I have so many lore dragons. XD That said, what I find really inspiring is to look at subspecies. They have lore starters intrinsic to them most of the time, and you can just go off of that! ^_^ So, to narrow things down from all that lore I have so I don't flood the thread, I'll just show some who are part of subspecies (but the individual lore is all written by me.)

I have many more, and it was honestly a lot harder than I expected to narrow it down to just 5 of them. Most of my dragons with lore in their bios just have bullet-point notes to get the general info down, which I can easily reference for writing lore blurbs later (which mostly consists of just grouping up similar bullet-points and expanding them into sentences and paragraphs).
Sometimes I just really have a scene or story in mind for the dragon(s), and I've often written stories and discovered the personalities of the dragon(s) involved through it without having any concrete character ideas prior. I find both methods fun, although the bullet-points is definitely the quickest and easiest way to just get some thoughts down and figure out who you're working with.
