The extra tail segments are a great improvement. Before the transition was just too jarring but now it looks more natural. I love the change!

I'm not one to care much if a gene is gem or not. If I like a gene combo I'll eventually have it (I say with 80 projects in my den.)

While I don't think I'll use it much just due to my taste in gen ones, I love the new gradient and it's so much less of an eyesore.. especially the new "glow" that was added too!

It feels more like a gem gene now, and I feel like I should point something out..

It's likely a gem gene because it's a tertiary counterpart to bee/wasp

which makes sense in my opinion! The best tertiaries to me are capsule and stained due to the color changing capabilities and simplicity. I love the simplicity and shininess of this new version of glowtail... and I hope i can find a dragon to put it on soon!

I walked in on the announcement thread when it was already locked (and on fire) with admins saying they'll rework it.

Looking at the old vs new it's vastly improved and looks so much nicer/cleaner

I ADORE THE NEW GLOWTAIL AND IM JUST GLAD I FOUND A THREAD TO TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH I LOVE IT OK BYE

I'm still not sure if I'll use this gene on my own dragons, but making rat/opossum scries with it is quite fun.
