[center]Happy Holidays everyone! :D I'm all in for a laid back theme share, because I will be super busy until the end of the year. I'm nevertheless leaving stars and trying my best to even leave some compliments when I get the chance! For now, I want to praise [b]Ywen[/b], [b]Mithras[/b], and [b]Kaiba[/b] especially, and just wanted to let you know how unique and wonderful their designs and appearances are. I adore Ywen's spirited aura, and the glistening and shimmering sparkles they're surrounded by. I can totally imagine them bringing joy and good spirit across the dragonworld. Literally one of the best Christmas themed dragons I've ever seen! The effects and colour gradient of Mithras' genes and skincent are [i]glorious[/i]. Their crystalline appearance is breathtaking, and the accessories are perfectly chosen, and emphasize the sunlight breaking through from below in such a nice way. Kaiba is just as stunning, and that's definitely a wonderful use of the Rockoko accent. The contrast of the light blue and sunset colours is fabulous, and the magical smoke as well as the blue crystals and gemstones match incredibly well; once again you created an inspiring and outstanding design. Kudos, and Happy Holidays to you - thank you for spreading the love and for keeping this thread running even though it's holiday time! P.S. Baelor is the holy and colossal statue standing in front of the entrance of the Hidden Sanctum, made of unbreakable stone, sacred earth and pure gold. Surrounded by a deafening silence and a divine aura, his mighty and sublime presence fills the mind and soul of everyone standing in front of him. Nobody who harbors a bad intention towards the clan will be able to pass him - their hearts will be seared by his terrific eyes, their souls will be wiped away by his cherubic wings and their bodies will turn into stone. She has been abducted by "the God" for unknown reasons, who tries to fill her heart with darkness and brings her to his side. Baelor and her mother Satet managed to send her the familiar Abel as a companion, which has inherited a part of Baelor's power to protect Ruth's heart from falling for the darkness completely, while Satet made Abel invisible so that "the God" can't see him. Ruth is half dragon, half divine and mythological creature, and a deep secret lies within her heart. She once was a princess and has a dark past, where she lost her eye sight during a tragic event which also left many wounds she's covering with the wraps and shawls, and which made her realize that true beauty lies in love and inner faith, not in outward appearance. A proud and willful desert princess with a god-complex, who considers herself to be a chosen reincarnation of an ancient goddess, and can talk to snakes and all animals of the desert.

Ahh, your dragons are all so lovely! Nice assortment, too. I don't have any JBF, but I admire the subspecies, and Holly is a pretty example! Not to mention her name fits the season for which she looks so suited, in spite of her birth date! Kaiba is a beautiful combo of accent and apparel adding those blue tones to complement their natural hues. So well balanced - not at all a boring triple! I am quite charmed by Celesta! The glittery bits make me think of spun sugar, which seems right for a sugarplum ... fairy. Mithras is the one that really made me go "oooooh!" this time - def the favorite! That skinax looks made for them, and the apparel blends perfectly! Excellent choices with those pieces! Last but not least, I have to say that Ywen reminds me a lot of one of mine (who I will show you below) though probably better dressed. I absolutely love how well the Light Aura goes with the Resplendent Cane! (I love those canes, and that is a combo I hadn't considered before.) Great look overall, especially with a December birthday! I agree, it’s the perfect time for a more laid-back theme (and a well-deserved break; you put so much hard work into this thread)! Kaiba is lovely - the combination of rich orangey reds and teals is so pleasant, and the way the accent blends into the darker colors of their star/con is fabulous. Ywen and Holly are both delightfully wintery, touched with frost and beautifully elegant. And Celesta is so pretty, light and sparkling sweet like crystalline sugar. Of all of them, though, Mithras has to be my favorite. I adore the stunning cohesion between their starmap and their skin, highlighted perfectly by brighter swirling golds. They look both ethereal and earthly, like light given solid form. He also found dragon companionship with Tazenia, an off-the-grid survivalist with an ingrained distrust of the big city. Most of their children have left for the city -- lured by the glittering lights, the tantalizing hope of wealth and success and an easy life -- but their daughter Gundyr is stubbornly committed to the survivalist life. Hopefully you all don't mind my hitting the general pinglist for this, but since so many of you regularly leave me stars, I thought I should drop a line here to let you know about a raffle I'm running to help me up my star count for my upcoming birthday near the end of next month (raffle will run until the end of January 31st FRT). All dragons were good dragons for the Plautumnween triple theme. All received stars. The following people also earned some return compliments/responses. Trust me, I’d compliment everyone individually if I had the time, you all deserve it!

