The Seer of High Winds - Clan Leader

SUMMARY
Struve is one of two founders of Clan Rivensong, and is still one of its current leaders. She holds the high council along with her mate, Gryzor. A strong, serious dragon, Struve cares more about her clan and her family than anything else. She will go to whatever lengths it takes to protect them. Because of this she can sometimes come off cold to others, but any who see her spending time with her friends and family will come to understand how much she truly loves them.

An exceptionally powerful and accomplished mage, Struve puts most of her magic to work as a wind seer. She is also accomplished in battle, but hasn't made use of those skills since the last flight of the Rivensong. Most famously, she predicted the forthcoming of the Omens, powerful dragons who she believes herald the end of the world. She knows what dangers the clan will face, and is determined to see them through it- no matter the cost.
HISTORY
Struve was born alone. She knew nothing of her birth, except for the wide open sky and the strength of the wind. She survived in the wilderness for years on her own, learning how to catch bugs on the wings and hide from danger. As she grew older, she learned how to bargain with the local beastclans and trade with passing dragons. She honed her power and connection to the winds on her own, her only teachers the windswept plains and the storms that wracked them. She found that despite her tiny size, she could hold her own with the strongest of gales. She tested her magic against others and found that she was stronger than them all.

She met Gryzor when she signed on as a mage working on the airship Rivensong. They both quickly grew closer, bonding over their shared wind heritage. While in the Sunbeam Ruins, however, they discovered that the captain was taking a powerful artifact known as the Eye of the Windsinger to the Daylight Sanctum. When the captain refused to listen to the crew's objections, Gryzor and Struve lead a mutiny. Commandeering the ship along with some friends, they eventually crashed on the Welkin Isles. There they decided to settle, naming their newfound clan after the ship, and shortly after they had their first nest- Morfael, Aurrunen, Marusya, and their adopted daughter Titania.

Well loved by many of the dragons in the clan, Struve is nonetheless a curious enigma to many. Her tiny size hides her immense power, and her strange mannerisms hide her great cunning and tenacity. She is a rigorous yet caring instructor who always manages to bring out the best in any dragon she teaches. She leads alongside her mate, Gryzor, but takes on the majority of the duties. By combining her intelligence with her scrying powers, Struve is an effective leader.
