To start off, I love Eliras so freakin much. His colors immediately caught my eye and I had no idea robin pintrail had a light yellow accent. It's so gorgeous especially paired with that thylacine tert. I also adore that for his apparel you only chose white or very pale yellow/gold, its so fitting for him and complements his colors wonderfully. I also adore that he has a matching familiar. I think my favorite bit on him is golden seraph piece on his forearms, that gold against the dark blue is just amazing.

Next up, I adore Ambedoia. They have a gorgeous color combination with their genes and that accent compliments them beautifully. I'm especially loving the royalist rings as I didn't realize they weren't apart of the accent until a solid minute of staring at them. I also love the choice of Onyx pendants since the opal in the middle really matches with the big circle on the wings giving a sun/moon effect. Also rip to your bank account but they were clearly worth it.

I just had to go with Zephyros, he's so windy and wonderful and perfectly captures his element. Your apparel choices are genius here and the accent blends right in to the point where you could almost think he isn't wearing one. I also adore the smoke gene on him, I so rarely find dragons with smoke that looks good so seeing him with it working so well was a treat. His matching familiar is also super cute and I can tell you spent a lot of time on him.

I am actually losing it at how much I like Demergla. As soon as I popped into your crowteeth tab and saw the neon green I had to click her right away. I love that her stained gene makes the hunter genes a dark purple color with some lighter green spots, I really am a big sucker for stained genes that make green genes more reddish. Also that accent on her is just, so incredible and your apparel choices match it very well and make all the green on her stand out without being overbearing.

And to finish up I just had to go with Thanatos. That blue and orange/red just pops so well together and is incredibly eye catching. I actually didn't realize he had an accent for a solid few seconds because your apparel choices for him are just so cohesive and gorgeous and really work together to make his actual colors simultaneously blend and pop. I love that it gives him yellow little toes, I think they're super cute on him. Loving this dude so so much, the more I stare at him the more I think he might be my favorite dragon in your lair. 11/10, he's wonderful.

Radioactive is so commonly used as an XXX color or with other bright neons, and it's wonderful to see it on his obsidian primary here. I also really like that even though his veined is the same color as his secondary it's a little bit brighter, so you can still see all of it really well. His eyes even match! I just really, really love him and would 100% steal him for my own lair.

Firstly, eye spots and vipera are both criminally underrated genes, and I love how you've put them both to use here. Eye spots on mirrors is a personal weakness of mine anyway; they look better with it than most people give them credit for (see my progen Gale for an example lol). Secondly, he DOES actually dress like he's about to get murdered in his outfit since it's all red, and the apparel you've chosen makes him look like he's ready to murder them right back. He's got a lot of personality and I really appreciate that about him (special shoutout to his neighbor Octavian, who did not make this list, but also has fascinating personality vibes).

I think you did the right thing by leaving his wings mostly uncovered; that pop of color against a mostly monochrome black background helps him catch the eye.

It's been a long, long time since I've seen that particular accent used, actually, so I'm glad to see it here because it works super well for his shifty vibes. I also like how his icy eyes match the secondary color on his capsule; I didn't really notice it at first, but it's just another thing that makes him super cohesive. He's really well put-together and you should be proud of him. His familiar even matches! How awesome is that?

Let me start with Gale. I love the way she looks, that's a beautiful accent and I love eye spots, it's a really under used gene but it looks so good! I love how her gloom and black colors look so muted with those genes, it makes her look so ghostly. Her apparel is perfect and I especially love seeing the little spider. I also love her lore, and I love how it's written from Gale's perspective but she has to get all of her information from another dragon to learn anything about Alma. Her lore is also just sweet and sad and well written.

Now Xandra. That shimmery mane totally drew me in! She looks bubbly and fun. Lavender is a perfect color here and I love the use of basic genes with circuit because it really lets circuit pop without getting too busy. I enjoyed her lore too, I feel like I'd want to be her friend. She reminds me of those little shiny iridescent stickers.

I just seriously love the look of Ren. Fade/blend does wonders because it looks so neat and clean. The brightshine apparel really pops out on him, and having all those light items makes it seem like the yellow highlights from his primary look like light being cast onto him. When I read his lore though, wow! I wouldn't expect that from him either from my first impression of how he looked! I loved how that was written and I love that character concept! (I don't want to go off about my weird taste in music but he reminds me of the song "Bad Priestess" by The Mountain Goats)

Spectral was the first of your dragons to catch my eye. I normally wouldn't pick a permababy for my top 5 since there's only so much you can do with them, but Spectral's genes and colors are so perfect I couldn't leave her out. I actually haven't seen such a well-made rainbow dragon before! Her colors feel very balanced and don't clash at all, and her familiar is matched perfectly as well, which is impressive considering how many colors she has going on. It's obvious that a lot of thought and care went into her, and it shows!

