What do I define as Tragic??? Well I'm talking lore-wise. Honestly I'm looking for heart-wrenching lore that will make me cry. Show me what you got. Me??? Well I got a couple of heart-breaking stories. He was killed but brought back to life as a Shade possessed monster. He can never die. Was once a kind and naive prince but was corrupted into a monster. Killed all his subjects in a single night. Now wanders the wilderness hoping for forgiveness. Lives in fear of the Shade possessing him again.

Lost his mate, their adopted daughter, and their adopted son is in prison. Afterwards he eventually adopted another daughter who is cursed with being eternally youthful but can see ghosts [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/60944378][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/609444/60944378_350.png[/img][/url] Escaped a worse fate and now acts as a warrior for hire after the tragic start to life [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/76106861][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/761069/76106861_350.png[/img][/url] Thought she was cursed and ended up having some tragic things happen, including being driven out. Now works for a tyrant, which isn't really much of an improvement

His mate died at a young age and, on his own deathbed as he looked forward to seeing her again, the Icewarden "blessed" him with eternal life. [font=American Gothic][size=4]Since my lair is a slow-burn horror, it's filled with a lot of dragons with tragic beginnings and endings, some due to their own fatal flaws. But I'll highlight three's tragic tales. She died because of her, probably. Now her memory is unreliable, changing with whoever wants the death story to be. They were sequestered away and gained an ageless body from the bountiful magic that infused their core. They'll get a happier ending. Eventually.
