Biography
Helio
"Bound by flesh, freed by blood"
|The broken one|
"Crimson streaks glisten on obsidian scales, sticky and cooling. He stares at his claws; soaked in the blood of his former enemy" Reizar's blood
xxxx
Mourning
in the wind as the
scent of blood soaks your claws
xxxxTeeth that pierce your heart
xxxxWith choke of death-rot heavy
xxxxOn your tongue.
Wearing
the pain of rage
a cloak over your shoulders
xxxxGive into the need to rip
xxxxTear your way through grief
xxxxLike his throat.
Screaming
hate turned to love
giving the heavens every inch
xxxxLay down your head
xxxxHeavy with the pink tears
xxxxStained in him.
mmmmmmmmmm

There's just so much blood...
The coppery tang of it hangs heavy in the air, hitting the back of his throat like the flesh of a coralclimber, harsh and dripping with a foul bitterness.
Too late, Helio realizes what it does to him. His stomach churns at the thought, but his instincts claws beneath his crimson scales, eager to destroy. He bites his lip, teeth aching with the need to sink into the prey before him, his prey.
No! This is wrong; he shakes his head to get rid of the thought but his body betrays him. He groans again as he crouches down next to Reiza, talons burning with a longing to stretch further, to dig into the meat before him. How could his claws itch with that need? He asks himself. Suddenly he feels trapped, the rocks too confining, closing in on him. He licks his lips again, tasting the blood in the air and he shudders at the sensation. His teeth seem too big and pointy for his mouth and he feels locked, trapped in his armored scales while his true nature paces beneath the surface of his skin like a caged animal.
Helio holds back a snarl, forcing his attention away from those destructive urges. Reizar is a wreck, his body drenched in blood and gore, and all the sand and dirt they'd rolled in makes it look even worse. The mauled mess of his hind leg is dark with congealing blood, making Helio doubt if that leg can even be saved.
Something tightens in his throat when he sees Reizar like this; unmoving and wounded. So vulnerable...
He shouldn’t give a damn if he dies. After all, it's just one less Guardian. But Reizar isn't just a Guardian, he's more than that. He's seen firsthand how strong Reizar is, he felt it every time their talons clashed and he wants to feel it again.
He can't just watch him die in a puddle of his own blood like some weak pathetic animal.
They are supposed to fight until neither of them can even stand. Helio wants to scratch that smirk off Reizar's face, wants to be the one to end whatever the hell it is they’d started all those years ago.
Back then, all he’d ever needed was to carve his talons into Reizar's chest, to smear his blood all over the dunes of Sornieth and watch as the life drained from those eyes he hated so much.
But not so soon...
