Biography
The village of Hollowshade has grown quite a bit since it first started, thriving with dragons from all species and flights. With the amount of dragons and visitors it has, things can be quite...confusing. A small Fae - the matriarch of the clan - directs you to a small building just past the library. Upon arrival, you peek your head in and notice it's quite dark beyond. The sign overhead looks very staid and proper, though. It reads: Job Placement and Records Office (Clan #341988).
There's a short corridor just beyond the entrance, and then a sharp turn to the right. It's nearly pitch black inside but you begin to notice faint glowing coming from the fungi dotting the floor. You thought it odd for a moment before lanterns all around you lit up with a ghostly hue. The room, you noticed, was round and appeared domed (despite the building not being round on the outside at all). In the center of it all sat a desk that was cluttered with scrolls and teetering stacks of documents that looked as if they would topple in the slightest breeze. The shelves lining the walls of the room were packed with scrolls and books - all somehow having an order and looking disorganized at the same time. It was then you noticed a large, serpentine body at the table - one who surely hadn't been there before. The blue imperial's wings shimmered in the lights as he watched you for a moment with a curious look.
"Hello there. My name is Coeus, I am in charge of giving others jobs and keeping track of them all. Please, have a seat. Let's get started."
You weren't quite sure how to perceive the large imperial, actually feeling quite intimidated, so you did as you were asked. "What exactly brings you to me today?" He asks you, startling you. You explain that you are here to learn about the inner workings of the village, resulting in an almost excited kind of reaction from the large dragon. He opened up a drawer in front of him, producing a large pile of documents from within.
"Though I cannot disclose everything, I can at least allow you to learn about the different jobs we have within our home. I assure you, they are quite kind when you meet them." He seemed to pause, debating. "Most of them are kind." He reiterated, pushing the pile towards you. A lantern floated to rest beside you, providing you just enough light to comfortable read.
So, you settle in your seat to read the documents, Coeus having let you know that if you had any questions, just ask him. The only noise after that was the faint scratch of pen on parchment.

Governmental Affairs "Though we may not be as big as other clans, we live by a loose order. Our Matriarch is very lax on rules, but some get enforced more than others. There are few who dare disagree with her, and several work with her." |

Occasionally, Calypso will be resting on top of his head if she decides to join him. PROPHET ; shadowbinder's messenger Born to Calypso and Apep, Prophet was blessed by Shadowbinder herself. They handle all information that the Shadowbinder may have for the clan, and though they cannot 'see', they have vivid visions. |

SALANG ; arcane Nobody remembers when Salang first came to Hollowshade, but he came bearing the mark of the Arcanist. Salang is the easiest to get along with and often multi-tasks. SAMHAIN ; fire Samhain had originally been sent to learn the differences in metalworking between shadow and fire territories. She bears the mark of the Flamecaller. |

MARCELINE ; earth Hailing from Dragonhome, the Earthshaker has blessed her with his mark, and she tends to be the smartest of the ambassadors. BOREAS ; ice The coldest of ambassadors, Boreas's strong suit has always been politics. His decision-making is swift, logical, and often at the expense of others. |

KHEPRI ; light Kehpri bears the mark of the Lightweaver upon his flank and can usually be found going over the laws of philosophy. He tends to ask a ton of questions at meetings. FOREST ; nature Forest came bearing the mark of the Gladekeeper on their bark-like skin. They are the calmest ambassador. |

TEMPESTAS ; lightning Newest to join, she bears the mark of the Stormcatcher. Slow to anger, Tempestas may be the most level-headed of the ambassadors. PESTI ; plague They weren't the original ambassador for plague, they were simply the embodiment of pestilence. Due to this, there is a sickening aura about them. |

EIRLYS; water Eirlys bears the mark of the missing Tidelord. She prefers to watch and observe, politely stepping in if she is needed. She has extensive knowledge on all types of aquatic lifeforms. |

VOIKEN ; innkeep As the innkeeper for the clan, Voiken is in charge of taking note who each traveling dragon that visits our clan is, as well as any of our dragons who go off to travel the world. (he also keeps track of if they are active, serving a deity, or found a new home) XANTH ; libraian The clan's librarian, Xanth can often be found in his library. While it is under construction, the first floor is accesible and has books on everything you can think of, as well as our record books. |

ALAN ; defense administrator Working alongside Azurite to train new recruits, Alan is also in charge of making any defensive plans of action and is often on edge. ARES ; war chief Perhaps the most hotheaded of the clan, Ares is a strong and ruthless warrior. He keeps recruits well trained and always has a plan of attack should war break out. |

AZURITE ; coliseum captain Azurite is in charge of training new recruits in order to assure the safety of the clan. He's one of the strongest warriors in the clan. AERONWY ; alchemist Aeronwy dedicates her life to alchemy.One of her projects caused her wings to look the way they do, while another brought forth her familiar. Sometimes she will concoct things for other dragons upon request. METEOR ; astrologist Meteor had come crashing into the clan from the stars much like his namesake suggests. Due to this, he has extensive knowledge of the stars and serves as the clan astrologist. (He's actually a celestial deity trapped in a Mirror's body) |