I hope to get the holiday triple compliments done this week too, but am thinking I’m gonna go with triple themes from now on with no more winner selections. Just gonna stay casual for a bit about this.

I’ve got an ongoing raffle that ends January 31st, every star given, even old stars is worth a ticket (but only if you claim them in the linked raffle thread). Side note: Might have too many dragons when the naming of any 7 keepers means you have to look up 3 in your alphabetical excel doc because wait who are those dragons again (Lol - looking at you Virentis, Vedia, and Zetaros)?

As for your dragons:

I no longer remember who was starred previously and who had their stars spread to their nearest pretty neighbor lol.

Thymum (and his gorgeous sister, Thymbra - I love that she pretends to have lost her memory as well <3 ) is a lovely wild druid. I adore the explosion of plants all over this shy spiral and much as I struggle with my own version of amnesia, I am still always a sucker for the trope, so his lore is fascinating to me. Please do give me a ping if these two get more story elsewhere/along the way.

Zedekiah: Look at those gorgeous deep reds and golds, those genes look so awesome with the crimson feathered wings in particular and I love the accent. Also such a sucker for when an accent is woven into intriguing lore, as Zedekiah has. I’m also super in love with that last bio art in particular <3

Numen: Mmmm yes, you always deliver so many dragons with gorgeous bio art to stare at and Numen is a prime example. I adore his autumny plague vibes and, once again, of course, the quirky, interesting lore to go with him! Also love the antlers - they match his primary so well they look like they’re truly part of him! Also really like that accent too. There’s a lot to like here honestly - I love that mantle for example, in all colours, it always looks so cozy - I want one in every shade irl lol.

Amdusias: This wonderful, intriguing guardian was on the extended HM list and caused me quite a bit of indecision for the 10th spot (Dystopia was closely behind him). You definitely deserve to be proud of this look - there’s so much detail and some of it is pleasantly surprising. I’m not a big fan of crocodile as a colour, or lionfish and smirch as a gene and this is one of those dragons I would’ve personally looked at au naturale and went eck no. So I’m super impressed with how you managed to not only salvage his look, but bolster it with just the right apparel and accent choices to make him truly stand out and yet all the nope colours and genes are still clearly visible and a glorious part of the overall yes.

Now that I’m complimenting him and paying attention to all these details, I’m even more wowed by him.

Dystopia: *Stares and stares and stares at that first bio art piece in particular. Stares some more.* Oh uh…right…words lol. Dystopia is another gorgeous plague dragon and I can absolutely see the symbology intended here - who would’ve thought swamp could be so striking? This is another one of those dragons where you can just look at her and find new details you missed. I love everything about her (well except the dystopia for obvious reasons lol). She’s a great representation while still managing to be beautiful and interesting.

And Jinx has all the adorable bio art <3 I love how perfectly matched she is to Anthora and I want to offer her all the hugs for her tragic start to life.

All of your lovelies were given a star back during Plautumnween - my favourite of the batch is Morold. I’m a sucker for those candles in all colours and I love the dapper sweep of the cape on m pose coatls too! All of the chosen apparel is awesome <3

My favourite from yours was definitely the creepy, intriguing, and colourful Snekclaroth! You said it took you a bit to recognize Reaper was wearing a skin, well it took me a little to realize Snekclaroth wasn’t lol. Every detail added from the apparel and the metallic shine of all genes is just so spot on and the plague aura is perfect cherry on top.

My 2nd favourite was Paprikath - what a gorgeous snapper babe! I’m always a sucker for autumn and she certainly delivers! Perfect genes, perfect apparel, and that accent is so marvelous too!

Zanlakeeth and Sauinth are pretty much tied. I adore Sauinth’s colours as much as you did Vindemiatrix’s that combo of purple and orange is just so good! I even like the shrap quill of the apparel, softened by the lanterns that match the steampunk tail. Also the little purple bulb <3

Zanlakeeth is killing it with those candles that perfectly match those awesome unusual earth eyes! Piemanth has also received a star and is cute <3 mmm pie.

My favourite from you for this theme was easily Calavera. In fact, she has just today been added to my (admittedly huge) bookmarked folder of faves on site! She’s just a delightful blend of orange and black with some stark contrasty skeleton white! Absolutely lovely, and I adore that accent as well - you made super good use of it! The eyes too are just perfect <3

Intriguing lore too!

