TITANIA
The Starwatcher
SUMMARY
Titania was born to an unknown pair of dragons on the Starfall Isles. Just barely a few days old, she was abandoned on the original airship the Rivensong and found by Struve and Gryzor. Older by only a few hours than their first nest, she was quickly adopted by the pair and brought up alongside her three nestmate siblings.
A brilliant dragon, Titania is extremely skilled with her arcane magic. Good at channeling it for spells, she is exceptional at using it to create powerful runes that, when combined with other kinds of magic, can amplify and alter the effects of spells. While she specializes in arcane magic, she considers herself a wind dragon- just as closely bonded to the Windsinger as dragons born in the flight's lands. |
HISTORY
Adopted on the final journey of the ship Rivensong, before it came to wreck on the Welkin Isles, Titania grew up with her three siblings Aurrunen, Morfael, and Marusya. The oldest of the leaders' children, they watched as the clan grew and developed alongside them. Titania spent much of her time learning how to control her magic and studying new techniques alongside Struve, scheming with her sister Aurrunen to try and develop something new.
As she grew older, her mischief developed into proper experiments. Titania briefly traveled to the Starfall Isles to gather materials and texts, then returned home to build a proper observatory. This became her workshop, where she spent her time developing new runes, enchanting items, and creating powerful spells. Her sister, Aurrunen, continued to help- although now she spends most of that time bugging Titania to get more sleep. While a skilled spellcaster in her own right, Titania grew to be more interested in arcane magic's unique ability to amplify and alter the magic of other flights. Coupled with rune crafting, the creation of magical draconic marks arranged in patterns to create new meanings, this magic can create new, powerful effects. Titania is an intelligent, creative dragon. Her time spent studying academic texts coupled with her practical experience means she is a powerful mage in her prime. She is interested in pushing the limits of draconic magic and the field of rune crafting- and with her power, she may just be able to do so. In the rare chances she's convinced to take a break, though, she spends most of her time with her family or enjoying quiet moments in the library. |
