She doesn't remember when it started.

Lisa set her alarm. She went to bed. She woke at dawn to a familiar ring, only to be greeted by a slight blur in her eye. She shrugged it off as allergies, and went to work, as any good employee should.

The second day was similar to the first. So was the third. And the fourth. By the end of the week, she could hardly see. Everything was triplicate. She tried to find what was wrong, but her reflection was blurred beyond recognition. Bright lights started to hurt. They told her to call off, but there was an instinctual drive pushing her to continue.

She still showed up for work.

REDACTED had found her there, in the decrepit ruins of a hospital. She was wandering aimlessly, shambling down halls. Grasping for something. Anything. Her eyes had multiplied. There were dozens now. She reached out to REDACTED, asking if he'd been helped. The other didn't reply. He merely brought her back to Schwartz Industries.

Her contract consisted of her treatment. The virus was under control. She could see again... not that she really wanted to. It's then that she became the Night Nurse - never the one you wanted, but always the one you got.
