Okay. This may not be as grandiose as my first draft (my browser crashed in the middle of writing, go figure), but the gist of the whole thing was that you have a truly inspired lair with a very colorful cast of dragons that I was actually taking a peek at when I first messed up.
Why? Because your avatar dragon is super cool looking. And then the rest of your lair ended up being amazing, too.
This is the siren of your lair. Temperance is amazing, with this weird vibe that I have a really hard time putting my finger on. It's ancient, and it makes me think of something from an art history class I took in college; the accent kind of has a Mycenaean death mask sort of thing going on, and there's a sort of old-world, almost
Babylonian flair to the rest of him. It's very cryptic looking, and for some reason he makes me think of Lamassus, which is pretty dang cool.
Beyond that, I will for real tell you that this is the only dragon with Light primal eyes that looks good. In my professional, humble opinion.
Then we have Jack, who is a pretty good example of how you're really good with themes in your dragons. I said in my original, now-lost write-up that I wasn't sure if it was intentional that you had so many dragons who seemed to be designed around a theme, but even if it was subconscious, you are very good at it.
Like, Jack is a good dragon themed around death (look at that tert gene and accent), but without being stuck in the stereotypical category of blacks and greens and bloody crackle genes. Instead, he follows that theme by being revolving heavily around autumn (essentially, a season of death), with a very warm and unique color scheme and get-up that makes him a joy to look at.
And just so I don't stay stuck in Le Village:
Iriangu is Spiral goals. I am glad I was forced to retype this because when I went back for a second go-round of your lair, I realized I had missed a lot of interesting looking dragons that I regret missing, and Iriangu is one of them. The big thing that gets me about him, though is THAT HEADGEAR.
He's a pretty dragon, don't get me wrong, but that is some clever layering that is... pretty goddamn inspired, if I do say so myself. I love how seamlessly his darksong mask goes over the lion headdress, blending in seamlessly, making it look like he has this natural mane and some vampire teeth going on. I love the expression it gives him, doing away with that wide-eyed, jovial look and replacing it with something meaner and tougher, and much more fitting for his warrior aesthetic. This is an A+ dragon, and I'm sure you're proud as hell of him.
And for a lightning round of other dragons I found that I liked:
I have this accent, too! And I never would have thought to use it on such a brightly colored dragon, but I love the effect it has. The black makes the orange pop, and the blues in the feathers go well with his Petals gene. He's very intimidating looking, too, for being a dragon so draped in silks. I, for one, can get behind that.
A chaotic good archaeologist? Sign me up. She's absolutely adorable and brimming with personality, and her color scheme? *chef's kiss*
It is DAMN HARD to dress male Guardians, and even harder to dress them in a balanced way that isn't just a bunch of armor or tried-and-true "popular" apparel for the breed. I really dig the color scheme, with the reds and browns, and that kelpie wig was an awesome choice for the fade that brings said reds and browns together.
This dragon is the personification of chaos and I want her. She's perfect. I don't really have anymore to say. She's PERFECT.
