There's nothing quite like Iris-bud tea seasoned with incorporeal starstuff scraped from the neon ivy that curls around the back door of the COSMOS, according to Themis' notes. A little odd, a little glowy, certainly— and occasionally anaphylaxis-inducing, if brewed with samples from the incorrect color of plant, but he isn't about to start making the same mistakes now

As the botanist of the COSMOS, Themis most often can be found flitting about among looming peepers and wriggling vines, feathers vibrant and asway much like the blossoms he studies. Quick to glean names and knowledge with nature-attuned eyes and quicker still to pick samples up from the badlands below, there is never a lack of greenery, blue-ery, red-ery and more in the spaces he most often calls his own. And if he steeps a few teas here and there, it’s all in the name of study and a good sip.

Not that he lets the others taste, the pages for safe and danger a contrast in blank lines and looping scrawl. Nor does he allow others to try and figure out the brew, careful claws smacking and feathers fanning in grave, inaudible warning to those who try. But rest assured, he'll figure it out— and it would be Themis' dear pleasure to share.

Quiet dude that is very nearly deaf, he has resorted to using sign language with his feathers (which helps him understand Faes than most Coatls), and lip-reading. He is the trusted gatherer, as the plants that are often growing around or even inside the Observatory are anything but normal.
