The Drowned Seeress
SUMMARY
The first thing Delphinum was aware of was the quiet, powerful whispering of the Earthshaker- left carved forever into her heart. Like all of the very first generation of Obelisks, she was formed deep underground, placed in rows alongside her thousands of other siblings. In the darkness, the new children would be safe. Or so they thought. It was by chance that Delphinum's statue fell deep, deep within the underground river the Tidelord had created. It remained there, in the dark depths, magic swirling around her, until she was finally uncovered and she burst from the stone.
Forever changed by her time in the river, Delphinum was blessed with the ability to see deep into the future, but cursed by the haunting warnings of the Earthshaker. She resides now in the depths of the cave system near Rivensong, recording each and every terrifying vison she has. She is left desperately trying to warn a generation of dragons who can't- or won't- listen to her.

HISTORY
When Delphinum awoke, she began to drown. Not just from the water filling her lungs, but from the terrifying visions flooding her mind. Delphinum had been created to warn the dragons of the world of the dangers that would follow the Omens, but with the corrupted ability to see into that dark future as well. She may have been created by the hand of the Earthshaker, but when her statue fell into the river, her life was forever altered by the Tidelord. Delphinum was found by Clan Rivensong, who had been ferrying supplies to the dig site. Alarmed to learn that the clan was already familiar with omens, Delphinum frantically set out to try and convey the urgency of her visions. Terrified by the strange, new dragon, the clan turned to Struve- who realized that Delphinum was actually a seer in need of guidance. Now deep within the clan's cave systems, Delphinum continues to catalog her horrible prophecies, hoping that at least someone will listen to her. While her loud lamenting has given her a reputation as a terrifying and mysterious dragon, Delphinum is actually quite soft spoken and gentle when not terrified by her own visions. She is in frequent contact with her brother Meadowsweet, whose statue was next to hers and who chose to stay in the Earth flight. She visits him often. When at home, she enjoys swimming in the ocean at night, splashing in rain puddles, and painting.