SERENITY ; botanist Serenity is often found in her gardens, tending to the plants and taking care of the weeds. Nobody is quite sure when she arrived or where she came from, they just know that she has vast knowledge of flowers and she runs a flower shop. XYLA ; exotic botanist Xyla much prefers the company of her glowing mushrooms and exotic plants over visitors. She is constantly documenting new information about the plants she studies, sharing the information with only Serenity and her mate, Xanth. |

SHADEBLOOM ; necromancer Shadebloom is often avoided, mostly due to the fact he is Shade-Touched. He is unsure of how or when he became so, but has managed to keep the infection from taking over entirely due to a elixir of his own creation. He also rose Judas from the grave. ELIER ; illusionist and tarot reader Eiler is exceptionally gifted in illusionary magic, able to create full body illusions for a limited amount of time. When he isn't practicing, he reads Tarots for any dragon who asks. For a fee, of course. |

SEKHMET ; oracle Brother to the water ambassador, Sekhmet has the ability to foresee things before they happen. His visions may not seem trustworthy, but he hasn't been wrong yet. |

MUNANA ; clan elder and matron Mate to Pendragon, Munana was dubbed a den mother the day she arrived. The oldest dragon within the clan, she is well respected and greatly loved. She fully relies on her Garden Watcher due to the fact she was born blind. REESE ; familiar caretaker Reese is in charge of keeping track of all the familiars the clan comes across, as well as any familiars who have been awakened. Those who do not bond with a dragon get trained and cared for until they find their forever dragon. |

ANGELICA ; hatchling caretaker Angelica works with and for Munana. She helps take care of any hatchlings the clan has or receives, watching and nurturing them until they grow up. |

RAIN ; chef Rain is the owner and head chef of 'The Olive Clove'. He found a passion for cooking when he was young, and to this day, he is still learning new recipes to try, especially from travelers. Quincy often helps out in the kitchen, from getting Rain ingredients to helping him wash dishes. INDIRA ; lantern lighter When night falls or the storms come near, someone must light the way, and that has been Indira's job over the years. She now makes sure the pathway for the travelers and clans members alike is always lit by enchanted lanterns so they find their way. |

LETHE ; inn receptionist Despite their appearance, Lethe is harmless. Two heads aren't always better than one, they both tend to get into arguments with eachother even at work. But they mean well, and are overall a kind dragon. ELEGANT ; library receptionist Elegant blends in well with the dark, and tends to stand still like a statue. She doesn't really like too many people so she instead chooses to work with Xanth at the library, working behind the desk. |

Inventory "Our clan has needs and with those needs comes those who take care of inventory. To keep things more organized, more than one dragon takes part in this, each taking on a different branch. There are dragons not listed here that fall into this category, but they are currently not in the lair. All wishlists can be found here." |

HORUS ; familiar wishlist Horus is in charge of keeping track of familiars the clan does not yet have. While there are several the clan would definitely prefer to have, the goal is to find and register every familiar eventually. |

Others "While these dragons have jobs within the clan, they don't seem to fall into any one category. Regardless, they are still very important to the smooth flowing of the clan. Some members of this category are part of different subspecies." |

RA ; cursed clansmen Ra used to be the loud, demanding head guard of the clan, calmed only by his mate, Serenity, and his brother, Anubis. A dragon had come through and next thing they knew he could no longer speak. He had been cursed to be mute with no idea how to break it. ANUBIS ; afflicted coatl - carrier Younger brother to Ra, Anubis was always sickly. When it came to light that he was a carrier of the Nosos virus, he and Ra were kicked out of their previous clan. They found Hollowshade, and he met his ate shortly after. She helps quell the voices in his head.(this dragon is part of a subspecies) |

FILIGREE ; warm homunculi Warm to the touch, Filigree had actually been created as opposed to hatching from an egg. Known as a Warm Homunculi, Filigree is unable to relay any emotion. (this dragon is part of a subspecies) LUCIVAR ; burial guardian Lucivar is dead. He's forced to live within his own personal purgatory, protecting the souls of the recently deceased within the clan to ensure that the Shade doesn't get to them first.(this dragon is part of a subspecies) |

NUIT ; 100 hatchling matriarch The matriarch of her own 100 Hatchling Challenge, Nuit has alot going for her. She was brought back from death by the Shadowbinder despite being from a different flight, and the only thing she has to her memory is the name she chose for herself. |

The Horsemen "Nobody quite knows where or when these four showed up, but they are to be avoided at all costs if possible. The exception is Pesti as he is also our plague ambassador. Even so, be very cautious of these four." |

PESTI ; embodiment of pestillence The first horseman, Pesti is the physical embodiment of pestillence. A sickly aura hangs around them and anyone who comes near them, without precautionary measures, tends to get sick. Exceptions are the other horsemen and plague dragons. FAMINE ; embodiment of famine Third horseman of the apocalypse, Famine is just as their name says. They are the physcial embodiment of Famine and anyone who comes near them begins to feel week and become nearly skin a bone. Only exceptions are other Horsemen and their Mate, Marvia. DEATH ; embodiment of death The fourth and final Horseman, Death was the first to appear in the clan. Nobody knows where they came from or why they are in the clan, but nobody dares to ask questions. Those who are around Death feel ill and,after long term exposure, end up dying. The only exceptions are the other horsemen and the clan founders. |
