Effluvium

One of the two oldest members of the clan, along with her mate Isolda, Effluvium is the most knowledgeable dragon in the lair. Her historical insight is highly valued, as is her friendly attitude. "Oh, please, call me Effie, dear. Now, what did you need help with?" Effluvium's chosen familiar is Convolution, a glassbound solarvul. He is a mischievous, but faithful companion. Delilah met Effluvium on a trip to the Observatory, and the two became fast friends. Learning that she was estranged from her own clan, and valuing her skills as a historian, Delilah offered her a place in the Seckendorff clan, which she happily accepted. (An absolute beauty, courtesy of Kawaiijohn, and my most expensive dragon to date. Fun fact: Effluvium means "emanation", and is a synonym of "vapour".)

April 16th, 2021 - The Seckendorff clan was formed by Delilah and Kobalt Seckendorff.

April 19th, 2021 - Firmament, a dragon with the notable id of "68777250", was adopted from the Blossoming Flowers clan.

April 25th, 2021 - The Glückskatze clan was formed by Walpurgis and Eidolon Glückskatze, and the total number of dragons in the lair reached 10.

April 30th and May 2nd, 2021 - Ryujin was brought to the lair by Firmament, and adopted. Two days later, they told the clan their story.

May 14th, 2021 - A day of somewhat personal importance - I met Delilah, and was welcomed into the clan.

May 19th, 2021 - Isolda bravely turned her back on exaltation to join the clan, becoming our wise tactician. (Note to Delilah: It's a notable enough event to be included. My wording is immaterial.)

May 21st, 2021 - [Not clan canon] The clan was the 123rd like on dragon 420420.

May 22nd, 2021, approx. 12:00 AM - I first began this chronicle.

May 22nd, 2021, approx. 1:00 PM - A female Gaoler named Calico was born in the Glückskatze clan to Aster and Asmodea. A few minutes later, a male named Tortoiseshell was born to Walpurgis and Eidolon. These two hatchlings were noted to have an unusual colouration and attitude. This was the discovery of a new subspecies, dubbed the Glückskatze Calico after its first member.

May 27th, 2021 - Constance and Sagittarius Seckendorff had a clutch of five hatchlings, and the total number of dragons in the lair broke 20. The official 20th dragon was their firstborn, Chiron.

May 30th, 2021 - Steam joined the lair as Flambebe representative, and the total number of dragons in the lair reached 30.

June 1st, 2021 - A sanctuary to the Minor Deities was built in the lair, with shrines to the deities of Time, Yur the Commemorator and Syche the Day-Seizer.

June 4th, 2021 - The lair was expanded to accomodate up to 50 dragons, and officially declared Mighty.

June 5th, 2021 - The missing Glückskatze child returned.

June 16th, 2021 - After the clan helped with the Dustcarve Dig, a first-generation Obelisk named Emerald joined the clan.

July 4th, 2021 - Chiron and Indigo Seckendorff, through the power of alchemy, enchanted cloth, and stolen water magic, successfully created a sentient animated construct with the soul of a dragon. They named their child Plushie.

July 25th, 2021 - On the first day of the Thundercrack Carnivale, the clan forged an alliance with the Lightning flight. Cuprum, a child of the Stormcatcher, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance.

August 7th, 2021 - Vulcan was taken in by the Seckendorff clan, and the total number of dragons in the lair reached 40.

August 22nd, 2021 - Venus was sent to the clan as a symbol of approval by the Flamecaller.

August 27th, 2021 - [Not clan canon] Psyche and Kintsugi were purchased, starting up my hatchery.

February 14th, 2022 - Valentine's Day: Five months prior to today, the clan was struck by disaster, and forced to scatter to survive. Today, friends, family, and loved ones were reunited, as we took back our home. A new shrine in the sanctuary of Minor Deities was erected. The tale of the Diaspora stands there, that we might never forget.

February 21st, 2022 - [Not clan canon] I finished Puppet, my first fandragon.

March 2nd, 2022 - The Aberration ancient breed was discovered in the Wyrmwound. Pneumonia came to stay with the clan.

