Thanks for hosting this theme week, I'm looking forward to taking part in it. :D Yuriko is so gorgeous, I love the combination of black/orange/cream tones across her genes and apparel. I feel like I don't see Tiger [i]or[/i] the Wing Fans apparel very often, and she's making me wonder why because they look great on her! (Perfect familiar as well.) Auralion is just pretty all 'round - I can see why you decided they were a keeper. The combination of soothing colours, that beautiful accents and the complementary apparel pieces that march their wings ... *chef's kiss* Yes. I've never heard of the Raylings before, but what a pretty little thing Prismeria is! The firefly gene is so sparkly-looking, and I can't believe how well the Paradise Satrsilks match that shimmer ... gorgeous. My picks for this week are: Starsong (9) [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/17146975][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/171470/17146975_350.png[/img][/url] She was inspired by a comic I saw forever ago on FR Tumblr (along with her 'sister' [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/68365782]Runeroam[/url] whose genes are not quite done). While she may not be everybody's cup of tea, I love her Wind/Arcane aesthetic. Wind was my second choice of Flight to pick when I was joining, so it's nice to have a dragons to represent that! I also just the other day finished her lore, so that's another reason to share her. Berkanan (3) [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/50718323][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/507184/50718323_350.png[/img][/url] This guy was a complete impulse buy, but I think he's stunning! I saw him on the AH and fell in love, and then fell in love more when I put that accent on him. I don't really know much else about him yet. He's sitting in my Hibernal Den, which is probably why he doesn't have many likes. Jormungandr (18) [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/157421][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/1575/157421_350.png[/img][/url] Jorm is in my top ten personal favourites. He's my progenitors' son, and I am just ... generally in love with how Aqua Facet and Ice Cherub look, especially together? I also think his apparel looks great - he's been dressed like this since the Harmonious set came out (so many years now!), apart from the UMA which is a recently-ish addition. I couldn't resist: it's called Midgard Serpent!

I'd just like to say, I love the simple but amazing color coordination on both Auralion and Prismeria! They're both so shiny and absolutely to die for <3 [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/73523918][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/735240/73523918_350.png[/img][/url] 7 stars at the time of posting, Grimoire was an ugly fodder dragon turned gorgeous witch, and easily has one of the best outfits to me. The hints of vibrant purple apparel and sort of muted indigo in her wings really help her stand out as more than just an all-black spooky dragon, and I'm super proud of her. She's mysterious but well-meaning, although sometimes doesn't consider the thoughts of who she enchants (she's got a habit of giving sentience to [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/73195444]inanimate objects[/url] who have no idea what to do with themselves after waking up.) [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/62327971][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/623280/62327971_350.png[/img][/url] This is Soren, my clan leader! 7 stars as of writing, I had no idea how to dress him for a long while, but I really love his simple outfit right now. I love how the hints of red look with all his purple/black/grey, I think he's pretty fun and regal looking. Soren's goal as a clan leader is to provide a sort of comfortable sanctuary for good-hearted dragons of all kinds, and really emphasizes collaboration and community to ensure everyone can call the clan home. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/73123388][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/731234/73123388_350.png[/img][/url] It was hard to pick the third dragon for this, but I had to go with my beloved Thicket, sitting at 18 likes. I just absolutely adore his earthy colors, and with the skin, he looks like a patch of grass sprouting golden blossoms. Thicket's a gentle soul, dedicated to healing any sort of injured plant of animal he encounters [s](that isn't dinner anyway.)[/s] He loves everything about nature, and the flowers growing from his shaggy hair make other dragons wonder sometimes if he isn't a nature spirit in secret.

Your girl Grimoire is just glorious!!! Those colors are so perfect together and your eye for outfits is amazing! Had to pop in and sing her praises!

Thanks I love Grapefruit Shimmer now /lh I love white with bright, colourful accents like Raylings! Prismeria is right up my alley :) Auralion is super cute with all those soft blues, and that accent! What a good noodle. And Yuriko! A fierce-looking tigress. I definitely understand the sentimentality with apparel on certain dragons (they know who I'm talking about). Honestaly I meant to do this earlier in the week, but oh no, here comes Saturday :,) Callicarpa (Callie to her friends) is at 10 likes right now, and other than being an example of white body, bold wings, she is also sporting a super matchy accent and one of the few completed bios in my clan. I like to joke this accent was made for her. Not sure why. She is by far my favourite Ridgeback and the dragon dressed in the most silks despite being a warrior. ~Fashion~. Five gem apparel pieces, plus that accent off the AH, made me feel a little guilty, but at least now my St. Patrick's Day queen is all decked out in gold. Picking a favourite from these 3 is practically impossible, I love all of them just about equally and extra love the funthark names (I might have to steal that idea for a few relevant dragons in my own lair!). I love the arcane/wind thing going on with starsong, I love berkanan’s colours and genes with that accent (I extra love the apparel additions in his bio) and how can I not love a jormungandr with the midgard serpent accent? Impossible!

I think helpful wood-apparel wearing Berkanan is the only thing that would break this 3-way tie.

Another hard set of 3 to pick a favourite from, but ultimately I am a sucker the most for a good purple and green aesthetic. Aureole is my favourite of yours shared from this week. Those primal wind eyes look extra awesome on her dark primary!

That being said, Themis’ accent looks like it belongs with the nurtured cluster!

I understand not wanting to forget entirely and miss it for sure, but it’s also top heavy in responses when a new theme is released - swamped with them! So I definitely don’t mind straggling posts.

Of the 3, it’s a difficult choice between Callicarpa and Lucky (not that Xenalia isn’t also awesome - totes important to look as fashionable as possible when defeating your enemies and defending the clan!).

I think ultimately I’m picking Callicarpa because I am 100% a sucker for that accent (which I will someday use on someone…) and you’re right, it really does look like it belongs on her. Super lovely with the rest of her apparel.

Love that accent on Lucky too with all the chosen apparel!

Those flashes of purple in the apparel really are brilliant in the overall design. Also, I always have to stop and admire the dragons who pull off smokeswirl and its similar cousins. Every time I try on one of mine it’s just too cluttered. On Grimoire though, it’s perfection, and combines so well with the unearthly onyx grasp. She’s also fairly shy, but possesses formidable magic, both destructive and healing. She also has many stalwart allies among the local fey spirits as a liaison and cultural anthropologist of sorts.
