雪能 -> yukino (Japanese). Meaning: gift of snow.
- Has a rivalry with Fubuki over who has the "best" lair in the Blue Ice Caverns. Fubuki tends to be more utilitarian, while Yukino likes decorating her half with all sorts of things. Well, it's more of a friendly competition, since they regularly check in on each other's progress and make jokes on their choices, but both keep an open mind of "trust the process". For her part, Yukino's built an almost video-game-like ramps and winding tunnels, magically lined with ice in some sections for a sort of underground slip-n-slide effect so even Fubuki can enjoy it without needing to curl into a ball, and the two typically bond over the whole thing.
- Competes with everyone over even the smallest things, but especially her siblings. Sometimes the rivalries are one-sided, sometimes they're reciprocated, sometimes they're friendly, sometimes they're incredibly serious, but they're rivalries all the same. Polaris is unsure whether this is her just trying to prove herself, or her just being competitive.
- Incredibly oblivious to romance of any kind. Thinks people showing her attention of any kind is just them an acceptance of her offer of rivalry. Except Polaris. Polaris completely schooled her on their first meeting, which is why she agreed to learn under her.
- Has excellent night vision.
- Dug a tunnel network that connects the area under Everwinter Estate and the Sahar Digging Corps HQ for emergency use.
- The shimmery streaks on her body, her claws, and the growths on her head, shoulders and tail seem to be made of ice, though they are relatively unbreakable. They aid her in digging and defending herself.
