@Reiyn So many pretty dragons! So many carefully constructed outfits, and plenty of juicy slices of interesting lore to sink into. Browsing through your lair was a delight! [columns] [nextcol] Well, if this isn’t the prettiest assassin dragon I ever did see. I absolutely love how the wine primary goes with the softer floral apparel. The rose thorn wing tangle is a particularly elegant touch; it displays how her pretty, bubbly exterior has a thornier, deadlier side. [/columns] [columns]Got to love a rough and tumble barmaid with a cowboy hat. She looks like she’s seen some heavy stuff in her day, and o wouldn’t want to mess with her. And you gotta love those copper butterfly wings! [nextcol] [/columns] [columns] [nextcol]As much much as I love edgy dragons, mercenaries and the like, it’s always nice to come across a genuinely kind and cheerful dragon every once and a while. Not only that, she truly looks like a creature of the cosmos, no star map/constellation required. I bet she’s an excellent forager, and that her curiosity will take her on many adventures. [/columns] [columns]One would expect a pretty dragon named Dove to be charming and mild, but nope! This lore really through me for a loop. That, and I absolutely love the outfit! The browns and whites are layered against each other expertly, and it’s another superb example of how an outfit can build a dragon’s character. Bright red against white is always a striking combination, but it was the plague mask and bandages that really caught my eye. I haven’t seen a dragon who dissects before, and the concept is fascinating. I’m particularly interested in what she does with all the parts she collects. Something delightfully sinister, I’m sure. @Alew I just want to let you know that I went through your entire Lair and Hibernal Den and it was extremely difficult to make a decision on which were my favorite. It's blatantly clear that you have put a lot of work into your dragons and I appreciate it! <3 (Your Monument tab is especially cool). The lore here is just beautifully done. Chickweed strikes me as a well spoken explorer. I adore that everything is written from her perspective and it's all very cohesive! ----- This Pearlcatcher statue is so cool. I love the description and the use of that skin! The snake quietly coiled on the wing and the two birds perched on the head and the hand, give the statue life and help me to imagine that it's a stone monument in the wilderness. The vines and the roses wrapped around the entire Pearlcatcher make her look as if she's been there for centuries as nature has slowly grown to take back what once belonged to it.

Let's revive this! Claim, anyone not in my orphanage 2nd page or lair cleanout tab is up for picking @Neonsunrise22 *cracks knuckles* buckle up cause I got lots to say. Let's start with Breccan. Now, normally I'm not fond of ancients because I love to dress my dragons, but the beautiful contrast here just... caught my eye. The dark primary paired with a light secondary, and white weathered? He looks absolutely stunning and eyecatching. Somehow, even his fire eyes don't look too out of place on him, despite being way out of the color pallet. In general, just a very stunning dragon. You'll find I'm a sucker for light colors, particularly greyscale, and Alaska fills that role perfectly. Not only does she have orca as her secondary giving her that nice dark mane, but moon primary is just such a soft shade of grey. Female tundras have always looked incredibly soft and gentle to me, and these colors even more so. The cozy outfit you have saved in her bio also does wonders for that vibe, so kudos to you. I don't know why Love caught my attention really, I'm not usually big on pinks. Maybe its my obsession with slate and related colors, particularly with jaguar, but I'm really rather fond of him. The blue tints in coral toxin work in surprisingly well with the cool tones of slate and orca, though also clearly compliment coral itself. All in all, a wonderful and interesting dragon. Obligatory love for the every matchy XYY Justice. The brightness of lemon contrasts so nicely with the darkness of obsidian, and I even find myself fond of the textures in facet this time. Normally I associate wasp with its secondary bee, but facet is quite complimentary here, a little gentler in the texture than bee would be. Justice is a quite fitting name for the vibes this boy gives off. Of course I have to give love to Kuru... Aesthetically speaking, he's a wonderful mix of warm neutrals and pale whites with his apparel, which fits quite well with the plague aesthetic overall. I love how peridot stained gives him a sorta washed out look, which really helps with sanguine's richness in comparison to berry. His outfit is nice as well, I've always enjoyed how chest wraps work on male mirrors, and the fact that the wing chitin is used as a brace is a wonderful piece of lore! His lore as well, chilling and interesting for sure. What an interesting concept to work with, and done very well. Sky is just so pretty!! I love robin as a color, and it pairs so well with moon here. The silks are a wonderful soft touch, and the ice apparel fits nicely with her aesthetic. I love how well she matches her familiar, they even are in the same pose! Her title sparks such a vivid image for me, and I'm left quite curious as to the full extent of her lore. That quote you have in her bio is inspiring as well, I would love to know more about her! I haven't got to expound my love of autumn colored dragons yet, have I? Well, October here will be my place of love I guess. I love clay as a color in general, its such a unique shade of brown that blends into purple and red, and here it acts as a deep, almost shadowy primary that makes the warmer tones of his secondary and tertiary pop. Looking at his plans, I can say savannah will do him justice for sure, such vivid markings! Serotonin is very accurately named imo... Once again, I Really love stone, slate, and related neutral tones, and the way its paired with the turquoise range of blues if beautiful. Mint is a nice level of freshness, and spruce a darker tone that matches well. If his bio plan is accurate, he will look absolutely beautiful eventually! Stained really works well here, subtle as it is. Thicket might be convincing me to make another bard with a male tundra, that apparel works so damn well on him! The different shades of green in his secondary all match his apparel really nicely, and the fade of camo brings such a lovely shade of beige into the mix. Okapi is quite fitting in this case and does an amazing job at pulling everything together! I usually find Okapi too overpowering and hard edged, but not so much in this case. All in all, a lovely place to end my rambling. You have a stunning lair! Thank you for sharing!

