Biography
~Ryujin Seckendorff~
 
The eighth and last child of the Seckendorff clan's second generation, and the fourth of Delilah and Kobalt's children, Ryujin is an optimistic, kind, and deceptively tough dragon. They're always ready to go on an adventure with their big sister, and they don't let their past determine their future.
"I don't miss my old clan - I've got a real family now. I guess... I do sometimes wonder what happened to my siblings, though."
Ryujin's chosen familiar is Brocken, a lux spectre. They befriended them on an adventure in the Sunbeam Ruins, and became a helpful scout, as well as occasional troublemaker. Born into a ruthless light clan obsessed with "perfection", Ryujin was destined for abandonment from the moment they hatched. A year before their adulthood ceremony, they were left on a cliffside to fend for themself in the wild, a ritual meant to either toughen imperfect hatchlings up for their forced exaltation, or dispose of them. Instead, though, they ran into Firmament, out on one of her adventures. Firmament took the young dragon in, eventually bringing them back to the Seckendorff clan, where Delilah and Kobalt officially adopted them. Ryujin is the adoptive younger sibling of Firmament, Constance, Rosefinch, and Myst. They're Firmament's adventuring partner, and look up to their eldest sister greatly. When they're at the lair, they're also good friends with Sagittarius, and Oralie, who they do not have a crush on. (Purchased in the middle of trying to save money, but I couldn't resist this kiddo - thanks, Elonakele! Fun fact: Ryujin is a Japanese god of the ocean, usually depicted as a dragon.) |
