Teach me the secrets of the Hewn City! Much as they loved stories and storytelling, they just didn't have the patience to absorb much through reading, much less cataloguing disorganized books. They also lacked the strength to help with the physical labor required. Furthermore, everyone was [i]also[/i] a little too busy at the moment fixing the library and preparing for Brightshine Jubilee to take a break for one of their storytelling performances just yet either. That spiral looked a little high strung, but in an endearing sort of way. Add a group adventure into the Hewn City recovering artifacts and Diem and investigating their unusual appearances though? The potential for new stories were pretty endless. They had enough magic, they felt, to stay reasonably safe in a group and trusted their patron would be watching over them regardless. [i]This little expedition just might teach me the secrets of the Hewn City![/i] They thought to themselves. As such, when Skywall turned to them, they gave him what they hoped was a friendly, winning smile and a playful salute with their tail in lieu of a claw. "Reporting for Hewn City adventure!"

Above the clamour of the already busy port and it’s Brightshine preparations, she hears the voice of a blue wildclaw wafting across the crowd to her, realises the speeches have already begun and quickly bustles in that direction. As she draws closer the words become distinguishable: "... collapse of the Great Sanctum Library a few weeks ago, we've been hearing and feeling faint rumbles from certain parts of the Sunbeam Ruins.” Exactly what had brought her here! She admires the discipline of the warrior pair, Netcha and Errai but that is definitely not the path she has spent her lifetime honing skills for. And as much as she admires the spiral’s work and theories she can’t imagine spending any amount of time around him or his annoyed looking companion. So much distraction! Her ears pick up at the mention of ley lines and once the speeches are over she takes the first chance that arises to meet the speaker. Respected colleague is the feeling she immediately gets from Melusine, their first sight of each other a mutual experience of grounding the Lightning dragon’s elemental flow to her own Earth flow. Having spent most of her time in Dragonhome around other Earth dragons it was something she had never felt with such intensity before. She feels the pearlcatcher’s dedication to their chosen Element, a strength of dedication parallelling her own which she had never before felt from another dragon. [b]“Melusine” Golira requests “I would very much like to join your excursion investigating the recent surges in leyline activity.” As she pauses for an answer her gaze meets Moondust’s which elicits a spontaneous minor verbal eruption: “One theory suggests these surges may be what is causing the fluctuations in the Moon Portal’s field”[/b] Golira realises she’s blurted out of turn. She’s never been a chatterbox and her studies haven’t exactly been conducive to learning social mannerisms. It was only one of many theories, why had she blurted out that particular one? Realising she’s in uncharted waters, she shuts her jaw, tilts her head and waits for the reply from the two dragons she has immediately felt so close to, hoping she hasn’t alienated either of them by being too forward....
