Fear not! I've put together an updated version of the Redfoot guide! Since they've sadly gone inactive, their wonderful guide has gotten obsolete. So I'm here to save the day for all of us people who don't get along with spreadsheets!

This guide is currently missing the Forgotten Cave update, as I am currently on semi-hiatus. It should be underway around december. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I have added to my spreadsheet a table in which elements are ranked by boss weakness ahead of encounter frequency, for builds which don't use reflect and presumably will only ever get hit by bosses.
The rank for boss priority, assuming you only get hit by bosses, goes as such:
Please evaluate how your intended build behaves against the frog bosses to decide which list should be your priority: being resistent to most mobs OR being resistent to most bosses.

@Maki Oooh, thanks so much for the dates! I've updated everything from Redfoot's original to Cethosia's data, but I completely missed the lack of Boreal Wood and GW expansions. I'll work on that! (Off I go to make a couple more spreadsheets...)

May 10 Update: Okie Dokie, updated Golem Workshop and Boreal Woods stats are in, as well as the updated best venues for each element! All thanks to our lord and savior, Maki, the coliseum deity.
My spreadsheet for both is in 2 new tabs of Thunderspread sheetanna (the name of my thunderhead spreadsheet), linked in the first post.
Everything should now be set until the next coli update! In the meantime, I'll use some of my free time to work on recalculating Blooming Grove, Training Fields, Arena and Waterway, which weren't updated by Cethosia.

Wow!! Thank you so much for this easy - to - use GUIDE!!! <3
Wow!! Thank you so much for this easy - to - use GUIDE!!! <3
Great work with the guide, always nice to see updated work :)
I'm curious if you've considered adding a list of the best elements that only take enemy mages into account. This is usually good for 2 fod trainers in the higher venues since melee don't get a chance to use their elemental attacks, so they don't have an impact on the elemental choice. But, it might make this thread a bit cluttered, so there's that.
Anyways, great work, I hope this stays updated in the years to come :)