A good spooky boy! Veery is another dragon with a very well matched familiar, and he looks absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't 100% on the gray wig at first, but looking at him as a whole, it works really well to break up an otherwise very monochrome color palette, and matches the cover of his little spellbook as well. The red accents on the candles and book also work well to add more visual interest. His genes and a lot of his apparel are really subtle, but the longer I look at him, the more I like him.

His scarf and gloves really bring out the warmer red tones in his primary and secondary, and the fact that his colors are pumpkin caramel latte is really cute to me. I love a good dragon with pun colors. He's adorable and seasonal, and I would love to hang out with him right now.

She's so... peachy! Emmett is a lovely dragon without too much apparel, and what she does have, she wears very well. Veined is a great choice for her tertiary. It's graceful and subtle without being invisible, and it makes her look like she's been inlaid with gold. The peace dove and the filigree sword look great together, and I love the wing ribbons over the daybreak decorations.

It's not often I see a dragon that can actually pull off the jester set, but he looks like it was made for him. The blonde wig balances out the lighter accents of his apparel, which is also matched very well with his colors. He's pretty, he's a skydancer, his lore is intriguing, and he has a cute gijinka design? This guy is the total package, right here.

Virtue reminded me of how loved tiger/seraph/underbelly when I first joined, it was a kinda common thing but dang it inspired my love for brown/greens since then. I love that small bit of his life in his bio and probably something I rarely see regarding exalting being seen as a "moving forward" kind of thing instead of the end of a dragon's life

Morrigan has some neat dark bright coloring~ rosette is a secondary you don't see much out there but here it works amazing on this girl! the green lace stuff was near invisible against her dark primary but the yellow is a slight give away and it makes her stand out a bit more

Same as Firys he is a surprise from your den, but for completely different reasons, he's an all basic lad instead! sure he ain't the only one but the white/deep pink contrast is perfect to me! sometimes basic is great as it is and there's no wrong with that <3 (also playing around in the scrying workshop he's kinda identical to a kiddo of mine so, more love to him!) he has lots of potential as well if ou decide to gene him too :D

I came back and had to pick what I assume is your progen, Pyldroras. She has a very curious name too; but what I liked of her is how she reminded me of my own progen (she's a fae too) there's something in her behaviour that really reminded me of what I wanted to work with my own and has kinda inspired me to pick on what I got and finish stuff even lol. she's lovely and so green~ it's beautiful <3

I love that small bit of his life in his bio and probably something I rarely see regarding exalting being seen as a "moving forward" kind of thing instead of the end of a dragon's life
Morrigan has some neat dark bright coloring~ rosette is a secondary you don't see much out there but here it works amazing on this girl! the green lace stuff was near invisible against her dark primary but the yellow is a slight give away and it makes her stand out a bit more
I do like to pick some odd colored kiddos so Firys is here to show that! at first glance there's not much to pick from him but watermelon rosette is a huge eye catcher imo, that green fade is soft and non-agressive but still makes the kiddo so different from the others in this page, I don't know how but I kinda dig his colors a bit too much <3
Same as Firys he is a surprise from your den, but for completely different reasons, he's an all basic lad instead! sure he ain't the only one but the white/deep pink contrast is perfect to me! sometimes basic is great as it is and there's no wrong with that <3 (also playing around in the scrying workshop he's kinda identical to a kiddo of mine so, more love to him!) he has lots of potential as well if ou decide to gene him too :D
I came back and had to pick what I assume is your progen, Pyldroras. She has a very curious name too; but what I liked of her is how she reminded me of my own progen (she's a fae too) there's something in her behaviour that really reminded me of what I wanted to work with my own and has kinda inspired me to pick on what I got and finish stuff even lol. she's lovely and so green~ it's beautiful <3

I love fire/forest combo dragons. The look is great, plus it actually makes a lot of sense from an environmental standpoint. His bio pretty much sums that up too, and very succinctly. I said before that Agora was my favorite but I might actually have to change my mind on that... He's a dragon that would fit well in my own lair.

I.... really love Ashe. She doesn't have much lore, but I feel like it doesn't matter for her. You've told a whole story with just apparel. If this was a steal a dragon thread, she'd be a no brainer. When the cannon lore talks about how archaeologists and explorers gravitate to the ice flight, she's the exact kind of dragon I think of.

Black apparel is a perfect choice for him too and it gives a good contrast to his pale colours.
