They used to steadily increase in price back when I was last active. I think I remember one vial going for about 200kt LAH.
Now, about two years later, they've gotten CHEAPER. How did that happen, and why? Is there any hope of the price rising again with more time?
I have hoarded many that I grinded for back when they dropped from coli, and wanted to wait until it was really worth it to sell them... but has some new update ruined it now and that point will never come? And if so, where do I direct the crusade?
EDIT:
Wait... there are vials for EVERY eye type now?!
Including Primal and Multigaze and whatnot??
What the hell were they thinking. Didn't they ride on about the point that these should stay rare and only be obtainable on old dragons via the randomization of scattervials??
This feels like such a betrayal. Like they'd suddenly decided to re-release old festival items and give the finger to whoever had worked hard to get as many of them as they could as an investment for the future.
How are you supposed to trust anything will stay valuable, after that? They were so adamant about scattersights being the only possible way, even in future.
I made the best possible decision I could with the information I had at the time, which was to hold onto my scattersights to sell at a later date... and they backstabbed all of us who did the same.
EDIT 2:
And even ignoring the scattersight situation... this discounts special eye types so much. They used to be a new kind of G1; something you couldn't control through breeding. An exciting project. A way to give imperfect dragons value and motivate you to invest into making them perfect.
Now you can just buy an already perfect dragon, shell out some treasure to the people who snipe the vials from the marketplace and give them Primal. Or Multigaze. Or Faceted.
Look at my avatar. He's the first special eye type dragon I ever hatched. Both he and his sister got Faceted in the same clutch. That was such a special moment.
Now, I would be better off buying a new dragon who had his colours and also Constellation secondary and giving it Faceted, instead of valuing him as a project. All that uniqueness is just gone.
There's nothing special about a natural-born Primal like this guy below anymore. There's no point to transforming him with gene and breed changes into something gorgeous.
If their colours aren't already perfect, you're better off artificially upgrading a different dragon, instead of creating a wonderful project like you would with a G1. The whole point of those exceedingly rare eye types was to give a dragon a trait that couldn't be controlled to a T through money and breeding. To give them an inherent value.
What a joke.
