oh man i got the idea for this when i was exhausted last night and then today was so busy (without warning :/) that i completely forgot about it.. my computer deciding that crashing w/ ten minutes to go before rollover would be fun did not help so. oh well here it is anyway even tho it wont get judged

also Walu uses he/they i guess

It was an exhausted and unhappy Walu who approached the Sunbeam Ruins that evening. It had been a long journey, and an unexpected storm had forced them to go around the lair they normally stopped to rest at.

At least they could always depend on their trusty familiar to keep them company-

Hold on.

Where the hell is that thing?

Walu looked around in confusion, but not panic - it wasn't uncommon for the little Spectre to vanish from view on occasion, though it normally wasn't so hard to find the little guy.

There!

Walu darted after the Lux Spectre's flickering trails, grumbling at the game it had decided to play without warning. Sure, he'd managed to make it to the Ruins ahead of schedule despite the storm, but he was still running on a time limit! Where the hell was that thing going?

...A bakery?

Well, that was odd. It wasn't as though the Spectre needed to eat anything - It was one of the reasons Walu didn't mind it hanging around.

Well, didn't mind it hanging around most of the time. Sometimes he just cursed the fact that he felt enough of a sense of obligation towards it to keep it from bothering random bakers!

Why in Sornieth is it going inside?

Walu pushed the door open tentatively, blinking at the warmth and delicious smells of the bakery.

Oh, they realised as their bad mood lifted, blinking at the brighter lights inside the store. That's why.

I won one of the daily challenges! So happy. ^^ Now I need to find a dragon that looks similar to Apollo, and he must preferably be a gen one; ...expensive, but it'll be so worth it! /haha

Congratulations to all the winners! And a big congrats to @Saronai; you are a great rival, and it's fun to run into you in the contests we both decide to participate in. ;)

Thank you so much for organizing this event, I had a lot of fun. ;D
