You've made it past the still silence of the Red Forest and the treacherous plains of the Glowing Sea to arrive at the foot of an impressive mountain range. They tower far into the dim sky above, brushing the bottoms of the radiation-laced clouds that cover the Zone.

All things considered, you should be dead by now. After encounters with numbers of very dangerous creatures and dragons alike, you're a bit banged up but doing fine. The low readings on your radiation sensor tells you it's relatively safe to take off your protective suit, as long as you stay within the shadow of the rocky slopes.

The echoes of warnings for the two places you escaped from flit across your thoughts, and you turn to stare over at the strong light coming from atop a plateau deep within the mountains.

You've resigned yourself to go there, to find out what is behind all the wasted remnants you've witnessed.

However... the mountains lie before you, and they bring a unique set of challenges.

Please note that your dragon cannot fly here, unless it is just above the ground. The radiation the mountain slopes block will fry them in an instant if they leave its protective lee.

Also, the mountains are vast and full of places where creatures could hide. It may take a short while before you're able to find another living soul.

The process is simple:
1. Choose a dragon matching the theme

2. (Optional) Write something about your dragon exploring the environment / ect… They may encounter a dragon, they may not encounter anything.
More information on the different subregions can be found here and here.

This week, you'll be exploring the Erismoor mountains and foothills, if you wish to interact.

Theme: Earth Flight and Wind Flight

I want to see rocks. Dirt. All the Earth things! Maybe it's an actual Earth dragon, maybe it's a dragon made from stone, maybe it likes hard rock and roll! You see, though, I had a dilemma. It's been windy where I live and I'm in a windy mood. So, Wind dragons too!

@CristorcusHelix
(thank you for telling me about which dragons you've interacted with btw, it helps me keep track of things! shadis is the only dragon that could repeat here, but triggering his event/interaction is kinda difficult XD )
More and more holes in the ground became visible the longer Septaria looked for them, littering the mountainside in various shapes and sizes. Some looked weathered, while others looked more recent.

Judging by how many there were, it seemed that whoever resided in the area had the same idea. After all, layers of rock are one of the best natural shields for radiation.

There are a few holes in the side of the slope a ways in front of the Snapper. A couple of fresh looking ones, a couple smoothed out by years of harsh winds, and one that was rather mishappen in shape when compared to the others...

Septaria wandered past each of the holes, glancing down each one to see if anything was down there. Then she reached the misshapen hole. It definitely seemed odd, and in a place like this it was most likely hiding something dangerous, but the urge to explore was very convincing...

@ahzidal (( Ey, it's nice to see this continue! Well, you know who I'll be using in this. But, he doesn't really match the theme... So, I'll share this dragon just to legitimatize my participation. Though this isn't her final appearance, I do have this joke dragon. She's full of angst and has her own band: Eldritch Rust. Hard rock is one of the genres in her style. You can read more about her and her band in her bio. Though he doesn't like it overmuch, he does enjoy being protected by it. Otherwise, mind setting the scene this time? He's in a bit of a unique situation, after all, having a guide through the mountains (who he's gaining information from, the poor guy) and a more specific destination. Not to mention his uniqueness regarding his ability to see. I'll at least post him here for the record's sake, though.
