An apprentice warrior, Vulcan is hot-headed and confident, taking a casual approach to most things. His strength and talent with weaponry more than back up this attitude.

"Don't beat youself up about it. I have really good weapons."

Vulcan's chosen familiar is Cristata, a sunstream contestant. She's his combat mentor, and specialises in the art of utilising many different weapons in a fight.

When the first Warrior's Way took place, veteran warriors Tarandus the centaur and Cristata the harpy, Beastclan residents of the Seckendorff lair, travelled to the Emberglow Hearth arena to compete. While there, they found two orphaned hatchlings, Banescale Virginia and Spiral Vulcan. Growing attached to the children, and seeing that they had nowhere else to go, they took them on as apprentices, bringing them back to the lair.

While Vulcan has no blood relatives left, he considers Tarandus and Cristata his parents, and Virginia a surrogate elder brother.
