So, curious, I went to her bio to get a better sense of who she is. What I like about her bio, despite how small the description is, it gives me a good sense of her personality and what she is like in the clan. Truly she sounds like such a character, possibly even irritatingly so. However that makes a wonderful comedic character that can instigate hilarious conversations with her clanmates. It is very easy to picture this vain Mirror perched in her den before a mirror, picking the dust out of her jabbot and running a lint brush over her tunic. After all, it would be pretty easy for those light colored articles to collect that vulgar dust. She probably spends hours in front of the mirror for her morning routine. That obsessive dedication to fashion and good hygiene would definitely solidify her position within the clan as the Beauty Queen. I know you say that she goes out of her way to clean the others despite her high-and-mighty attitude but I think it makes more sense that she does it [i]because[/i] of her high-and-mighty attitude. How can she ever show up anywhere in civilized society with her family dusty and dirty? She is, in her own way, making sure that they stay healthy and pretty. Which is something that I feel is a very good thing. I think as a character she should have her vanity and have a healthy dose of arrogance to add spice to her personality. I'm definitely not saying that she should be arrogant all of the time, far from it. Once she has one of her clan in her clutches, cleaning their scales, I can see her being so nice and charming. The compliments would fly and her clanmate would leave feeling much better about themselves. Ah, I love talking about characterization. Hopefully you liked my thoughts. I really think you have a wonderful Mirror Lady here. Maybe giving her some flourish apparel will make her appearance even more amazing. Actually, maybe some Onyx Flourish on her wings will go with her filigree genes? Just an idea. She is visiting my clan for a while for a breeding project that a friend and I are doing. @Bossfight Haha, yeah... Clara Stella seems to create that effect a lot. I love my darling star reading Mystic. Luna Spiritus is not finished though as I indicate in her character profile. For lore purposes she will have filigree, plus it will look stunning on her. I will also be getting her bee.

That skin is gorgeous, and matches so well with her apparel that you wouldn't even know it's a skin! In fact, my first thought upon seeing her was "Wow, is there a new gene I haven't heard of yet?" Either way, I'm always a sucker for Skydancers!!! This lass makes basic look beautiful! Basic is a very underappreciated gene, but she, even without fancy markings, makes it look so beautiful! Combined with the general simplicity of her apparel, it really makes her shine like the moon she's named after!

@furo allllllrIGHT so first up I love how nicely your lair is organized And how you dress Spirals up so nicely, I’ve always had trouble putting clothes on the noodles i can tell they're definitely your favorite breed bUT BACK to the BEAUTIFUL DRAGONS, Starting with your girl Luxe! The oranges with the purpley reds go surprisingly well together, and she looks so ethereal! The accent blends so beautifully with her, I didn’t even know she had one and just thought it was Starmap! Crimson silks were an [i]excellent[/i] choice for her, they make her look so regal! I never would’ve guessed she wasn’t the leader of The Tenebris. Second up, Kairos! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=47955490] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/479555/47955490_350.png[/img] [/url] I’ve always loved Orca, it’s probably my favorite color on Flight Rising, and Kairos is a great example! She uses the purple undertones really well, especially with that UMA! The silver and twilight sylvan layering was a [i]genius[/i] move, and look almost exactly like the wings, giving her nice little arm- and leg-wings, almost like a Spiral! I love her lore, too, I’ve always liked ethereal beings (if you look in my lair you will find plenty). And finally, Eulesia! All the pretty autumnal yellows and oranges, and the beautiful smoky NotN apparel! She looks like a spirit of the wind itself, like autumn winds, and like she should have three other siblings for the other seasonal winds. The halo just adds that little extra bit of light color that really gives her an almost goddess-like vibe! @ZincAlloy First of all, OMG lore. Lore everywhere. I love it! I really could spend hours reading through it all, it's delightfully written. All your dragon's personalities are as colorful as they are, and the actual writing of their bios is so lighthearted. I love her color combo. That orangy accent just blazes a stripe through the other colors. It's complementary when it could have easily been clashy. I adore magic using dragons, but her particular brand of magic isn't one I've seen. I love the tongue-in-check, lighthearted nature of her bio. She's got so much personality. That juxtaposition of being able to see the future in a dragon who is really rather short-sighted personally speaking is great. I love it when a dragon's skin or accent blends so well with their actual colors that it's hard to tell where one stops and the other begins, and Aranwen accomplishes that beautifully. The actual accent is absolutely drool-worthy, and once again you've shown a wonderful ability to match the skin to the dragon seamlessly. This poor boy. He seems rather harried. There, there. You're doing a good job, even if other dragons are all slobs with zero clue about anything. @myriadofstars It was so fun looking through your lair. It's so huge but has so many beautiful dragons. I love all the sparkles and the little crown. The dragon you picked for the accent perfectly suits it. His base is black which highlights the bright yellow color. You also got a dragon with matching eye colors and went with simple 1 apparel which doesn't cover up the accent but frames it. The dragon itself doesn't seem too plain with the accent either. Even though it focuses on a black color palette to contrast the yellow has little details of his own to complete the look. Metal and bee are very subtle but add shininess and a gloss. The colors and apparel choice are perfect. The best part is that you didn't even need an accent or skin you make him look good. Anyways I love the autumn witch aethetics. I like the amber nightshroud since I think it looking like rags is fitting for the outfit since literally he has a scruffy old looking hat and cobwebs. Purple and yellow is a really eye pleasing color combo. Purple is the complementary color of yellow which makes both of them stand out even more. The accent has a nice sandy aethetics which combines nicely with the purple and blue to give a sort of astrology, desert, sand man kind of aesthetic. The apparel set is just perfect on this dragon. The candle on the top is a really nice touch. The color pallete has nice darker shades of purple but bright hues like cyan blue. The color palette is a simple grayscale but that honestly is a pleasing color palette to look at. He's like the dark night sky where you can see all the stars.

She has absolutely amazing genes, and they seem to fit together like a puzzle. I love how her cream butterfly and petals makes a lavender accent color, and the ice glimmer really compliments it and ties the whole color scheme together. Then we come to the apparel, which manages to be eye-catching and gorgeous without cluttering everything up. The flowering gladeboughs add a nice accent while adhering to the pastel, ice cream aesthetic. The rose apparel achieves the same goal while adding a splash of a more yellowy pastel at the same time, and the daisy lei really goes well with it. The Kelly Green Locket is a nice touch as well. One of my favorite things is her personality, I love how she's a fiery ball of rage underneath the soft pastels. All in all, you did a stunning job on her! He really makes basic genes look incredible with just one accent and nothing else. The underbelly, normally a gene I hate with a passion, really keeps the whole dark aesthetic in place and holds it all together. XXX obsidian really works well with itself. With all that out of the way, let's address the Imperial in the room: Your choice of accents for Shadow was [i]incredible[/i]. Seriously, that accent adds an amazing splash of color to the whole ensemble, and makes him stand out when compared to the XXX Obsidian dragons who make up for their admittedly bland colors with apparel and genes. Shadow is what shows that even dragons who have almost no genes or apparel can be absolutely gorgeous just with terrific taste in accents. Major kudos!

The opal goes great with the yellow and sunshine. His wings remind me of honey. I also really love what you did with the apparel. The red is a really nice contrast to all the yellow and gold! I love how the apparel is a darker green that goes with his genes and colors. I also really love that cat on his head it's just the cutest thing. I really like how his plague eyes give a pop of red to all the greens too!