@Redtiger7736 I appreciate the little blurbs of lore for each lair tab. Almost makes me want to sit down and do the same for my lair...but then I'd have to push myself to actually do it. [emoji=guardian laughing size=2] I like writing lore for my dragons, but it's pretty rare that the mood strikes me enough to get the motivation to do so. ----------------------- I was originally going to skip over Nantis because I personally didn't find him to be eye-catching, but I'm super glad that I didn't. He's really well dressed to suit his genes and coloration. Bonus points for him being a guardian. And then I got deep into his lore. (By the eleven, he even has theme songs! 'You Are the Moon' is such a sorrowful and gentle song, I'm glad there are others out there that like it.) New favorite lore term: "hatchlinghood". Love how you adjusted your lore to account for the change from Lightning to Wind Flight. Elspeth being Nantis' primary charge is super sweet. -------------------- Elspeth, like Nantis, is also super well-dressed to suit her colors. It's nice to see the Beastclan Raptoriks be incorporated into lore. I don't know if Beastclan lore is something people just tend to forget about and never use in lair lore, or if I just haven't read enough lore in general, but I like their inclusion in Elspeth's backstory. Appreciate the effort you've put in for her lore. ------------------- While I was browsing, Alcyone caught my eye. I don't really care for Lapis because of the yellow accent colors that often get paired with it for several genes, but she looks great, that Flaxen Noxtide goes really well with her primary. I like that her lore delves into individual dragon variation, and the effects of the environment on growing hatchlings. Just some really cool world-building stuff going on here. I like the inclusion of character relationships paired with little headshot images in the bios. That's a really nice touch, and I think you've done really well organizing your dragons' bios in a way that makes readers want to keep exploring each character. -------------------- Seabound is just naturally gorgeous and, like many of your dragons, is well-dressed. It's at this point that I've realized that the differing side banners in the bios for several of the dragons represent their origin flight followed by their current flight. Incredible attention to detail, I think that might be one of my favorite things I've seen in your lair. --------------------- As I keep browsing, your lair has truly become a lore rabbithole. I could easily be here reading and immersing myself in lore for hours. If FlightRising had a TripAdvisor mechanic, I would give your lair a five-star rating and a hearty recommendation. It's a great place to visit to see sharp dragons, and honestly can be of assistance to those who may have writer's block. It's very clear you've put a lot of time, effort, and love into your lair, and I'd wish that kind of enthusiasm for everyone who joins Flight Rising. At this point, I'm gonna start to wind down my post (and hope to god nobody has posted on your lair before me, I probably should have claimed, I didn't realize I'd be this invested), but I'll share some dragons, in no particular order, that I adored the look of. It's at this point that I've realized that the differing side banners in the bios for several of the dragons represent their origin flight followed by their current flight. Incredible attention to detail, I think that might be one of my favorite things I've seen in your lair.

As I keep browsing, your lair has truly become a lore rabbithole.

I love that the Geth mentioned in your lore is an honest to goodness real dragon in your lair, and just screams 'Villain'.

Also, the idea of a G1 orphanage is very sweet.

I wish you the best, hope to encounter you and your lore again during my travels of Sornieth, and may you never suffer writer's block.
