They tend to specialize in the lands they were born in. Hiring a DAGGER is much akin to booking a tour with a group: Each DAGGER has a trip timetable that is based on optimal travel conditions, and each trip, in turn, has a limited number of slots. Dragons can reserve a slot, and they have to show up at the appointed meeting spot and make the journey with the rest of the group. They can also arrange for their DAGGER and tour group to pick them up; this service may incur additional fees. Once the group leaves the lair, the journey then proceeds along the designated route, with travelers being dropped off or picked up as needed. When the DAGGER reaches the end of their route, they can collect a new group to take back with them to the Sunbeam Ruins, or make the return journey alone. Customized tours (i.e. stuff that isn't along the usual routes) are also available on a case-by-case basis. Interested parties can book an appointment with the DAGGERs and discuss the travel plan with them. These are likely to cost more than the usual trips. All DAGGERs are skilled guides, and the ones who specialize in guiding dragons through untamed lands are also good with weapons and combat — the better to protect their clients. They may also recruit other dragons for additional protection or skills, such as cooking and magic.
