Athexreh's Clan

There are few that wind up here by accident. There is an ancient curse in this land; a history of bad blood and even worse decisions. Those that do find themselves in the shadow of the valley, have one thing in common: they were running from something and don't want to be found. Few want to be remembered- the icy tundra is very good at erasing the past after all- and even fewer complain as the edges of memory fade and blur in the flurry of ice and snow.

Above, the floating island sways, completely inaccessible to the ditizens below. Occasional, bright flashes arc from the ancient buildings and light up the night sky. Travelers bring down cautious tales of mad scientists and shambling machines and gaunt, hungry dragons, but few listen to such tall tales.

Perhaps they should.