March 11th, 2022 - Veteran Gaoler Atlas joined the Glückskatze clan in order to investigate the cause of the Diaspora, and the total number of dragons in the lair reached 50.

March 27th, 2022 - On the first day of the Mistral Jamboree, the clan forged an alliance with the Wind flight. Nightingale, a child of the Windsinger, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance.

March 30th, 2022 - A shrine to Deera the Starseeker was built in the sanctuary of Minor Deities.

April 1st, 2022 - With the assistance of Pythia, Lotus took advantage of a spike in magical energy to make a prediction of the future for each clan member.

May 16th, 2022 - Snappers Caramel and Calantha joined the clan, and the total number of dragons in the lair reached 60.

May 22nd, 2022 - On the first day of the Greenskeeper Gathering, the clan forged an alliance with the Nature flight. Dragonfly, a child of the Gladekeeper, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance.

June 8th, 2022 - [Not clan canon] To celebrate the ninth anniversary, I started the Lepidopterarium collection.

September 25th, 2022 - On the first day of the Starfall Celebration, the clan forged an alliance with the Arcane flight. Trismegistus, a child of the Arcanist, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance.

November 27th, 2022 - On the first day of the Rockbreaker's Ceremony, the clan forged an alliance with the Earth flight. Heather, a child of the Earthshaker, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance.

December 18th, 2022 - The clan's first Night of the Nocturne celebration began, and the Nocturne animator Hekate hatched from an egg found in the lair.

December 24th, 2022 - The Undertide Laminaria joined the Seckendorff clan, and the total number of dragons in the lair reached 70.

January 7th, 2023 - A shrine to Cardinal the Shadetouched was built in the sanctuary of Minor Deities.

January 22nd, 2023 - On the first day of the Crystalline Gala, the clan forged an alliance with the Ice flight. December, a child of the Icewarden, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance.

January 28th, 2023 - Cesare and Clementine, siblings of clan duelist Albertine, found their way to the lair, with the help of the paladin Ardoin.

February 13th, 2023 - Cece, daughter of Atlas, joined the Glückskatze clan.

February 19th, 2023 - On the first day of the Trickmurk Circus, the clan forged an alliance with the Shadow flight. Grimm, a child of the Shadowbinder, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance, which brought the total number of dragons in the lair to 80.

March 5th, 2023 - A shrine to Hypnopomp the Dreamteller was built in the sanctuary of Minor Deities, and the clan was entrusted with the care of his daughter Cordelia.

March 22nd, 2023 - Two eggs crash-landed in the lair, and hatched into the Aether brothers Eagle and Neptune.

March 23rd, 2023 - The Raumfahrer clan was founded by Eagle and Neptune Raumfahrer.

April 23rd, 2023 - On the first day of the Wavecrest Saturnalia, the clan forged an alliance with the Water flight. Medusa, a child of the Tidelord, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance.

May 19th, 2023 - Angel and Ichor Rosa had a clutch of three hatchlings, and the total number of dragons in the lair broke 90. The official 90th dragon was their firstborn, Vivian.

June 25th, 2023 - On the first day of the Brightshine Jubilee, the clan forged an alliance with the Light flight. Geiger, a child of the Lightweaver, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance.

July 19th, 2023 - The Seckendorff clan took in Imp, a very unusual young Sandsurge.

October 22nd, 2023 - On the first day of the Riot of Rot, the clan forged an alliance with the Plague flight. Carrion, a child of the Plaguebringer, was taken in as a symbol of this alliance. This marked the clan's alliance with all eleven deities, and the completion of the Elemental Embassy.

November 8th, 2023 - The artificial intelligence Vox joined the Seckendorff clan, bringing the total number of dragons in the lair to 100. It was soon followed by its sibling Deus, the 101st. (Note: while neither Vox nor Deus consider themselves dragons, they agreed to be counted as dragons for this census.)

March 7th, 2024 - The ancient warrior Draugr joined the clan, and the total number of dragons in the lair reached 110.
