All life springs some something at its core. Some believe in the lands and the trees that reach to the skies, other the rotting flesh and decay of death. Light fights shadow. Water and fire dance among themselves. ice and the earth shape landscapes. Lightning and wind battle over the skies, but what of those under the banner of the Arcane? Well, knowledge is their weapon, and their rival. True knowledge is power. Once one understands the world, their abilities become limitless. |

No one truly knows what its intentions are, or how they pick their disciples. Is their passing of knowledge and future-sight a blessing of truth, or a curse of madness.  Gen 5 Royal Family: Pure Progen Line Val and Lyn > Simon > Sebtasian > Nephalie > Flynn > ME! You've encountered a member of the lineage project "A Royal Family"! Descended from one or both of the progenitor dragons Val and Mia (formerly Lyn), members of this family have widely varied experiences of the world around them. With the first members of this bloodline establishing a clan in the Viridian Labyrinth that became a city-state monarchy in the Shifting Expanse, there is a tendency for these dragons to think of themselves as royalty even after the unexplained disaster that led to the destruction of the Greenleaf Court. Later lines and offshoots, especially those who can trace their lineage back to Lark or Simon may not have as strong ties to their royal past but being descended from the rulers of a criminal empire may give them as strong a sense of pride, or potentially shame. Mia's later descendants, from after she changed her identity and fled the court, may have no idea of their lineage whatsoever. |

A band of pirates is an unlikely place to find royalty, but that is exactly the secret the Diamond Sailors are hiding. At one time, the Corrupted Port was a haven for scientific advancement, lead by a king and queen by the names of Skyron and Millie. But eventually the residents' thirst for knowledge lead to dangerous risks and outright negligence, eventually destroying their own kingdom. In fear and shame, the last remaining clan members took to the sky, never speaking of their old lives again. For the most part Millie and Skyron are content in a life of piracy, but some of their descendants may want to rebuild the kingdom they abandoned. |
