Cece is an oddity among the Glückskatze clan, being far less dedicated to the Gaoler cause than her clanmates. She acts as a regulator, ensuring the clan's sense of duty never overrides their ethics.

"I've seen what happens when leaders forget their underlings are dragons. Never again."

Cece's chosen familiar is Priscilla, a fawn fox rat. She's a rare hypermelanistic mutation of fox rat, that thrive in the Tangled Wood.

Born to Atlas and his mate Eira, along with her brother Tamat, Cece was inducted into her mother's elite Overseer clan at birth, shortly before her mother's death and father's reassignment. The clan was ruthlessly practical, even by Gaoler standards, and Cece grew up without anyone to protect her from it. Tamat left for the Seekers as soon as he reached adulthood, but Cece failed her Seeker exam, and was forced to stay until an incursion gave her an opportunity to leave for good. Five names are carved into her eternal ice crystal: Narwhal, Pyrrha, Borealis, Artemis, and Kit.