Jack is also a lovely gen 1 fae! He’s definitely so apt with the theme while also having some awesome lore to go with him. That accent is absolutely perfect, as is the ghost tertiary. Every detail on him is just perfect. More than anything though I love the idea that the familiar is a guardian who wouldn’t let death come between him and his charge. Super neat idea!

Skajin is also pretty, I love all the reds and those plague eyes to go with mmmmhmmm. Of course, you’ve got 2 of my absolute favourite pieces of apparel here in any colour (the bewitching pendant and taildecor). Her certainly doesn’t qualify as too gross imo. I was intrigued by his lore and he definitely looks the part of a necromancer, I love it. Perfect accent! Also left a star for Typics <3

Meteor is a lovely snapper! I also feel she counts for autumn for sure. I think the way you described her as a warm fire in a cold environment is pretty apt - I can totally see that. You’re also right about the delight in that chain detail. I like both it and the one just under her horns too <3 For some reason it wasn’t until NOW that I realized those helms even had chains! Wow, I also missed the fact that the middle spike has a little amber-citrine flourish like cuff on it! Hang on… /goes back to look at all my dragons wearing it lol.

I am filled with joy now lol. Snappers really bring out the details in this helm, but now that I’ve had a looksee, I’ve noticed it also gave an extra flourish-jewelry-like horn cuff to my Luminarys, my f pose spiral and I absolutely adore it even more now - so thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Either way, your gal is lovely!

Trickster is an interesting gent and it took reading the blurb and then seeing the gif in his bio for me to really see the genius behind him! You’re right, that is SUPER perfect the nostrils as eyes smiley face, shrouded in cloak and hat! What an awesome fandragon!

@Lundlaeva Skip you? Skip you? Skip you? No way. Nope. Not happening. You’re one of my favourite complimenters and I always love your dragons. Each one is gonna get at least one small compliment <3 Besides, I’m already way behind on compliments anyway and too stubborn to give up lol. Speaking of which, thank you so much for the compliments this round too - including the compliment for the intro story :D

Blikjandabol - I always look forward to the dose of Old Norse mythology from you <3 and gory as it is, I LOVE that idea for his crimson crackle - can absolutely see that being what it is, and not to the point I don’t appreciate the look - it’s awesome. The lore is even more intriguing <3 also love the idea of naming him after Hela’s curtains lol.

Hela: Such an interesting looking fae! It really works for this character and the lore. Always love those candles too!

Freya: Look at this domestic sunny homemaker and her wonderful roses and her adorable primary-matching cat! For that matter, all of her cats! Kitties! Oh hey, also expensive jewelry hidden in there I almost didn’t notice lol. How very Freya. I am 100% okay with bent theme to get in a full five. All dragons can eat roses, that makes them a crop lol - also cats - especially black cats are very Halloween ;D

Qlfuss: What a delight of bright fuchsia and green! I love the wavy flow of the lines on this dragon from the mirror pose to the crystals growing from snout to backside, the vines on each wing, and the cards along the bottom. And always, the interesting lore <3 Morcant also got a star and didn’t have to be plague to get away with linking him. Being the spotlighted dragon’s QPP is enough reason on its own imo :D

Loki: I love this dragon’s colours - it’s nice to see a different sort of Loki, much as I like the primarily green and gold Marvel fandragons, it’s nice to see the mostly Norse mythology figure looking mysterious, trixie, and enigmatic in some different shades, even if still somewhat inspired by the Marvel Loki in style. I really love what the accent, arcane aura, and shadowstrike add to the whole look in particular!

All your dragons for the Platumnween theme were awesome too! Calypso was easily my fave and was definitely on the extended HM list. Though I see now Sampi didn’t make the cut lol. As someone with far too many dragons I understand. Anyway - back to Calypso who has so much going on, but not at all in a cluttered and overwhelming way - in an intriguing, you could stare for awhile and still find interesting new details to light on and delight. I’m actually rather surprised to discover she’s wearing Fourpoint Serpens! That was such a neat design of cream and blood to her primary I genuinely thought it was some bolder, geometric accent or skin I’d not yet seen before! Love all the colours on your autumnal princess <3

All dragons to this point have been given stars and compliments recorded. After I get some sleep I will nose-to-the-grindstone finish return compliments for this theme.
