CLAN DIRECTORY
Lair
- Directory: The tab you're currently in. Self-explanatory.

- The Sun Palace: Zenith's Light has carved out their home on the cliffs and beaches of the Beacon, near the tumultuous seas below. On the surface city of Zenith's Light, the largest building is the Sun Palace, where the main royal family live and where most administrative matters are carried out. The Clan also occupies a sizeable space on solid ground near the cliffs, between the Sundial Ruins and the Beacon. Location in Elio's bio. Everyone else is in the HibDen to save space.

- Seaward Coves: Zenith's Light doesn't just own the cliffs - they own a few cave networks by the beach as well. Residents include most of the Undertides for obvious reasons, and a bunch of other dragons who fish and harvest aquatic plants for a living.

- Obsidian XXYs: Psuedo-Flight Reps. The actual Flight Ambassador Office is in the HibDen (see below). And yes, there's a reason the Lightning one is missing - go check the next tab.

- Eternal Star Observatory: The place itself is right next to the Clan, Ava Starling paid for it (don't ask where the cash came from) and Regina (who co-owns it with Nebula) went around hiring people. At this point, it's more of a research centre than anything; the name is a misnomer now. Everyone else is in the ESO Holding to save space.

- Everwinter Estate: Kids that the normally lazy Archmage Polaris Everwinter took one look at and decided to adopt, thanks to various circumstances. This honestly contains the bulk of Polaris' story, other than the references to her scattered around in various places. They (and Polaris herself) live in Everwinter Estate, west of the main Clan, because apparently being an Archmage pays well, and she's normally quite frugal.

  • Polaris: Hiems Manor, on the tallest hill smack in the center of the estate, complete with basement. Polaris constantly updates the security and challenges Ava to break into it successfully (the current tally is Ava 83 - Polaris 2). Ryuhyo lives in one of the rooms.
  • Ritto: Glaciēs Cottage in the north, next to the small river that meanders into the western part before flowing into the lake in the southwest.
  • Shosetsu: Zaspa Lodge in the east, because he wanted the small snowbank of Eternal Snow for... some reason.
  • Taisetsu: Ningor Barn, on the western flat stretch of plain, maintains the sprawling garden nearby. Also grows plants for consumption near the river, thanks to irrigation. Half of said plants are tea plants (thanks to Polaris, naturally).
  • Toji: Brūma Heights, on the slightly smaller hill next to the Hiems Manor. A pretty decent bungalow, actually.
  • Shokan: Grandō House, on the northeast side of the estate.
  • Daikan: Shimoyake Cottage near Shokan's place.
  • Riyuki: Pruīna Hall, in the southern part of the estate.
  • Soko: Poledica Tower, which is connected to the building Polaris got constructed specifically for the library, across from Hiems Manor.
  • Kanro: Pīnētum Cabin, near the edge of the woods (aka the western edge of the property)
  • Hatsuyuki: Snöslask Lakeview, right next to the lake in the southwest, part of the house is underwater. Grows freshwater plants and tends to the fish in the lake.
  • Kosetsu: Névé In-Hill Burrow (based off The Shire from Lord of the Rings), near Polendica Tower.
  • Fubuki and Yukino: Blue Ice Caverns, an underground cavern far below the surface, with its bunker-like entrance in the side of the hill near Hiems Manor. Both split the area underneath Hiems Manor in half, and are competing to have the "best" tunnel network.

- Dawn Senior's Retirement Home: Now that Dawn Senior's out of Exile (see the Lore section below), she's got her own retirement home one of the older mansions south of Everwinter Estate. More often than not, she's probably either in the library, the gardens tending to her own plants, or trying to chase after Expio before they set everything on fire.

Hibernal Den
- The Flight Ambassador Office: Exactly what it says, all the Flight Reps and Assistant Reps stay here. Pen-pushers abound, office politics galore, overstaffed Wind and Lightning, incompetent Nature, and a very reluctant goddess of strife being forced to be the Plague Head of Department while getting her entertainment by doing what she does best, but that's just part of the job by now. May or may not have been involved in the April Fools' 2023 Incident. Also totally not an excuse to have dragons just to put festival apparel / genes on.

- Zenith's Light: The main surface Clan. Holding dragons due to lack of space in the Lair.

- Sahar Underground City: The underground city underneath Zenith's Light that links the clifftops (where the main Clan is) and the Seaward Coves. Tuuli operates the lifts that brings dragons straight between the surface and the Seaward Coves. The centre of this underground city is one giant gentle helical slope with railings that can fit two Imperials side-by-side, and in the centre of the helix was a large hole so an Imperial can fly upwards without issues.

Each of the seven floors of Sahar, not counting the ground and top floors, is like its own mini fiefdom, with different dragons holding dominion of each one. Elio has effectively handed over leadership to the old Council of Leaves since he has his claws full with running the surface city, and as such things tend to be run a lot differently down here.

