They lose a point of energy every 4 hours. Once stabilization week is well... stabilized, we'll be turning on energy drain in coliseum (for losses.) We have it turned off at the moment because with the site on the fritz, it would suck to have a disconnect give you lost energy. :-)

Mind, Thrage and Akiri are fixing new bugs every day, so we hope to reach an overall stable site soon.

The scroll of maturity does not bypass breeding cooldown. It ages your dragon from hatchling to adult instantly, so you can use it in coliseum or equip apparel. It does mention breeding cooldown, but it mentions that it DOES NOT bypass it. Apologies for any confusion.

Each monster has a loot table of 8-15 items that it has a chance to drop.

Some are ridiculous, just really rare finds. 1/5000 and such. But many have higher drop percentages, like 70% of the time or 20% of the time. :)

So it's random, but it's not entirely random.

Swip might have a use for them...

Scratch is stocked fairly commonly in the marketplace. I'd expect you'll find one soon. The marketplace has a chance to restock every 5 minutes. (it doesn't always though, as it's a random chance.)

Have your friend use the contact form here to send us a message. She should include her user name, the e-mail she used to register, her date of birth, and her first and last name. We'll then manually look up and send her her activation code.

Did you check your familiar and "other" tab?

If you were playing runestones, you don't actually get the gold until you complete the level or get a game-over. (The treasure that goes up as you make matches is an illusion.)

Any time the dragon with anticipate is attacked while anticipate is active, it generates a huge amount of breath.

Guard helps to protect other dragons by making yoru dragon sometimes jump in front of them.

The anticipate/guard combo makes for very dangerous tanks.

Swip is the same for everyone. Swip offers trades where he asks for large quantities of lesser-value items in exchange for higher-value items or things that are unique to him.

Crim offers things random to each user, and offers either 500 tr (minimum) or 2x the vendor price.

The well fed bonus is awesome. It gives you 250 free treasure a day, a free gem, +15% battle experience, and +5 gathering turns.

They are all very much alive and have physical forms. None of them died as a result of the shattering of the Pillar. Their essence was thrown from the Pillar causing them to return to their physical forms.

Ward is dependent on the caster's stats. A percentage of their MND stat is protecting their friends.

For those who saw this and decided to join in before it got fixed, I had to spend 15 minutes undoing that. As innocent as this bug seems, browsing the bug forums for bugs you want to exploit is definitely not alright.

I've just finished giving some of the more common familiars a very gentle bump to their drop rate.

They should lose one energy every 4 hours.

You can't layer skins and accents.

What you could do is make a skin with all the gembond-bits erased into so it's transparent in those places and the natural coloring of your dragon shows through. Skins can have 31-100% coverage (actually, they can have less than 30% too, but in that case you're better off purchasing the much cheaper accent.)

You might need to beef up your dragon's MND stat. It'll protect you against magical attacks.

Coliseum shoots up in difficulty at level 7, because all the enemies gain their elemental abilities at that stage. (Dragons have the ability to equip them at level 5.) Opposing elements hurt like ouch.

I'm sorry, but this is a little bit awesome.
