Biography
KB Trainer, belongs to ShinyDecidueye
A foreign prince from the Phirus Dynasty, a rival Clan west of Zenith's Light situated somewhere near the Sundial Terrace. Always on the cutting edge of fashion. Looks down on those who aren't. Will not take ANY insults of his peerless beauty. Every piece of jewellery he wears must be accurately placed to the micrometer, if it isn’t, the world will go up in flames. He just knows it will.
1. 80% of the time, the dragons involved in the lore have surnames. If they're not stated in any bio, they're in my personal lair tracker spreadsheet (not sharing because of spoilers). 99% of the time, both names and surnames (and sometimes even Familiar names) that weren't chosen by the randomiser are Meaningful Names, references to various stuff, and/or puns. Yes, even the dragons who don't exist as anything other than scries. Disclaimer: I used Wiktionary and Wikipedia for a lot of these, so it might not be too accurate.
2. Everything is linked. Everything. (Well, almost everything, but especially with the newer dragons.)
3. In the later ones, I try my hand at epistolary form; here's the Transcript Guide
4. A lot of the older lore was written when I was much younger and immature so I'll overhaul it eventually. Key word being eventually.
Season 1 - Family Drama (Needs a Rewrite)
Dawn Sr, Dusk, Ignatius, & Revelough
Because it needs a rewrite, I'll summarise it here - Dawn Sr and Dusk fought for the throne, shenanigans included Dusk usurping Dawn, trying to send an assassin after the latter when she fled (the assassin fortunately didn't kill her), and attempting to discredit her as much as possible. Dawn fled with Ignatius, returned to claim her rightful place and married Iggy, but Dusk somehow busted out of the prison. Anyway, the infighting attracted an Imperial called Revelough, who temporarily succeeded in taking over the Clan so everyone left banded together to form the Resistance. Revelough got personally killed by Dawn.
Season 2 - Dawn Sr Drama, Electric Boogaloo (Also Needs a Rewrite)
Golden's bio has most of it, but a series of events caused Dawn Sr to somehow get stuck in a tailor-made prison dimension (except said dimension also contained Ignatius and the ones who cast the spell). Go see Eliana's bio, followed by Ayseor (the first two, at least). Since Dawn Sr was no longer queen, Dawn Jr (her eldest child) relinquished her claim to the throne, so her younger brother and next-in-line Elio was coronated as king.
Season 3 - Dawn Jr Drama, AKA The Discontinued Pinkerlocke
Dusk goes off the deep end and starts meddling with the Shade in the Hewn City, Dawn Sr starts her own preparations with Ayseor present, so both sides started plotting.
Dawn Sr’s ultimate goal was to get out of her own dimension or at least establish two-way travel between them for Crystalline to return (because he ended up in there somehow), and she’s worked out a way to break the spells.
Before she was exiled, she confided in Primal (the only one she could trust with such a secret) that she was going to eventually break out (and called it Project Dagian), but first, she needed a sizeable amount of dragons populating the remains of the old Council of Leaves, and Dusk planting Char's egg there was the perfect excuse for Primal and Dawn Jr to investigate. Then, she anticipated the Forbidden Portal opening, and then bet on them clearing out a Serthis lair on the border to restore it to its Gladekeeper Temple days so that there would be enough magic to summon a portal and bring Crystalline, Ayseor and herself through during the Brightshine Jubilee.
Dawn Jr did NOT know this, so naturally she was quite unimpressed when it actually happened in the end:
Anyway, what worked worked and obviously it was a bit too late to take it back. Dusk also severely ramped things up by experimenting with the Shade, which leads to...
Season 4 - A Lot Of Simultaneous Plotlines
While Season 3 was happening in the new Council of Leaves / Trading Post, Dawn Sr sought a way for her to exert her influence in the real world, hence she managed to create Regina. Regina was first a puppet of Dawn Sr, but soon gained her own sentience, so she resolved to be her own person, and declared that she didn't have any relation to Dawn Sr other than being formed from her magic and she was officially disowning her as a mother.
To counter Dusk's eventual invasion (because everyone knew it was coming), she reached out to a couple dragons: Lynx, to head Project Daybreak (finding ways to fight, counter and eradicate the Shade), Betelgeuse (to head the Orbis Alius Initiative and Project Orion), and a couple of her contacts to form the Eternal Star Observatory (to shore up the defenses of the Clan and everything). Under Elio's approval, of course.
Also meanwhile, the Summershalls (a cadet branch of the Blazelights) ended up with Zia, who (through some convoluted history and maybe influence from Project Daybreak) ended up with magic that was specifically able to counter the Shade.
Anyway, here are the lore dumps that happen during this period, following Season 3:
Season 5 - Eclipse Arc
Mutiny! (The ones in question) (WIP) (Happening around the same time as Hatsuyuki's Shenanigans)
Season 6 - The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny
Naturally, everything that everyone's been planning comes to fruition and... wait, what?
Season 7 - Just More Stuff and- is That a Cult?
After the USoUD.

Dawn Jr did NOT know this, so naturally she was quite unimpressed when it actually happened in the end:
Quote:
“Anyway, why? The only purpose of this drawn out, useless plan was to get you all back to this world, and challenge a dragon for her throne. That’s it. That’s literally it! Ayseor literally can’t do anything after getting Dusk’s seat of power. And you have a largely care-free life in your dimension anyway, you have a few kids, you tied the knot with someone, the guy that made your life a living hell is dead, what’s not to like? Seriously, you didn’t think this through, did you? And don’t get me started on how unlikely your harebrained scheme was to succeed anyway! Seriously, it’s a miracle this worked at all! You literally planted a Banescale egg in the hope that Goldenrod and/or Zaron would notice and Primal of all dragons would manage to convince him to go to the old Council! Not to mention that Primal had to keep her mouth shut for over a year - seriously?!”
Anyway, what worked worked and obviously it was a bit too late to take it back. Dusk also severely ramped things up by experimenting with the Shade, which leads to...
