mess being too proud to ask or take feedback for her overloaded look. She though eventually did after being in stone for days and now wears a silvery crown with golden edge, emerald on both sides and a ruby in front the crown continuing to her neck where it is tied by red roses to a golden filigree necklace which continues down her neck on which she has a red canvas collar tied with a robe. She has a crimson silk scarf and on that a dark bone birdskull necklace with red feathers. She also has red feathers hanging from her wings with red rose tangles having silver thorns. Similar roses decorate her legs and tail. Morgana's tail and legs are protected from thorns by red covers and on her toes and fingers she has ruby rings front legs also having silver emerald rings. Ruby ring on her right arm creates red smoke when Morgana is getting mad releasing the anger through magic instead of claws and words which had made Morgana a bit calmer. She also has two wraps of silk around her tail connected by a golden chain and she is overall covered by a red and navy blue suit.

Morgana thinks a perfect dragon shows no emotions and her voice in almost always cold and devoid of emotion because of that. Despite of that there are sometimes hints of anger and scorn in her serious voice and especially when she happens to get mad they can be heard across the lair. Morgana has deep, strong and slightly monotone voice and slight Macedonian accent.

Morgana puts a lot of emphasis on being a ”perfect” dragon and tries to be what she idealizes. By her own words a ”perfect” dragon is strong both physically and mentally working with force rather than magic. They should be able to control their emotions, or in other words not show them in any circumstance, and resist everything that might persuade them to do otherwise. Though trying to be as perfect as possible Morgana isn’t that and is notorious for being short-tempered and often explodes when her demands for behaving like ”real” dragons are not taken seriously or when she ends up being a victim of someone’s joke. She has gotten a bit better with controlling her anger with age and having noticed that no one ever listens to her she doesn’t get that mad because of that anymore. Jokes though are still a sure way to make her rage and she might even use her size to make others know she is angry.

Morgana is a prideful dragon and though not seen as an authority she behaves like she is one though she is not bossy nor does she ask others to do her work. Real dragon does their own work and often tries to teach that to ”lesser”, ”not-perfect”, and hates how stubborn everyone is to not do that. Ironically Morgana herself is very stubborn refusing to see others beyond their first impressions. If someone was on jolly mood when meeting Morgana for the first time she is going to see them as jolly for the rest of their life and she will see herself as better because of that ”fact” alone. She also rarely shows interest towards conflicts for any degree seeing those being caused by emotions and understanding to keep them hidden she sees herself above all of those and any guardian being controlled by their emotions for their charge.

Morgana sees dragons as superior race and sees it as disgrace to spend time with a lesser creature. Needless to say she doesn’t have familiar or any kind of companion nor does she want one.

Morgana’s ideal dragon doesn’t use magic and thus Morgana herself doesn’t use magic at all. She can’t use even the easiest of the spells nor does she care about that. She works with her hands and overpowers her clan mates thanks to her size. In Guardian standards she is nothing special.
