S E R E N I T Y HOLLOWSHADE - BOTANIST PERFECTIONIST – NURTURING – KIND |

"Every breath we take, every step we make, can be filled with peace, joy and serenity. " - Thich Nhat Hanh Serenity is often found in her gardens, tending to the plants and taking care of the weeds. Nobody is really sure when she arrived, or where she's from. They only knew that she was the type of dragon who would rather spend time amongst the flowers than with any of the other clan. Serenity lives up to her namesake, being quite calm and at peace unlike some of the other members of Hollowshade. In fact, she is the polar opposite of her mate, Ra. While she is calm and peaceful, he was loud and demanding. But it was only due to the fact he was the head guard of the clan they both call home. However, now that he has been cursed to live mute, things have been odd. Serenity balances out Ra's temper, and is the only one who can really calm him down. When she speaks, it is soft and sweet. Though due to her not talking much, most of the clan quiets down when the coatl opens her mouth. When she isn't tending to her gardens, she can be found wandering amongst the mushrooms and taking care of any wandering hatchlings, should she need to. |

The runt of the family, Serenity was left out in the wilds of The Shifting Expanse. She didn't understand it at first, but soon learned not to question it and soon it was forgotten in her mind that she was abandoned by her family. She began to travel, wanting to get out of the horrid land she was born to, and soon found herself discovering plants that were so different from her home territory. She wanted to learn about them, about the things that fascinated her so. Once she reached the Sea of a Thousand Currents, she had decided to stop and learn about the plants from a local dragon. It was here she took up the hobby of gardening, and not to long after learning all she could from the old dragon,Serenity continued her journey. It was unsure of when she reached The Tangled Wood, but she knew somehow that it would be her new home. She wandered deeper, unable to see in the murk that hung above, she somehow found a new companion who had wandered into the Wood long ago. The Wildwood Owl, whom she had fondly named Mooch, had taken to her and lead her through the wood and toward the glowing mushrooms of the Wispwillow Grove. Here, she found a new home, a clan who would come to accept her. She followed the voice of another dragon, one she would learn was named Aster, to the Hollowshade Clan. It was here that she grew up, here that she found a mate in Ra, the loud head guard of the clan at the time. With Mooch by her side, she became the gardener of the clan, living up to her namesake and finally feeling at peace and welcome. When a wandering Dragon visited their clan and cursed Ra to live the rest of his days mute - unless the curse were to be lifted - Serenity wasn't sure what to do. He could no longer be the head guard, and instead began spending his days among their den or with his brother. Serenity had a bad feeling in her gut. |
