A somewhat shy but nonetheless cheerful and friendly dragon, Runeroam's primary role is to welcome visitors to the Clan's territory. Despite the size of the Lundlaevungar lands, she has no trouble seeking out guests no matter where they arrive - her typical Spiral energy certainly helps when she's flitting between the Starwood Strand and the Focal Point to greet new arrivals and point them towards their intended location!

To assist in her task, Runeroam is seldom seen without her trusty map of the Lundlaevungar territory. She updates it herself, using a combination of traditional cartography and Arcane enchantments, to ensure it's as accurate as possible.

She shares her home in the Spire with her sister, Starsong. The pair's origins are shrouded in mystery: they insist to everyone who will listen that they were created by the Windsinger and the Arcanist as gifts to one another, and as such are physical embodiments of both Arcane and Wind rather than being constrained to one element. Though no one really believes them, their far-fetched origin stories do no harm beyond causing confusion and bemusement.

Runeroam enjoys several activities more traditionally associated with Wind-born dragons. She is an accomplished artist and likes sketching and painting, and can play the harp and the flute: she likes indulging these solitary hobbies in the quiet time at the end of each day. However, she rarely shares her artwork and music with others beyond her sister.

The only exception are her maps. Runeroam is very proud of her cartography work and constantly works on new charts, both for practical use and for fun. The results are always beautiful works of art and valuable navigation tools.

Though she rarely leaves the lands of the Lundlaevungar, she uses Starsong's descriptions, news from visitors and travelling clanmates, and reports from Beastclan and dragon traders to make sure that her maps are up to date and as accurate as they possibly can be. The challenge of recreating an accurate and aesthetically pleasing representation of an area based on description alone is something she enjoys immensely. She in particular likes working with her sister, who knows Sornieth well but doesn't have the artistic ability to transcribe the world onto paper.

Runeroam's maps have kept Starsong and other members of the Lundlaevungar from getting hopelessly lost on many occasions.
