[size=4][b]Further explanation on books[/b][/size] The books are recolored to fit your dragon as well as possible. All book designs have three colors, but that doesn't mean those colors will necessarily match the dragon's primary/secondary/tertiary color. A triple obsidian dragon with a blue accent and purple clothing will probably get a black/blue/purple book, not a plain black one. Some dragons have more than three prominent colors (especially ones with genes like Poison, Butterfly or Skink!) We will do our best to make the book resemble the dragon, but we may have to leave some colors out. Artists may use colors from a dragon's apparel or accent in the book. If you don't want that, be sure to let us know! If you have very specific ideas about which colors you want to be represented on the book, feel free to mention so in your post! Preferably directly above your dragon image or at the top of your post. It is possible to base several books on one dragon, or base the books on something else entirely. Different artists may have different things they're comfortable doing, but in general we're a flexible bunch. Just ask! [size=4][b]Further explanation on recolored bookends[/b][/size] Some of the bookends are now available for recoloring, much like the books are. Not every bookend is available for this, and some of the bookends can only be recolored a certain way. None of the bookends necessarily have a "primary/secondary/tertiary" placement scheme, so if you'd like colors placed in a specific place please let your artist know! [img]https://i.postimg.cc/0jcShY8s/greyscale-recolored-bookends-lineup.png[/img] In the above image I tried to recolor the different sections with contrasting shades of grey to hopefully illustrate the difference between Style A and Style B, and to show what exactly is getting recolored. In all versions of Style A, there are shadow and highlight layers for each of the three sections. In all versions of Style B and the bookends that only have the one style, the shadows and highlights are themselves recolored. If you'd like an available bookend to be recolored in a way that isn't shown in the examples, be sure to ask your artist about it! They may be able to help you, but it may cost a little extra. It's very nearly the same Library as you've known and loved since 2016, just with a new OP to make things easier on our beloved Poisonedpaper. Well, that's not the only thing that's new... We're now offering a limited selection of bookends that can be RECOLORED just like our books can! Recolored bookends, something I've personally been wanting for a while, are finally here. They're VERY similar to books when it comes to ordering them, both in how they're ordered and their price. But because bookends are usually also flipped, I decided that the [b]mirror image[/b] of the bookend(s) you order will be added in for no extra charge! There is at the time of this posting one "set" of bookends that are broken up into two, the dagger bookend. One is the pointy bit, the other is the hilt. I spent a few hours debating how this style would work with recoloring, and settled on just treating them like wholly separate items as recoloring them is more like recoloring two separate bookends than just recoloring one and reversing it. A few new designs are also launching with this thread, and I'll post them and tag their respective artists here!
