B I O G R A P H Y

After things got very wrong in the Cloudscrape Crags, Eliana found herself in some sort of ruins. She met a glowing Skydancer (who she didn’t learn the name of, at that time) who gave her lodging and told her she was in a separate dimension from Sornieth. After a while, she wanted to leave the ruins, but the Skydancer didn’t want her to, for fear of her safety. She was forced to fight the Skydancer to prove her strength, but refused. Eventually, the Skydancer told her that she was free to go, as long as she watched out for a powerhungry king named Ignatius, and that she would likely never see her again.

She set out in the world, coming across several familiars and befriending them. Then, she met a dragon named Gem who was minding her own business near a frozen lake. She thought she was a threat, but she refused to fight her, so they made small talk and she learned that Ignatius built a small kingdom. She didn’t tell her about the Skydancer, though. She helped Gem with building her house, in exchange for her friendship. She gifted her a Luminous Psywurm and a letter to pass to a dragon named Iris.

Eliana then went to another house, where she met Iris and Royalshimmer. They thought she was an intruder, and attacked her, but after she refused to fight and showed them Gem’s letter, they relented and let her in. She rested there, before she told them she was headed to see Ignatius. Iris was horrified, already suspecting her origins. She told her that Ignatius was looking for the blood of a Blazelight in order to escape the realm, then gave her a letter to give to a Pearlcatcher named Survivor. Eliana thanked her and left, prompting Royalshimmer to mention after she had left that she was being extremely stubborn.

B I O G R A P H Y

Eliana next met an Imperial named Metal. She learnt that he was a cartographer, and he gave her a map. A baby Emperor and a red Pearlcatcher (Survivor) also decided to join her in order to keep her safe, and Survivor was on relatively friendly terms with the king. They headed to the king’s house, which was relatively small for a castle. They went into the throne room, where the king was looking out of the window. He introduced himself and tried to make small talk, but due to Eliana’s intrusion, he had no choice but to fight her (she could tell he didn’t want to). However, Survivor, the Pearlcatcher, injured him badly in the ensuing fight, and fled in horror with Relic.

At that precise moment, the glowing Skydancer burst in and ran over in a rage, believing that Eliana had wounded Ignatius. She told Eliana that she was once Ignatius’ wife, but because she never agreed with his ideals, she left him, although she still loved him, and in response he and the rest of the dragons she had met had used their own magic to imprison her in this dimension (she was to learn that this was the simplified version, though). Ignatius then died. The Skydancer then challenged Eliana, still mistakenly believing that she had fatally wounded Ignatius. Eliana refused to fight, but was forced to do so. Eventually, after an extremely long battle, she managed to talk the Skydancer out of fighting. The Skydancer then calmed down and relented. She promised to send her back, on the condition that her necklace was to handed over to her. She did.

Eliana found herself back in the Cloudscrape Crags, where her concerned parents were standing over her. Her parents told her that they had been looking for her for an hour, so she told them what had happened. However, when she looked into the ravine, all she saw was the bottom, with no trace of a rift between worlds.

She eventually forgot about the incident as it was erased from her memory. However, one day, an apparition of a glowing Skydancer reappeared and gifted her the necklace back, before disappearing. She was utterly mystified, but her mother kept the necklace and started looking like she had just seen a god.
