The day 1 pinglist will include everyone who owns a Sunset's Legacy dragon. After that, only users who participate in this thread will be pinged for each new event. For many years, the clan was absent from the shores of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, in what is now understood to have been a magical act of protection against the great hurricane that swept away their deity. After the clan reawakened, it took a great many years to regain the power and vitality that they once boasted. [center][url=https://i.imgur.com/8S8GTzq.jpg][img]https://i.imgur.com/8S8GTzq.jpg[/img][/url][/center] [center]welcome to [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/cc/2977411]Sunbeam Grotto[/url]![/center] Sunbeam Grotto is located directly below the Zephyr Steppes, and can be accessed in a few different ways - dragons can take a narrow path down the cliff from the Windswept Plateau, or walk directly west from Churnscar Wharf (entering this map on the far left). They may choose to travel the long road down from the Scarred Wasteland that leads through the Viridian Forest, but such a journey isn't for the faint of heart nor slow of foot. The easiest way to reach Sunbeam Grotto, of course, is flying over - or swimming through - the Sea of a Thousand Currents! Along the coastline, a row of sturdy tents billow slightly in the gentle sea breeze. Out of sight, temporary dwellings have been constructed for dragons of other preferences - simply furnished caves are arranged a neat row within the travelers' den, and a number of secluded lean-tos have been constructed in the quiet Viridian Forest. Of course, there is ample room on the floor of the Fishspine Reef and within Sunbeam Grotto's underwater cave system for sea-dwelling guests! In-between (and during) activities, Sunbeam Grotto will be free for guests to explore. [center]giveaway info[/center] there are 3 ways to win a prize in this event - a daily [b]giveaway[/b], a week-long [b]raffle[/b], and a [b]coliseum scavenger hunt[/b]! anyone is eligible to enter! to participate in the [b]giveaway[/b], all you have to do is [u]post an RP comment of your dragons attending the festivities[/u]! you're welcome to enter more than once, as there will be new RP events each day. you will get a gift [u]once per day[/u] if you respond to all the prompts! • day 1 - come greet Sunset and wish her a happy birthday! dragons arriving to Sunbeam Grotto can enjoy food, live music, and party games as they get settled in.
• the scavenger hunt will open first thing in the morning!

october 19

• day 2 - take a nighttime tour of the Fishspine Reef with Mudpuppy and Minnow! dragons from all flights are welcome to participate, and magical enhancements will be provided to those unfamiliar with Water.

october 20

• day 3 - deep in the forest, join Verdigris for an open mic event! visitors can take a seat to watch performances, hear stories, listen to music, and are invited to perform themselves!

october 21

• day 4 - thanks to the hard work of the family's farmers, chefs, bartenders, tea servers, and more, an extravagant feast will be served! all are invited, and encouraged to take home any leftovers!

october 22 - the last day of the family reunion!

• day 5 is the finale event - a fireworks show by Innovative Entertainment!
• at the end of the night, everyone will be sent home so that all who celebrate may begin their riot of rot preparations ^__^

Each stage will have a set of items to collect (listed above), worth a certain number of points. At the end of the event, the points will be tallied up and the 5 top scorers can pick their choice of the prizes (the top scorer will get 1st pick, the 2nd 2nd pick, and so on!) After the family reunion ends at midnight FR time on October 22, point totals will be calculated and the top earner will be pinged as soon as possible to take first pick of the prizes.
