i got Sequoia here (xyy maroon/leaf g1) for only 500g in an auction- where i was the only one who bid. i was SO shocked- she's the perfect little redwood tree! and she looked good in every scry! i'm very happy i grabbed her. she's not fully gened yet (showed the scry), but she's pretty high priority rn.

For me, I'm kind of cheap so I mainly look at fodder priced First Generation dragons, and the dragons you can find at that price are astounding sometimes.
I think the most shocking I've found at those prices might be these two;

I'd been casually looking for a rose/sable child for a while and haff mostly given up on finding one. Then i stumbled across this lass.

Wow; grats! The previous one had Capsule, looks like. So, I guess the new guy's getting Veined, though, huh? He already looks fantastic; he'll look awesome when he's done!
For me, one was this girl: Hojicha. She's just missing Capsule and the majority of her planned outfit. But I wanted something earthy and calm and found her on the AH. As a pseudo-XYY, I was pretty happy to find her! Even so, this is one of the more low-key stories.

I guess the more "I can't believe I found this" g1's I have are two of my sakura dragons (who are even Nature dragons!) Neither are finished (at all; I only breed-changed Juusoku to Fae and have made no more progress on him yet) but I was still astonished to find such perfect sakura g1 dragons. Juusoku himself I got from someone doing a birthday hatch I was watching, so he's kind of special! :)

Last year I did a mass hatch for my FRversary, and I was totally unprepared for hatching an XXY one off triple. Especially after I hatched a different really pretty double and a cool Faceted kid. She's still unfinished, I was waiting for a new gem tert. That never happened, but I'm actively working on her now!
