- Colorful in both appearance and personality, Salang is pleasantly easy to get along with. Unlike many Arcane scholars, he's not stuck up or distant, and despite his love of studying the stars and various tomes, he's more than happy to multitask and talk to anyone during his duties as Ambassador. He says that things get monotone after a while, so he welcomes the company.
- Salang has excellent long term memory, which is one of the many reasons why he gained the ambassador status. However he's got TERRIBLE short term memory; you'll be hard pressed to make him remember what he ate for breakfast that day. It's nothing severe though, hell eventually remember, but he's so focused on so many things at once that he just, blanks on some things occasionally.
- Salang has a special connection to magical crystals ever since he hatched. In fact, his egg itself had been lightly covered in a crystalline sheen which is also present on many parts of his body- namely his wings and antlers. When passing by crystals that contain magic energy, Salang and the crystals themselves glow slightly, as if "communicating" in a language only they understand. It's one of many mysteries he won't elaborate on when asked about it.
- Salang is always cool to the touch, like glass. It's not that he's cold, but somehow his outer body temperature never seems to change unless he's in a seriously drastic climate (such as a desert biome). It makes hatchlings really keen on touching his scales, as, when they do, they also feel a little tingle of energy run through them and it makes them giggle.