Has seven levels, but they don't count the top and bottom floors:
  • The top floor is an elevator that belongs to Tuuli (and by extension, the surface).
  • The floor immediately below the surface belongs to the aforementioned Council of Leaves, who fled here following the massive wildfire on the Light-Nature border. Here, Sakura, Victoria Summershall, and Autumnwind each preside over a third of the space. Well, Victoria tends to rotate between the surface given that she owns both Sungleam Mansion and the Summer Court, but generally she stays down here more (probably to avoid her older sister’s antics, but she won't explain why). They've done the place up quite nicely - as soon as one leaves the central lift system, the lush gardens and artificial sky quickly make dragons forget that they're underground. It also helps that this area is by far the largest, since it's the easiest to dig out and also the top layer.
  • On the second floor, Daisy has set up her Faerie Court. The first and second floors’ magics and plantlife tended to bleed into each other, so while the second also has forest, it more resembles a Seelie Court. It also happens to be populated by the Faerie, and that is a whole other host of issues.
  • Once one clears those two floors, things progressively get a lot seedier. The third (and middle) floor is home to The Stunned Glass. It's an open secret that Elwy runs an underground (in both senses of the term) fight club in her tavern, and that sort of business tends to attract a certain sort of clientele. Nobody else dares to dispute sovereignty over that floor (except maybe Elio) because on a good day Kaho can throw rowdy customers out of the door and straight into the flight chasm with his patented Fastball Special; most dragons, owing to their generally squishy nature and reaction times that aren't that fast, don't really want to fall four floors to hit the rocky ground at the bottom. It's also the prime location for dragons who don't wish to be overheard, but Ava has ears everywhere so their efforts in avoiding detection are rather futile. If anything, it makes them even more conspicuous.
  • Just below that floor lives Rashad the merchant, who infamously engages in price gouging, but is also the only general goods store owners down here. Those that do live here either have to go to the surface to buy from the various grocers up there or are forced to buy from him. The floor used to be a bustling merchant area, but ever since he used some rather unsavoury tactics to buy over all his competition, it's safe to say that the floor belongs to him in all but sovereignty.
  • Formerly the location of Base VISHAP. [REDACTED]. See that lair tab. Nowadays, it's become the HQ of the Sahar Digging Corps, where the dragons help expand Sahar as a whole.
  • The bottom floor is part of the Seaward Coves proper, and is literally just an entrance to the giant ramp.

- ESO Holding: See the Eternal Star Observatory above. Extra slots.

- Sungleam Mansion: ABC Challenge with Dawn's descendants. ALL NON-DESCENDANTS EXCEPT REGINA (lore reasons, she's in Eternal Stars) WERE EXALTED. Yes, they're still being gened, once I have the money I'll do it. Lore-wise, these are the notoriously reclusive Summershalls (a cadet branch of the Blazelights that started with Victoria Summershall Blazelight, not to be confused with Victoria Amaryllis). The Mansion is northwest of the main Clan and north of Everwinter Estate. Honestly, I've only really touched Zia, because she's lore-important.

- Crows: All the Effluvial Crows, Jackdaws, Magpies, etc.

- Research Labs: What the Eternal Star Observatory was originally a front for, but the ESO became its own thing. The Labs are kept secret thanks to NDAs, but it and its Researchers are not as secret as they like to think - after a while, stuff leaks out anyway. Technically the ones in this tab are the Researchers who are not tied down to a particular Base / oversee everything. Most of the Labs High Command are in the Bases / Task Force HQ below.

- Research Labs Task Force HQ: A branch of the Research Labs. Elite units composed of personnel from across Zenith's Light and beyond. Mobilised to deal with specific threats or situations that sometimes exceed the operational capacity or expertise of regular field personnel and/or are highly confidential. See Tabit for more details.

- Bases YGGDRASIL and BIFRÖST: Technically, the base camp set near the Forbidden Portal for easy access is Base YGGDRASIL. There's also a base on the other side of the Portal; that's Base BIFRÖST. Different Bases, but functionally the same since both are in close proximity to each other. This is where the Forbidden Portal Expedition Team sets up camp. (Bases YGGDRASIL and BIFRÖST exceed the character limit, so just YGGDRASIL it is.)

- Base VISHAP: The location of Project Kinugasasō, i.e. a hidden cavern within the Seaward Coves where the Researchers take care of the rescued Mutants and other genetically-altered anomalies.

- Base MEHEN: Perhaps the Lab's best-kept secret. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

- Sages of Ouroboros: The cult worshipping [REDACTED]. Believes that [REDACTED] is a deity even greater than the Eleven and that they will experience salvation when it awakens. [REDACTED] has contacted the leader telepathically about its imprisonment, but not its whereabouts, which the cult is attempting to find. Base MEHEN's sworn enemy.

- Eclipse Dynasty: Deep within the Hewn City resides Dusk - driven mad by the Shade - and her illusory companions. Then Caligo, fed up with what she perceived to be "Elio's incompetent leadership and Regina's blatant puppetering", declared mutiny and took some dragons with her. The Shade did the rest of the work. Currently, the rest of the Clan are at war with them- sorry, were, see the April Fools' 2023 Incident.

- Graveyard: Deceased dragons.

- Dragon Roost Den: Named after Dragon Roost Island from Wind Waker. Holds all the extra dragons because there's no space in the main Lair and I exalt fodder during Light pushes. Also holds dragons with no lore yet / under rewrite.

- Fandragons 1: Genshin Fandragons.

- Fandragons 2: Everyone else who isn't from Genshin. These are really old and I haven't touched them since 2019-ish, so...

- Gen 1s: Exactly what it says, they're Gen 1s to be gened. Scries in bios. Arranged according to age. Page 2 can be bought unless otherwise stated in their bios, PM me.
