Biography

Tigris / Tiger | she/her | baby

Compared to her older baby cousins, Tigris is quite shy, often shrinking her tiny body into her feathers and hiding behind the other hatchlings. Few adult dragons have ever heard her voice; Tigris mostly whispers to her parents or Minnow, who then relay the little Coatl's words to others. While she doesn't seem very interested in flying, swimming, or her dragons, Tigris has quite a way with animals!

Unused as she is to crowds, Tigris did her best to stay out-of-sight when the family reunion brought great numbers of dragons to Sunbeam Grotto. Even so, one guest managed to sketch a portrait of Tigris in a moment of joy!

As Tigris munched on some fish-flaked cotton candy from Taffy's candy stand, Siet gifted the sketch to Tigris, earning the little Coatl's gratitude and a smidgen of her trust.

Luckily, Tigris was warned by one of her hatchling friends before she stepped back into the water with the paper sketch - and her half-eaten sweet treat. Apparently, neither would survive long beneath the waves...It was quite the dilemma for a young sea-dweller.

After a moment of deliberation, Tigris waddled back to Sunset's den, to leave the portrait (complete with sticky fingerprints) atop a pile of birthday gifts. Pleased with herself, Tigris stuffed the rest of the spun sugar into her mouth and ran on all fours back out to the ocean!
