An expansive territory lies before you, shrouded completely in featureless fog. You remember the harrowing words of the Nocturne that guided you here. "Your destination is a treacherous landscape shrouded in desolation, legend, danger, and a pervasive, ever-present fog. Dragons that venture there most often disappear, never to be heard from again. Those that do come back return gravely ill, oft succumbing to some unknown illness. Not much lives there, that's for certain. The environment emits a sickly greenish glow, and the dry husks of the trees a short way in are an ominous red... You'd best be careful." Your hesitant footsteps take you closer and closer to the start of the fog, and the grass around you starts to shift from lush greens to dead, scraggly tufts. There is only silence surrounding you now, your guide having long abandoned you to your fate. You could do almost anything, with nothing but the mist as a witness, though you feel as if there is something else lurking nearby. I'm a sucker for nice xyz combos, and smoke looks amazing on female Snappers imo :D The whole idea of having a walking charging stone is rather neat, I can't say I've seen that before *thinking face* It must be a great boon to the magic-using dragons in a pinch! Good luck trying to convince her to keep to the edges. She mutters to herself as she wanders, occasionally stopping to break off a twig or dig at a patch of ground. Despite her vague manner, the elderly mage is well aware of where she is. However, the red forest's contamination poses little danger to someone whose body is nothing but old skin and dry bones, stitched together and given the semblance of life by layers of intricate spellwork. She wanders deeper into the forest, murmuring spells to herself and frowning at the results. "This isn't right at [i]all[/i]," she says at last.

This is cool; I like this. :) I want to play. Buuuut do we have to choose an arcane-ish dragon to enter this place? The one I had in mind was actually very plague. Hmm...

Oh, also, is everyone in a separate instance or can they stumble upon each other? I'm assuming the former, since this is on Dragon Share and not the RP boards.

He can perform almost any type of spell, but really only sees use in passives (bottomless bags, magically unbreakable tools, etc.) Passive spellsare actually how he contains his familiar within his pearl. She is a dragon who has a manawell so large, it is slowly evisceration her from the inside out. Pretty much the only way she is still alive is because she vents her magic in blasts of concentrated magic that is very dangerous at times (she accidently vaporized a dragon with it once. You can do whatever dragon you'd like, but in order to get the badge, the dragon has to relate to the theme in some way! I included the term 'magic' underneath the theme for a specific reason, and that's as a larger catchall for other dragons that aren't necessarily arcane themed. If you can relate your dragon to magic somehow, then you're good for the badge as well c:

edit: I'm sorry for you other two this is probably gonna ping you again XD Cryo, dragons venturing into the Zone are a 1 on 1 with my own dragons. The Exclusion Zone is large, large enough that it would be difficult to find each other easily. c:

I think they're both really pretty! Verde's whole color scheme goes together surprisingly well, you seemed to get the blue, pink, and orange to go together without being eye-burning or clashing c: Bottomless bags? Reminds me of Bags of Holding from Dungeons and Dragons!
Nebula would have a little in common with my dragon Pilot, in the terms of releasing dangerous blasts of energy! Causing the death of another must be a heavy burden for her to carry. I can't help but be curious... who did she vaporize? A friend, a family member, maybe a stranger..?

(amout your other questions: Verde's outfit is one tweaked by the user "SimilodonLady" from an outfit he used to have that was the skin, a brown mage tunic, the runescroll, and the celestial attendant (which is suppoused to be his matched familiar). Nebula on the other hand, was merely a fodderdragon i got as an arcane rep. The accent looked good on her, so i bought it as well. Her current outfit was also designed by SimilodonLady. Someone on the forums (i think) said she looked like she might explode into a mass of plasma and mana or something like that, so thats what i made into her lore. The fae she vaporized was just a dragon in her former clan that she vaporized as a hatchling because her manawell was hurting her, so she vented it as inefficently as possible to get rid of it. The fae was still disintegrating when she was finished venting. First the dragons body was destroyed, then the soul and mind were shredded when the mana blast ended. Nothing was left behind of the fae.)
