Lotus

The first child of Rosefinch and Flammola's clutch, Lotus is unique among the clan. The latent water magic present in his grandfather Kobalt's bloodline expressed itself fully in him, granting him water elemental magic and, though weak, the probability-reading powers of an oracle. "Of course you're allowed to defy my prophecies. In fact, I encourage it." Lotus' chosen familiar is Lily, a chillriver bucktooth. She helps him to read the nearby water currents, which he uses to divine possibilities. Lotus is the adoptive younger brother of Artemis, and the elder brother of Goldfinch. His usual best friends, aside from his siblings, are his cousins Elizabeth and Mooncrown, who he befriended after discovering the strange natures of their existences.
