I'm in the same boat. A while back I drew up a project list because I was starting to get bored with the site, and that helped me get back into things. But now I'm looking at the list and wondering how I'm going to fund any of it without the coli. I don't have hours to max the fairgrounds every day.

Here's another few of the bad ones. Now, I will admit not all the captchas are bad. Like the ones on the rather plain Boreal Wood. But even when the icons are as clear as they can be, given their size, it can be hard to tell familiar wings from dragon wings. I can only imagine it's all the harder for new players who haven't memorized the Beastiary.
It would help a lot if a) the images were at least oriented properly and b) the item images weren't recolors. Combining those plus the busy backgrounds plus the size plus the similarity of familiars and dragons plus the apparel is just too much. These captchas really just need to be simplified.

I mean it's not like they've ever released a forum dark mode- in fact, when users took advantage of certain apps to solve the problem themselves, the staff declared it against the terms of use! I wouldn't be surprised if this goes the same way. Which sucks, because most of the time the admins are lovely people, but the accessibility issues on this site are so, so bad.

Even when I take off my glasses I can tell them apart due to color. So if all the runes are in very different colors (solid base, outline and glow) it should be pretty easy for most people to see.

As long as the symbols don't blend into the background/easy to see (give symbols a solid outline) it shouldn't be a problem for colorblind people cause they can see the shape. As long as it's not a color related question (which ruin is red or which ruin is the wrong color) it shouldn't be an issue.
As for the symbols players can go over to the Dom board to see a complete list of symbols and their element. There's really no excuse for not knowing the basic runes when you have a full list given on the site and if it's really a problem there could be a pop up cheat sheet with a list of all the runes.

True. Arguably, they made the forums worse when it comes to eye-strain. I still haven't adjusted and I'm still ticked off that we've also gotten absolutely no response on that either.

Honestly, at this point I would settle for an acknowledgement from the devs that this thread even exists.
Although an answer/comment one way or the other as to whether they plan to do anything about it or leave it as it is would be the polite and professional thing to do. At least that way some of us can decide if we can stay and play or if we are now limited to only dallies.

I honestly agree with everyone here and I can't even zoom in. Half the time I had to guess and hope I was right. I really hope that they fix it.

I've had this problem too. The first few times I just assumed I clicked a familiar or something because they look so similar sometimes. But then I got a wrong answer on what I was 100% sure was a backwards female imp.
