Elio is HMTK (His Majesty the King). Dawn Jr's title of Princess Royal takes precedence. The rest of the immediate family are HRHs, with the exceptions of Dawn Sr (Duchess), Regina (married into the family even if she is one of Dawn Sr's aspects (and right now I don't want to think of the implications); title of Eternal Star Observatory Co-Director takes precedence), and Victoria Summershall (who is both HRH and Council Of Leaves Leader). For Victoria's descendants, they are Dukes / Duchesses (eg Zia).
For Eternal Stars, any important titles they have takes precedent over their titles. Examples include Polaris (Archmage, not Polaris, for obvious reasons, also to avoid confusion), Laurel (Chief Justice, not Lanx), Regina (see above), myself (see above), and so on. If not, they get their titles, such as Victoria Amaryllis ("Vega" / Bard), Magnolia (just "Capella") and Asteria ("Arcturus" / Inc Inc Vice-Head).
Ava and Maria are... a special case. For all classification levels below Confidential, they are just "Mintaka and "Procyon". For Confidential and above, Ava is "Delta Syndicate Boss". For Ultra Top Secret ONLY, Ava is "Delta Intelligence Agency Director", and even then this is to be replaced with "Delta Syndicate Boss" for everyone who is not Ava, Esmeralda, and Elio. Meanwhile, for Ultra Top Secret, Maria is also "Ava's Hitdragon". Morbid, I know, but it's true and she's actually a professional assassin so it counts. Everyone knows it already, anyway.
Similarly, Betelgeuse's and Lynx's positions as Directors should only be indicated on Ultra Top Secret documents, and only for those in the know to see. Betelgeuse should otherwise be "Eternal Star Observatory Researcher" and Lynx should be "Seeker".

Most cases are clear cut, and usually have two letters. Regina Blazelight becomes RB, I (Hikari Caspia) become HC, Laurel Papaver becomes LP, Elio Blazelight Shadowbane becomes ES (B is omitted to save space), Victoria Summershall becomes VS (Blazelight is omitted because she's technically a cadet branch despite being a sibling of Elio).
Sometimes, you have repeat initials and/or names. Off the top of my head, Ava Starling and Anne Seymour have the same initials; so do Maria Starling and Marie Seymour, Amalia Blazelight and Aurealis Blazelight, and Dawn Blazelight Sr and Dawn Blazelight Jr. In that case, I assign based on case; look at surnames first, then first names. ASt is a bit awkward (and also looks like Asteria), so Ava gets to become AS, and Anne becomes ASe). Same for Marie, who becomes MSe. For Amalia and Aurealis, both would fight to become AB, so the answer is neither - Amalia is AmB, Aurealis is AuB. In this case, the surname can't be used because they have the same one (they're siblings), so the first name is used (and on that note, Eileen Blazelight becomes EB since her father is ES). Finally, for Dawn Sr and Dawn Jr... both literally have the same name, so Sr becomes DSr and Jr becomes DJr.
