Question for the group:

How many of you have noticed this happening while idling mid-battle (maybe going to a different tab during the battle), then coming back to it? Vice versa, how often does it happen if you are playing normally? Additionally, do most of you have multiple tabs of Flight Rising open WHILE battling? Does it improve if you do not?

Also, Coliseum has gone through some pretty major changes in the last week, so it may also be a safe/good idea to give your browser's cache a clear, just to get rid of any weird residual data that might be hanging around. You can find instructions for that here:

Yeah, this is unfortunately a technical limitation of the browser and javascript tooltips. I've found that the best method is to mouse over another item to refresh the tooltip, then it should disappear normally. :)

To help our codesmith's narrow down specific browser-related issues, what browser where you using, and was it up-to-date?

Refreshing or tabbing away removing energy is working as intended, though you're not doing so by choice. We wanted to prevent people who were losing a battle from cheating and navigating away to avoid the loss-penalty.

Apologies for the bumpy ride. The codesmiths are making some great progress, but there's a lot to cover.

An issue that cropped up with coliseum with the latest update. (fixed one thing, something new broke. Poor codesmiths!) They were up for over 20 hours and are getting some much needed rest.

They're a collectible of sorts, and also a companion to your dragons. Equip them to your dragon and every day you can spend time with it and become better allies, or even friends. Each time you spend time with your familiar, you're rewarded with treasure or items that your familiar gives to you.

We don't have this listed anywhere, so you're not missing anything!

For now, referring someone gives you free gems every time they buy gems.

1rst time they purchase gems: 50 gems + 1% of their transaction. (they don't lose gems. You just get free ones.)

Any time thereafter, you get 1% of their gem purchase as free gems.

The gods are still alive, if licking their wounds from the arcanist's brilliant idea to welcome doomsday with open arms.

Thrage is working on the coliseum even as I type this. Today he made some great headway into finding the boss-bug that was causing the server to crash. The team is going to keep working at this until the site is stable and as glitch-free as possible!

In the meantime, we appreciate the bug reports people have submitted. It is helping immensely to narrow now common issues and to figure them out.
